Recently visited Family Dental Care Downtown right before the New Year's and was totally impressed by their outstanding service. No sufferings received, haha:)

A special shout-out to Dr. Somani and his wonderful assistant Shree, who made my experience extremely comfortable. Their professionalism and caring nature truly stood out.

My appointment also included a cleaning session with the hygienist, Hoang, who showed a real dedication to his work. Hoang spent more time with me than I expected, ensuring a thorough cleaning process. It was evident that patient care is a priority here.

Both procedures I underwent, cleaning and fillings, were truly pleasant:) No pain or discomfort, almost no swelling afterwards which is a testament to the skill and expertise of the staff. The clinic has an entertaining and calming environment, making the entire experience relaxing and stress-free.

Dr. Somani deserves a special mention for his approachable and informative manner. He answered all my questions regarding dental care with the patience and clarity of a teacher, enhancing my understanding and making me feel more involved in my dental health.

Overall, my visit to Family Dental Care Downtown was an uplifting experience.
Good combination of a skilled team, a friendly environment, and a patient-centered approach makes this clinic a standout. Highly recommended for anyone seeking dental care.

The clinic and the staff are very wonderful, everyone is very nice and very professional. Last week I finished removing the caries.
I also did the cleaning. It was wonderful, I loved how careful he was about details, even the small ones thank you Dr Hoang Nguyen.

I’ve been using Family Dental Care services for 3 years now. The staff is always friendly, making the entire experience pleasant. The procedures are pain-free, and my hygienist communicates effectively throughout.

After dealing with some not so professional dental offices, I'm very pleased that I happened to find this place. The dentists and hygienists here are the most honest in the city and probably the hardest working as well. They look out for YOUR best interests, rather than try to get as much money out of you as possible. My only regret is not finding this place years sooner. The staff at this dental clinic are really wonderful. I returned to Ottawa recently and walked in to the clinic to book a teeth cleaning. They were able to book me in later the same day. My last cleaning was over two years ago, so I was a bit nervous about the condition of my teeth, but Huong, my dental hygienist, was AMAZING! He was fun to talk to and did a meticulously thorough job in cleaning my teeth. I appreciated how he also asked how I was doing during the cleaning considering I have sensitivity with some teeth. I highly recommend this clinic (they also offer direct billing to insurance).

Honestly, this is the best dentist I’ve been to. All the staff are so incredibly friendly and Dr. Bui is fantastic! He’s very understanding if have any dental anxiety and makes sure you feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience. I recently relocated to Ottawa and was looking for a family dentist. Found one and did not go so well, so I reached out to Family Dental Care. The service and experience was extraordinary. I will be staying with this clinic as they are professional, detailed and friendly. I would recommend anyone looking for a dentist or switching dentists to give them a call. 10 plus stars!

It's been a few years since I've gone to the dentist. Last time I went I had a bad experience so I was hesitant. But I needed and tooth extracted and Dr Gustavo and his team made me feel comfortable and went through everything with me very thoroughly. Ron is an incredible receptionist and I'm happy that I have found a new dental place.

Update: I've been seeing Dr. Bui now and he is so patient and wonderful. He takes the time to discuss whatever situation you are in and it's very reassuring. The whole team makes sure you are comfortable and I find that is important since sometimes visiting the dentist can cause some anxiety. Great reception from Zoe and appreciate the follow up to make sure if you are okay. Overall, great team and I would recommend it.

Dr. Bui and team do a wonderful job at taking care of my dental health! Very thorough, receptive to any concerns, and fully answers any questions I have. The reception desk is very friendly and professional as well. Great service!

I am so lucky and grateful to be a patient at this clinic. I first came here months ago due to an emergency. I had not been been to a dentist in many years and I was extremely anxious and feeling so much shame and embarrassment. The staff were genuinely kind and gentle and they were very generous and accommodating to my financial situation at the time. I went back to them as soon as I got dental coverage and every single staff interaction has been exceptional. Zoe (Reception), Maya (Hygienist), Heer and Mariale (Assistants), and Dr. Bui, each of them made an experience that I was truly terrified of feel like I was coming to see people who cared. My next visit is in six months and I teared up telling Dr. Bui how much their kindness meant. A dream team if there ever was one.

I am so happy I came here! I initially decided on Family Dental Care-Ottawa because of the location and the fact that they do direct billing. I totally lucked out by receiving the best care from Hwer and Dr. Bui.

I can get pretty bad anxiety about clinical settings. Especially after my dad passed away in the ICU this summer. The patient intake form allows you to specify (if your would like) any mental or physical conditions which allows them to give you the best care and they actually take time to review it.

I hadn't been to the dentist in 10 years and had some very pressing issues to deal with. They contiually checked in on to me ensure I was doing okay and I truly felt safe and secure. Not to mention they were very talanted, nice, funny and worked perfectly in tandem. The front desk staff were lovely too!

It's weird to say but I feel almost happy to be returning for some more work in a few weeks!

I called this morning I’m so much pain, they told me come in right away they will at least freeze me until they could see me and asked I be patient. I went filled in forms and two minutes later they saw me took my picture, exam, and within 30 minutes my tooth was out. Dr. Bui and the amazing assistant were SO great, beyond caring, and knew I was nervous but they went above for me. Highly recommend. Once I get on my insurance/benefits I will be back to get the rest of the work I need done by him.
