Fairview Dentistry

I tried a calling at least 10 times now on 3 different days but no one is picking up on any of your numbers. I also booked an appointment online and it showed me that it was cancelled. Is there a number that works where I can reach you? No one ever picks up the call

Edit after reply: I don’t think it’s a phone machine issue whenever I call it says to enter 0 to talk to the front receptionist and whenever I do that it rings and no one picks up the phone and then it says to leave a voicemail. Is there no one at the front reception? Im just really confused why no one is picking up any calls for days. I just called right now again and no one picked up the call

The cleaning was good, but the smack upside the head with the $80 bill for something I didn't ask for or was asked if I wanted sucked.

Always a great experience at Fairview Dentistry. Some of the very best people work here…from dentists to dental hygienists to front desk staff. The equipment is top notch and very impressive. Now no need to do clay imprints - complete images are taken for a mouth guard with a wand. If you are new to the area and need to find a dentist, like we were a few years ago, look no further-this place is one I highly recommend.

Broke a tooth last night, called this morning and got in within a couple of hours. Staff were very friendly, kind and gentle. Very impressed, it was a great first experience.

Dr Stan is “The Man” to go to for all your dental needs. He is thorough, professional and friendly. Takes the time to explain what the problem is and what treatment we can choose from and what is best. The dental hygienist are very good at their job as well as friendly and professional. All in all a very Friendly, and professional team!

I had an appointment to have a cleaning today. The office called to see if I could come in earlier. The hygienist did a great job, friendly and considerate of the fact I was sensitive to the cold water coming from the power scaler.

I went there for an emergency and I was treated with so much care and compassion, starting with the patient care coordinator, Tracey and ended up with the wonderful nurse, so patient and kind, and the doctor who treated me.
This was my very first visit and I am so glad I picked this clinic!
Dr. Hiba Al Shawafi was very professional, with a big heart, very knowledgeable and most importantly very skilled. I've gotten 2 extractions at once, no pain, no discomfort during or after. Very impressing.

Dr Al Shawali is terrific, when she can get a guy who hasn't seen a dentist in over 40 yrs to feel comfortable and go back, that says it all. Never have I had a dentist who took the time to explain everything the way she did.

Switched dentists because of location and experience. Staff here are very pleasant and helpful. Everyone is friendly. The office is extremely clean and very modern. I’m disappointed it took me so long to switch dentists.

I am so glad I went too Fairview Dentistry Dr Kravtsov and his assistant works very effectively and super efficient with absolutely no discomfort whatsoever.
Any questions were answered in a very professional way and instructions on post operative care is very easy too understand.
The Front reception is very "on point " with the administration of their duties and also very welcoming and easy too communicate with.
They are all very beautiful people who all work well together as a team and I highly recommend them too anyone seeking any kind of Oral care.

Dr. Hiba and the receptionist staff are beyond amazing! My son who is 8 just broke both his two front teeth up top. Tabatha the receptionist was able to have him seen immediately with Dr. Stan. Today Dr. Hiba & her assistant worked through their lunch break to fix his teeth! Wouldn't recommend any other dental firm. Dr. Stan, and Dr. Hiba (their assistants) And Tabatha (and her secretaries) are all a dream team. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making my son's teeth what they were before today.

I am very appreciative that I could be worked into to the schedule for an urgent issue. Dr Stan and staff are great and I always leave informed.

Booked an appointment two months in advance and had a total of 4 confirmation texts/emails to confirm my appointment. I received a text on the Saturday (at 8: 40pm) before my appointment on Wednesday saying that the hygienist isn't able to make it in that day and asked if I was free to come in Monday. I wasn't, so I inquired on any other days that week. I was then offered an appointment for the same Wednesday, just later in the day. I thought the hygienist wasn't available, but okay?
I then asked if I would still be booked in for the two hours I was originally booked for. They said they could only get me in for the first part of the appointment, but if an appointment cancelled around my time slot, they would offer me that spot for the full two hours. I asked if there were any future availabilities for a two hour spot so I wouldn't need to book more time off of work. They then said that they don't do two hour appointments and they always split it up into two appointments and offered me a second appointment the following Saturday. I found this to be odd because when I booked the appointment initially, I was told I was booked from 10: 40am-12: 40pm or so. And if they don't ever do two hour appointments, why did you just say you could get me in for the two hours if there's a cancellation around my time slot?
None the less, I was eager to get in, so I accepted the two part appointment. One appointment on Wednesday, and one again on Saturday. I felt very off about the conflicting information I was getting and the way they are running this place.
Monday morning rolls around and I figured I'd just give them a call to confirm that I was booked in for both days and of course, they only booked me in for the one part on Wednesday and nothing on the Saturday. I told them to forget about either.

