Fairfield Park

While my sister was away, I was taking care of her dog, and took him for a walk to this park a couple of times. I'm glad I did. It's a good size park with a nice wide open field to throw a ball and let your dog run around to burn off some of their energy. Plenty of good size trees to provide shade, along with a decent number of benches and a few picnic tables. There's also an excellent size playground and splash pad for kids, along with a great size parking area that's free.

Play area is fine. Small and. Nice. Splash pad was not upto the mark. The floor has to be cleaned as it filled with algae. Also the splashes were in even, so the water system needs to be checked.

Nice little park located in the Kingsway neighborhood. Lots of green space for playing soccer, baseball, frisbee or just running around with the kids and throwing a ball.

The playground seemed nice for older kids, nice sand boxes for the younger ones; the 2 year old enjoyed the sprinklers, good for very young kids; however better cleaning needed from the city; there were nice shaded areas & picnic tables available in a weekday; did not see any dogs around

A great park with some nice open spaces, some big mature trees and some newer ones, a popular playground and a splash pad for the kids to cool off in on a hot day.

The yard of a former elementary school, this park has seen gradual improvements over the years. It now has a well equipped playground and a splash pad. During the winter they have a naturally frozen ice pad. There is a large flat field which is good for many uses. However, personally, I like parks with a large natural area which this park lacks.
