I will give zero stars to them because the front desk desk workers are all rude less than 24 hours. I went there three times each one said different thing to me once said we go by appointment the other say we just you just show up get in for a walk, and then they are blaming me that I am rude. My son has autism and he was in pain. His his thumb was swollen, but they didn’t even let us in to be checked by a doctor again I’m saying the rudest people I have ever seen here, and I live here for more than 22 years.

I just brought my son there at 7: 35 pm. Closing time is supposed to be 8pm. Apparently, the doctor went home because it "WASN'T BUSY. "

Dr. Cecutti is the best doctor I have ever had. Absolutely no doctor has ever taken the time and care that he does with each and every one of his patients. I actually feel heard, and that my health concerns are valid. He is also in recipe with children. I don’t trust any other doctors with my sons health

The front staff (administrators) are on a power trip. Not sure if they haven’t been laid in a while or whatever but they’re rude. Other than that - the doctors are great.

While this clinic is busy, the level of care is worth it. Despite moving over an hour away I will remain a patient here because of how much I value this clinic and the staff that work there.

My reason for only giving 3 stars is mainly due to the phone system, it is very challenging to book an appointment and I often have to call several times throughout the day as the phone system is either full, or reception puts you on hold and does not return to the hold. I know it is busy so I do try to be patient, but it’s very frustrating.

Dr nathoo, Leslie and Connie are all awesome here. We came with our toddler for urgent care and they were all amazing. The rooms are also great.

The doctors and staff have been friendly and great the past few times that i have been there. The only reason for the 4 star is the wait time to see a doctor. But other than that, the staff have always been friendly and acommodating.

I never write reviews before but this is unacceptable and its a must. I must say, these two receptionists are definitely something else that I've never encounter before. First, I was being friendly on the phone with her saying " How are you? " (Nice voice tone), she replied " Good, what do you want? " (rudest way possible). They kept asking what's your family Doctor name? I knew the Doctor name cause I always go to this clinic to make an appointment with him (Extraordinary Doctor). It seems, the receptionist always making up their own rules every time of not being bothered, clearly. Its impossible to make an appointment with these two rudest receptionists. After seeing all these bad reviews only about those two receptionists, why haven't they done something about them? This has occurred many years of this situation problem with those receptionists. How can they accept receptionist with the rudest behavior like this? How are they still working there? I'm confused. I will indeed make a file complaint of them cause I had enough of this. Please make them CHANGE their behavior or FIRE them. Goodluck making an appointment with these two rudest even if their busy receptionists show some respect to others who are ill.

Fortunate to have Dr. Mirbrehimi as my doctor. She is so thorough. Be prepared to wit though, even with an appointment. She does not rush and takes hwr time to ensure you get all your questions and concerns addressed. Front desk staff is very effidicient and friendly. Really love this clinic.

Absolutely the WORST receptionist in the history of health care work here! There is a very dark cloud over this medical centre. The receptionist clearly all hate their jobs and they do not care about the patients. I am told Dr. Sekouti is the owner & this facility is ran by him. Very shocked when I found out because He is a nice doctor but he does nothing about the complaints of his very negative staff. I seen one of the receptionist that use to work there at her new place of work (she use to be one of the rude/miserable ones) and I complimented her on how much her attitude changed seeing her in a different environment and she quickly replied by saying this medical centre was a VERY TOXIC WORK ENVIRONMENT.

I’ve never had a negative experience here, the reviews on receptionist are obviously based on how people treat them, little consideration for how hard their jobs really are, being treated poorly and disrespected by people daily. You get more bees with honey than you do vinegar, don’t expect friendly staff when you demand things and disrespect those who work so hard.
I come in to friendly faces every time, great with my whole family and my especially my kids! The doctors are awesome as well. Love it. Give respect, get respect!