What is the point of booking so far in advance? What is the point of sending countless confirmation correspondence only for them to change everything around? Why do I feel lied to? Why are you texting me at 8: 30pm on a Saturday?

Unprofessional and obviously would prefer to lie instead of taking ownership. Too bad.

Needed a decaying crown replaced on an upper molar on the left which is a difficult spot. Dr. Kravatsov and his hygenist did an excellent job with great care and attention-to-detail and I was fitted with a temporary crown until the new replacment arrives in 2 weeks time. He is an excellent dentist who is very competent and professional. In addition, the practice is equipped with state of the art technology - used a digital scanner to take an impression!

Got a wisdom tooth pulled, took less than 30 min and felt absolutely nothing! Theyre very friendly and skilled here good work team

Always a great experience. Always put at ease. All dental staff are gentle and caring. They are also very flexible in payments for anyone without dental insurance. They really seem to care!

Very clean and nice looking dentist office, great staff. Overall pleasant experience. I would recommend this dentist office to anyone.

My hygienist, Kristal is the best! She's cheerful, knowledgeable & willing to go out of her way to make sure I get everything I need for the health of my teeth. Friendly staff are on top of appointments & flexible in their time slots. Beautiful renovations bring a bright, cheerful atmosphere.

I had a cavity filled at Fairview Dentistry, St Thomas, January 24,2019.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place.
Dr Stan is so thoughtful throughout the appointment, asking me if I was ok. He is very precise & careful to make sure it is as pain free as possible.
I am very happy with the results.
The hygienist was very knowledgeable & friendly. They also included me in their conversation.
Overall it was a positive experience.
The ladies at the front desk are friendly also.

I just had my 6 month cleaning & checkup.
Krystal is so awesome! She did a thorough job & we had lots of good conversation. She explained everything that needed to be done & gave me choices. I like being in control of what is done to my teeth.

The receptionists are not competent when scheduling appointments. They don't look at your chart before they call to reschedule or cancel.
Very unorganized.

They worked with us thru times schedualling payments made my husband feel comfortable would never go to another dentist again

This review does not include the reception staff or dental hygienist as they are lovely this is just about The dentist here as they have no empathy and I left there in tears and switched dentists.
I genetically have bad teeth and they told me genetics have nothing to do with teeth and that I just don't know how to care for my teeth despite my medical history. They charge you when they literally do nothing, I scheduled an appointment for a filling fix after a check up and I went in for my appointment and they said it was just a consultation and they were not fixing it even though they said that's what I was scheduled for and I even called to double check.that appointment was my last there as they charged me over $100 doing nothing and made me cry with their rude, judgy comments.
Unless you have perfect teeth with no issues I do not recommend going here.

Emergency visit due to a cracked tooth. The Doctor was amazing and checked with me throughout the process to see how I was doing. They had me scheduled the same day and then bumped me up after notifying me of a cancellation I could slot into.

Doctor took his time and informed me of the options. He tried to save the tooth but after doing some work he asked if we could take an X-ray. I accepted and he showed me the issues of why the tooth couldn’t be saved via said X-ray. It had to be pulled which he recommended be done now. I accepted and the tooth was removed painlessly. It took the doctor a bit of work but it was a surprisingly pleasant process.

I appreciate all their hard work and time.

This was my first time at Fairview and I have to say how impressed I was. Angie was very patient, knowledgeable, professional and kind. The exam went so smoothly that time just flew by. I will definately be telling all my friends and family about this place.

Dr. Shawafi is hands down the BEST dentist. She is so kind and comfortable and always has a smile on her face. She is the reason I enjoy the dentist.

