The most wonderful care I could have asked for with a very complicated labor. Having the midwives check in daily for the first week after giving birth was so reassuring for a first time mum. I can't recommend FMC enough!

The greatest medical experience of my life - the midwives provide very personalized, educated and thorough care. During labour it was especially beneficial.
I wouldn't change anything about my pregnancy or labour experience and I am certain it is because Family Midwifery provided us with such amazing care.

I don't know where to begin! The ladies in pod 1 made my pregnancy experience amazing. This was my first pregnancy and I was definitely worried over some of the smaller things but these ladies took the time to answer any and all questions and concerns I had. A special shout out to Heather for making my labour and delivery so smooth. I will definitely be going back with my next pregnancy!

We just finished our journey with Family Midwifery and it was amazing! Midwives were always very helpful on giving advice and listening to all our questions and concerns. One the best parts is that the appts are not rushed at all. This made me and my partner feel like we were actually being taken care of.

We had a wondetful experience, all the midwives were incredible, helpful, friendly, and supportive. So glad I decided to go with a midwife this time around. It was truly a great experience.

The POD3 midwives (Emily, Rebecca and Isomi) were super amazing and very helpful before and after the birth of our twins. They listened and answered all of my questions and were very knowledgeable. It was such a hard time saying goodbye. I'd recommend and use them again.

Being in the family midwifery care (pod 2) throughout my second pregnancy was the best decision I’ve made! They were so caring, supportive and overall amazing. Having the postpartum home visits was such a relief and they always made me feel comfortable and answered any questions or concerns I had. Definitely will be recommending to all my new mama friends and family!

Had an amazing experience with the midwives here. I was in pod 1 and everyone was so helpful, lovely and kind. We always felt supported and everyone had such good knowledge of everything. We were in amazing hands and will definitely go with midwives again. We recommend to everyone.

I had a wonderful experience with the Guelph Family Midwifery Care! Especially with Hailey in specific! But they are all wonderful people!

Their care was so powerful during the birth of our two daughters, that we now proclaim, 'HEROES! Every single one of you! ' every time we drive by the office. These midwives are absolutely phenomenal. Not only did my Pod 1 astonish me in their expertise, gentleness, personableness, and care, but for my first born's care I actually asked how much we owed them because I couldn't believe it was all free (it is, in case you're wondering). My team respected our decisions for our birth plans, and the lead up before hand. They knew the perfect amount of space to let my decisions be followed through, and when to gently push back for my safety and that of my children. Both of my daughters (separate births) were born safely and confidently into this world because of the care of these women. You could make one of the greatest decisions for yourself by choosing this Midwifery Unit to be a part of your life.

Pod 5 is an absolute amazing team! Being a young mom I felt nervous and scared,
after meeting with them I felt confident and respected! My labour and delivery was the best experience I am so thankful for them.

I had such a wonderful experience having my 1st and 3rd baby with Family Midwifery Care of Guelph (Pod 5). They made my pregnancy and birth journey such a wonderful experience and I wouldn't have changed it for the world! Thank you so much for being there for the birth of my babies! It was great experience with Family Midwifery care of Guelph. My two pregnancies were care by Pot 4, Megan and Jerren, both of them are beyond amazing! I don’t have any relatives here so their help is so supportive to me and my family.

I cannot recommend Family Midwifery Care enough! The Midwives from Pod 2 at Family Midwifery Care cared for me through both of my pregnancy’s and births. I feel so lucky to have found such encouraging, supportive, Midwives who took the time to explain and answer all my questions so I could make educated choices throughout both pregnancies and births. Choosing Family Midwifery Care allowed me the option to have a home birth, which I did for my second baby, while I chose a hospital birth for my first. After giving birth they visited us at home 3 times in the first week before transitioning to the postpartum clinic visits. They were also always available for urgent questions or concerns through the pager. Any non-urgent questions or concerns were often responded to within the day of emailing the clinic. I am so grateful for the care myself and my son’s received from these wonderful Midwives.

I highly recommend this clinic. Their midwives were very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They were also very flexible and supportive when I wanted to have a home birth last minute. I will definitely be returning for future pregnancies!

Family Midwifery Care is beyond what I could of ever hoped for through my first pregnancy. From my very first visit with Pod 4 (Megan and Jerren), I felt welcomed, educated and safe through my entire pregnancy. They answered any questions or concerns my husband or I had with knowledge and reassurance throughout my entire pregnancy and aftercare with our baby boy. Having access to a 24/7 hotline was another resource and comfort that as first time parents we benefitted from and never felt alone. My husband and I are beyond blessed and grateful for both Megan and Jerren for all their love, support and knowledge they gave us on this new journey. Thank you!

Best experience I could have imagined for my first baby. I was placed with pod 2 and I loved all 3 of my midwives so much! I felt so well taken care of and safe. Even when I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes they were well educated and made sure that baby and I were as safe as possible. I ended up giving birth to an average sized baby who is perfectly healthy. If I have more babies I will 200% be coming back to family midwifery care! Thank you ladies!