Great Service, had to wait around an hour for a walk in appointment however that is pretty normal for any walk in service. Dr. Cecutti was wonderful in helping diagnose my issue, he did not waste any time ordered any necessary tests. As for reception lots of biased reviews are on here, if you treat medical staff with attitude and arrogance then you will be given the same treatment. Treat them with kindness & they were so lovely and more than willing to help.

I had to attend this urgent care this am. The experience was A 1 from start to finish. The doctor, Dr. Cecutti, was compassionate and kind. I would not hesitate to go there again and refer my friends. Thank you so much.

This has been where my family doctor practices for the last 30+ years and I have always received the best care available.
There is a wonderful pharmacy attached, and the doctors at this clinic truly go the extra mile for their patients.

Very clean, wonderful staff, and has fantastic hours.

My one star is for the receptionist, I wish I could make it a negative start number. I am a white woman making this review. Two of the receptionists, in my experience, are definitely in the wrong profession. People coming to or contacting the clinic are distraught, vulnerable, and dealing with symptoms that are concerning to them. Your job is to check your personal life at the door and be compassionate no matter who you are speaking to. Everyone that attends or calls the clinic deserves to be treated with respect. I have been treated badly on numerous occasions and have made complaints about the two receptionists, Storm and Connie. No one should have to be treated like this, but especially not at a medical clinic. Do better.

I have come to this clinic since I was young and they have always been super helpful and kind. Dr. Cecutti is a great doctor and the receptionists are very diligent and hard working. I strongly recommend this clinic. Since covid the clinic has adapted from direct walk ins to phone consultations, which I think is safer for the doctors and patients, as they can assess patients needs without putting themselves or others at risk.

Front end staff are awful. I called in due to an allergic reaction to medication and was told that in order to see a doc I would need to call at 12: 30 pm. When I called it was 12: 25 pm. I was only able to finally get through at 12: 45 to make an appointment. I hate how they talk down to patients with no care what so ever. With mental health the way it is more empathy can be given while still following your rules. You can see the way this is in all the comments it is a shame that upper management in this clinic doesn't address this.

Dr. Dawood is the best doctor I have ever had … love him. Very thorough and caring. I’d give him 5 stars. The problem (like so many other people have pointed out here) is the front staff. I’d give them negative 5 stars if I could. They treat people like garbage. I feel so belittled every time I have to deal with them. They have no idea what customer service means. I have no idea why they are still employed there. Do the doctors not know how they treat people? The doctors should read these reviews. It’s glaring that they have a problem with their front staff. If you can’t handle dealing with people, don’t work in a doctors office.

You go to hospital when you really need medical help! And when your family member is in pain and receptionist treat you like garbage or do sarcasm - just imagine that feeling! I wish I can record the conversation and report it to the government officials. In my life, I wouldn't expect anyone to go through this experience - this receptionist as well. Good luck for your career lady! I don't know how you are still working with so many negative comments about you on the page!

Doctors are still refusing to see patients in person. If you have any of Covid 19s many, many symptoms you are sent to the hospital to be assessed. My son has Tonsilitis diagnosed by Markham Stouffville hospital, then a few days later my 10 month old daughter showed the same symptoms so I called my medical practices walk in clinic so she could get treated and they refuse to treat her and send her for covid 19 assessment. Not everything is Covid, and considering my son has been diagnosed at a reputable hospital just days before with tonsillitis, it makes no sense to not treat my 10 month old for the same thing. I called to complain to the office manager, she was rude, told me they will not help her and when I said I would call to report to the college of physicians she told me to go right ahead. I will be looking for a new family doctor for our whole family now. Any care has to be better than the ZERO medical treatment this office is willing to give, all the while continuing to bill OHIP for telephone appointments just to send you somewhere else!

Exit to add, daughter was tested for covid, tested negative and diagnosed with tonsillitis just like her brother! Dr. Nassau was wrong it wasn’t COVID. There are other sicknesses other than covid, I hope you remember this for your next infant you refuse treatment to!