This being my first visit I wasn't sure what to expect. I was impressed with the amount of technology they have and the gathering of information to best look after your mouth. The tech made sure she explained what and why she was doing each procedure, 2 thumbs up to her.

Hello, The best experience. Had no problem with getting appointments, really good with followups. Great team to hygienist and Dr's. Michelle my hygienist she is really good at work and my Dr. Hiba is great. Got 3 of my tooth filling down and one was out of hope but she did a great job on it and saved it. Thanks alot for that. Will definitely recommend it.

I had a tooth repaired today, very impressed! A great experience from the front desk to the dentist, super friendly, very clean. I hate needles, but I barely felt it! Great job ladies!

Today I had to have an extraction. Dr.stan and his assistant were excellent! Dr. Stan took his time when removing the tooth. Not like my other experiences where they would pull it out really hard. Also I would recommend Dr. Stan to everyone when the freezing is going you do not feel a thing. The staff was wonderful.

Wish I got the experience everyone else had. After waiting 30 days they replaced my appointment for someone else and I'm an emergency so guess there was little to no care there. Furthermore, I got belittling texts from the receptionist which I really don't need while in tremendous pain and freshly quitting smoking for a wee now so my emotions are already all over, not to mention just mentally exhausted. I will not bring any future work here and unfortunately for the more than likely deserving dentists here, they gotta reevaluate their office staff because they just lost them $8,000 worth of work. Easily. Be proud ladies. #dadsagainstbullies

Couldn’t be happier with Fairview Dentistry! You could tell the staff really has your best interest in mind. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful as soon as you walk in. The hygienists are very thorough and really put you at ease. And the dentists are very good at giving you your options and explaining everything. So happy we found Fairview dentistry!

Fairview Dentistry is unprofessional, doesn't schedule visits properly, and charges you full price even if you absolutely nothing done to your teeth.

My wife took our daughter in for her first checkup to have the dentist take a look at her teeth. She was nervous and wouldn't open her mouth for the hygienist. 5 minutes later they decided to leave, and didn't even see the dentist. When my wife tried to book another checkup the receptionist said that we had to pay for a full visit before she would schedule a follow up! $75 for absolutely nothing!

Later on my wife went in for a cleaning which was scheduled at the end of the day so we arranged a babysitter for the kids. They didn't complete the full cleaning routine because they didn't schedule enough time to complete it! They told her to schedule another time to come back to complete the full range of things they do at a cleaning.

The last straw. My wife got another babysitter, and went in to have all the remaining cleaning stuff completed. The hygienist said she needed to have a full round of x-rays and some other procedures done before her teeth could be cleaned. She wouldn't touch her teeth until it was all completed, and oh-by-the-way, the hygienist had to leave early that day to pick up her child from school for something and wouldn't be able to do the cleaning. So not only did she have to get another babysitter, but she wouldn't even be able to have her teeth cleaned! To add insult to injury, the previous hygienist had made a note on her file that said my wife asked for all that nonsense to take place over multiple visits because of "money issues". My wife asked the hygienist what all that was about, since that was a load of BS, told her she didn't appreciate the way our family had been treated, got up and left.

We will never go back to Fairview Dentistry.
This has been the worst experience we've ever had with a dentist. I will make sure that everyone I know is aware of how unprofessional they are.

The Dentists and Staff of Fairview Dentistry are very accommodating, friendly and caring. Dr. Stan is not invasive but passive during any procedure and always quick with the handshake when he greets you.

I had a tooth out yesterday. This was the first time and I was so impressed with the painlessness of the needle. Dr Stan is great at his job and Ann was great at assisting. I feel really good today. I was treated very well all the way around. The front desk girls are quick, knowledgable and kind too.

Always so friendly when we are in there. My kids feel very comfortable with the staff here. They always make them feel so welcome.

I am terrified of having to go to get dental work done due to a bad experience with a previous dental office. But EVERYTIME I go to Fairview Dentistry they are always very kind and very patient. They actually care and I am very thankful for them.

For someone who despises going to the dentist, the updated interior with TVs in each room I’d a great distraction from having dental work done. Dr. Stan and Dr. Wong are both extremely friendly, courteous and professional.
