This place is amazing. When you get to the top of the needle, you get a 360⁰ view of everything around you. Another cool thing is that inside the top of the tower there are destinations to show you what is in the direction, and in every direction you are looking. Below those are plaques with history stories about the falls. When you go out onto the tower observation area, you can feel the wind and see the falls clearly being up that high. The only bad thing to say is the disgusting trash piles on the outside ledge, on the other side of the fence. People are rude and disgusting to not just throw their trash away properly.
Magnificient! Love this view much better than US side (of course!). We luckily made it right before fireworks ends (there’s fireworks everyday from Apr to Oct for 5 mins).
Beautiful place to see Niagara Falls. You can park the car in the car park and walk across the road to get closer to the falls. Bring your umbrella just in case.
Went for first time and what an awesome experience. The lady at the counter, who I think may be the owner, was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Salon is extremely clean and got a good start on my tan. Highly recommend this salon.
What can I say, the Falls are just spectacular. They, have made the former power station an interesting and historical tourist attraction. The annual Christmas light festival started when I visited and it was fabulous how wonderful the fairy lights made the promenade light up for a mile or two. However, the other parts of the district were not of interest to me, dead quiet and shuttered during the week but attracting big numbers of weekend tourists for the casino and amusement arcades.
We spend new year eve there, once you got off the car, enjoyment of music, laughters, cool air tiding over you. The sound of moving water fall thundering toward you with steam and little rain drop all over you, the welcoming was very invited. The trees along the street were lighted up with different colors of light bulbs. Travellers all over the world had to spend thousands and thousands dollars sightseeing famous Niagara falls, we are Torontonians, so closeby this Wonder, no excuses not going to Niagara falls sereval time a year. Because there are tourists area, they will never be boring, all kinds of activities are available, international crusies complete to each other. First class hotels every where. Place to refesh, recharge, reward yourself.
Nice to visit Niagara again however prices have really increased. Realize economy has suffered through the pandemic but it is very costly. Be prepared to spend lots of money at restaurants and tourist areas. Other than that, it was lovely.
Fun pass was not available due to covid which means we had to pay full price for all the 6 attractions. Some attractions reduced service but still full price (6d became 2d)
Certainly worth a visit if you have never been, but once is likely enough. The boat trip into the falls should be your first stop. The zip line seems overrated. Walk behind the falls is more interesting for the tunnels than the view. The power station, recently opened, is worth the ticket price when purchased as part of a package. Parking is expensive everywhere and so are most of the restaurants. Should be combined with a trip to the wineries nearby.
Wish they would create more spots along the rapids and the gorge to stop and look at the scenery, other than the falls area itself the city has dropped the ball on views, many spots could have the vegatation trimmed back so you could see the sites
Gorgeous, as usual. Sadly, very empty due to covid.i'm glad i'm Canadian and was able to visit one of my favorite places in the world, but i'm sad at how deserted it was. And ALL the attractions are closed on the Canadian side.
Fallsview tourist area is a great time for the whole family, weather your a local or a tourist from Arcades, waterparks, rides, hiking, zip lining and site seeing at the worlds natural wonder The Niagara Falls for quality family time to and fine dining & Pubs/Bars for the adults and a bit of downtime away from the kids. Clifton hill literally holds every ingredient for a great time no matter what age. As a local I consider myself more then lucky to have grown up in such a fun and marvelous city!
Beautiful room great view but service was not good and never had a single thing delivered to my room like they said they would do instead I had to go to front desk
The view was beautiful except for some people not clearly wearing masks! It must be true that people have no care for other's well being! Other than that the view is alway's spectacular at night even more so!
Get a chance to visit awesome fall view in begining of summer. It's a unique experience to visit nature experience. There are many palces near about where you can get a nature peace. Avoid to visit during pamdemic time as most of the people roam without mask.
My friends and I visited in March 2021 Still in Covid alot of things were still closed but the falls we're beautiful! Only real traffic we seen on Saturday (busiest day of the week)
This is a great tourist facility with a tonne of amenities like food court, restaurants, information center and souvenir shops. There are bathroom facilities and areas where people could just sit amd figure out their next steps. The funicular railway is amazing and is worth the ride. There are escalators so really there is no need to do a lot of stair climbing. The center opens up Ti the closest view of the falls and is just breath taking. I recommend visiting this area and also aking reservations for the behind the falls tour. Overall excellent facilities.
Fallsview is the best place to be in the winter in the Niagara region. Plenty of sights to see. Always ask a local to know about hidden gems in the area.
Whether you walk this at day or night this area is a delight. Most restaurants are on this "main" street and there is lots of entertainment places and small museums to go into. I mean, there is even a race track for mini cars and mini golf with a friendly T-Rex. Definitely walk this area before or after viewing the falls.
Lots of attractions for family and friends to enjoy. Shops, arcade's, and many bars and restaurants. A close walk from the Fallsview Casino. Tower hotel landmark and a close view of the falls. With a lift train that takes you to bottom of falls. And back up if you want to also. Many hotels and motels around for you to choose from. Niagara bus lines close and efficient. A 15 to 20 minute walk to Clifton Hill. A must see for anyone who has not been here for sure.
The Christmas decorations and the scenery is gorgeous and mesmerizing to look at. The lights on the waterfall turn off at midnight and the color variations are quite lovely.
Easy parking and so much to do. Also a short walk to the falls. Beautiful in the evening with the lights, and if youre lucky to catch a firework display on the weekends.
Expect crowds and to pay a premium to park. There's a good chance that you will have to park up the hill somewhere and walk if you can't find parking close by. This is not a problem when you come to the Falls, but it's a pretty legitimate climb back if you're not used to walking up hills.
But the crowds and the hassles are worth it when you see the views. I definitely recommend checking it out after dark to see the light show and fireworks. It's also a beautiful spot for a run early in the morning when there's nobody around.
Beautiful absolutely beautiful if you are in the area this is the spot to be and I respect that you can watch the falls enjoy them and not be charged just for the view so you can enjoy your self bring some food and lay down on the grass facing the beautiful falls and enjoy yourself