They don't deserve a single star. I will be complaining about this clinic to CPSO. If you are not taking any walk-in then why you even have a clinic. I understand because of Covid but there are certain illnesses that require physical check-up. What is the point if you just do phone consults. I went there yesterday and the receptionist is absolutely ridiculous. She asked me to call the clinic from my car and only then she would schedule an appointment. I was like okay, I will follow the protocol and I did and then she did not pick up my calls for a long time. When she finally did, she told me they only do phone consults. She should have told me that before when I was physically standing there.why waste my time? I could have gone to some other place and honestly, she did not wanted to take not sure if they are racist. I felt that way. She was so so rude. There were no patients in the clinic. Not sure what they are doing there. Medical cannot be virtual. Covid has given them a reason not to work. And they say, respect us. How can we respect you when you don't respect your own profession!

If you going to this Medical center be ready for rude receptionist, long wait to be called by nurse and even longer wait when they take u inside the room. There are 2 receptionist who act like divas one them is super duper rude (shoulder length hair in ponytail/medium build). Drs have so old school technology that you can't even follow up by email,

Now as Covid forced them to have things digital, you can send email only if you are asked to send them.i feel like they are still in the 80s. I wish i could hv given 0 star, overall horrible experience.

Update- 23 Nov 2021 -its been over an year of covid, they are not accepting walk in patients, if your baby has a cold or caugh you will be asked to go to ER if you don't have negative covid test. Its a shame they call themselves "Family care medical center" it should be "Family i don't care medical center". It's not worth even calling here.

First off let me just say this review is for the Administrative Services and not for the Doctors. The Doctors here are incredible. Outstanding. The receptionists are also friendly and clearly doing their best.

However, due to the busy nature of the clinic, there are many calls being placed to reception and when the system is full, you have to simply keep calling back until you are able to get through. Sometimes it takes me days to book an appointment. I should not have to resort to going into the ER because I cannot get through to my physicians office. Please consider making some changes to the phone system. Thank you

I don't write reviews but one is needed for here. I have been coming here since I was young and Dr. Nathoo has always been amazing. I'm currently taking a course and the nurses and front desk helped me get all my forms for placement done so fast and were so kind and there for me through this whole thing and I could not have done it without them. Incredible Clinic, should get 100 stars.

This has to be the worst "family" medical office I have ever been to. Besides having gone here for almost 20 years, the front staff in that time has continued to show a lack of quality customer service and rudeness. The only time I see (the majority but not all) smile is when they're gossiping about someone or something. I always get the runaround, when I ask direct questions the approach is aggressive/ not friendly whatsoever, and in terms of finding out information about my appointments being booked or the reasoning for those appointments, I'm snapped at & told to speak to the doctor and ask them. I have only stayed because of my family doctor. It's mind-blowing to think that the treatment being provided from the frontline advocates (receptionists) is acceptable. There's a massive disconnect when it comes to the respect of patients and a lack of organization and efficient communication.

I love my family doctor, Dr Naheed but this clinic’s front desk staff are very rude. I understand that dealing with people is difficult but I am hoping that they could be nicer to the patients. I am also a healthcare worker but this is not how a professional healthcare worker should act. Too bad for the doctors and nurses who are working hard in this clinic. They have a front desk staff who doesn’t deserve to work in a health care setting. I hope this clinic’s management will do something about this.

My family has been going to Dr. Michael for about 20 years. Dr. Michael is an Angel and I think of her as family. She is thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable and caring and very thorough when you have an issue. The Nursing staff are all friendly and supportive and treat us with care and kindness. We have also been seen by Dr. Nathoo, Dr. Cecutti and others who are all amazing. This is an excellent Family Care Centre and I highly recommend it. Xo

The short-haired receptionist is always rude and will make it as difficult as possible for you to get anything done - whether that be speaking with a nurse (who leaves voicemails regarding results or a message from the doctor), having reports sent to other doctors or requisitions emailed to you. She needs an attitude check.

The nurses are wonderful. Some doctors here dismissed my health problems.

Amazing experience with staff and receptionist with each visit. Very kind and helpful answering any questions you may have. They call a day before your appointment to remind you just in case you forgot. I show up for my appointments and in 5 minutes I'm taken in, hardly no wait time. Thank you everyone who works there, you are extremely appreciated.

Dr. Dawood provided great care, attention and patience during my most recent appointment for a shoulder issue. Especially during a time where I can imagine that doctors and nurses are swamped with patients, Dr. Dawood treated me with respect and answered all my questions without rushing me. Dr. Cecutti is an amazing Doctor who cares about his patients and will do as much as he can to help them. He puts in a lot of personal time as well to find out how to treat you. When it's beyond his scope of work he will refer you to great specialists to get treatment.

Anyone who says otherwise has no clue what they are talking about. He is the best Doctor in the Durham Region and should be given the respect he deserves.

My family doctor is Mirebrahimi. She is wonderful, she explains everything and is there to help. Sometimes you do wait longer but you know when it's your turn she will not rush you out and takes the time for you to understand everything.

Although sometimes the receptionist can be short and seem cold, for the most part I have had good experiences. The one nurse with dark brown hair that is very bubbly definitely requires a raise. She makes this place more joyful and is always empathetic with every patient.

A lot of complains on the staff with rudeness at the medical centre. They aren’t that bad and the doctor I have is a very professional and very helping doctor which I do give 5 stars for. What I don’t give any stars for is there organization skills over the phone. Called them on Tuesday for an appointment they told me Friday 2: 30 which I told my wife so I wouldn’t forget. Show up there at the time they told me only to hear “ya no not today it was Thursday” excuse me it was Friday I have it written down at my desk at work. Ya sorry make another one.make another one I took today off work to come and see the doctor for my medication that I do need.no no it’s you can see the walk in doctor that doesn’t know me to help? And wait 2 to 3 hours ya sure thanks for the waste of time get your office together and stop wasting peoples time.

I went to the walk in and was waiting patiently for over two hours to see a doctor. When I noticed that everyone was called in by the nurse and I was the only one left, I thought for sure that I would finally be next, until.a few more people came in for scheduled appointments, and then a few more until the place was packed again. The receptionist kept saying that I was next, for 40 more minutes. I had to leave as this wait made me feel worst than I went in.

What kind of clinic asks some patients to take off their dry shoes, walk down the dirty, salt covered hall and into a dirty cold room? Maybe you should provide slippers or shoes, because I have bad feet and have to wear shoes with support 24/7 while standing, oh, and now my socks are ruined. Also, my feet were freezing in the room without shoes because you left me there for 25 minutes. Glad Im not elderly.

Worst clinic I’ve ever been to. Rude staff, and this is the first doctors office I’ve been to that states you MUST take off your shoes to enter the office straight up ridiculous.if the floors get dirty how about you mop them and leave a caution sign instead of asking clients to remove shoes. Don’t even get me started on wait times either you can have an appointment and still be waiting an hour past your appointment time. Save yourself the time and most importantly peace of mind and go to another clinic.

When I checked in this morning at 9.10am I was told there were 13 people ahead of me. At 10.47 I asked again and there were 6 people ahead of me. I am not sure what math is checking 7 people in about two hours when there are two doctors on urgent care. The receptionist was pleased to see me leaving without getting checked. It’s my bad that I came her again the third time to leave with out getting checked.
Leaving the review to remind myself not to come here again.

I have been going to this walk in clinic for well over 20 years. The doctors, nurses and the staff at reception are all over worked and under appreciated.
We go into the walk in clinic because we are not feeling well, we want service and we want it now! When have you ever gone into a walk-in clinic and received this type of service! Never because the person that walked in 5 minutes before you expects the same thing!
When was the last time you thanked any of these amazing people for providing you with their service? How many rude and impatient people have they had to deal with before YOU? How many time have they dealt with contagious people, yes I know this is their job but seriously think about it for a minute!
You could always make an appointment with your family doctor and see them 3-4 weeks from now or you can go to the walk in clinic and wait like everyone else. Yes it may take an hour or even 5 but it is still better than having wait 3-4 weeks.
So suck it up and bring a book!

I was trying to speak and explain myself when I arrived for my walk in for my tb test for school and the lady at the front reception was so extremely rude when I was just explaining something to her telling me: Let me speak”.

Extremely rude receptionist lol, not warm or friendly at all.

Management should be reading these reviews and being careful of their staff.

Extremely Rude Secretaries who can't even do their job correctly. I've been with Dr. Cecutti for 33 years. I book appointments for my 2 kids for 20 mins each and have to wait 5 weeks+ and show up and had to wait 45 mins in the waiting room to find out they only booked 1 of my kids. Another time i waited 5 weeks (which is the minimum wait time for appointments) and showed up 17 mins late to be told to bad to late. I asked if i can see him for at least the second appointment since it hadn't started yet. I was told once again that they only book one of my kids.

Dr.micheals is my parents doctor. She is terrible has made comments about my 72 year old fathers weight calls him fat. He is 5'7 and weighs 145 lbs. My mother needed a referral to a specialist, it took the doctor four days to put her signature on the paper. At that point my mom was in emergency at the hospital. The receptionists are rude and uncaring, they should quit their jobs because they are clearly unhappy. I use to see dr.micheals when I was a teenager about twenty years ago she use to call me fat when I weighed 110lbs. I use to think she should look in the mirror herself. You shouldn't be calling a teenager fat. Worst bedside manner I've seen. My parents would leave if they could find another doctor.

Worst ever experience today, waited 3 months for my physical appointment with Dr. Mirebrahimi and when I showed up before noon for my 12pm appointment, I was told by rude receptionist lady that my appointment was 11.20, I told her that I got phone call and confirmation for 12pm appointment but she was rude and said IT'S NOT 12 YOU ARE LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT AND WE NEED TO RESCHEDULE YOU FOR SEPTEMBER APPOINTMENT, I got my health card and left, worst doctor off ice to visit, old tv always off, no newspaper or magazines to read, nurses there laugh and joke so loudly that you can hear all in waiting room. I feel the pain for patients here.

Went for my first time yesterday as a walk-in, 3 ppl were sitting b4 me then right after I sat ppl kept coming! Was super busy. Didnt wait too long and seemed to go by order! Had my daughter with me and they were very friendly with her! Glad my coworker mentioned this location. I totally recommend it!

This is my favourite doctors office out of all the ones I’ve been too in Whitby/Durham. The staff are so friendly! After leaving my family doctor because of her attitude, Dr. Dawood took me on as a patient and I’m so happy to have him. Yes, the walk-ins are a bit of a wait but it’s because the doctors here actually take their time with the patients and genuinely care about you. Yes, people come in for appointments and are taken before walk-ins but that’s the point of an appointment.if you are in serious need to see a doctor then go to the hospital where I guarantee you’ll be waiting 3x as long. No complaints from me, I love this place!

This has to be the slowest clinic I've ever been to. I have never waited less than an hour and every single person that is a patient goes ahead of you even if they are a walk in an hour after you

. I was confused by the request to remove my boots and walk down a cold dirty floor in my sock feet to the nurses station for a needle. Then return to a wet boot area and put my boots back on. My concern is a healthy and safety issue. What would have happened if I had fallen. I have buried metal in my ankle and balance can be an issue.

Dr micheal Ant.is the worst, she rushes her walk in patients and gets defensive when asked simple questions. She makes me dread going to the clinic but I still go because it’s the closet clinic to my house. The other doctors are nice.

Very bad service. The receptionists are rude. They dont understand there are 3 other walks opened in the same area. If you behave rude with the patients they will stop coming, This is 2019. These social media negative reviews spread like wildfire. If you treat your customers bad, they will go elsewhere and the clinic will only have doctors but no patients. I found a very nice in the Farm boy Plaza. North east corner of Garden and Taunton road. Walk in, very good behavior of the receptionist, very good service
