Awful experience. The staff has favorites. Highly unorganized. Fail to followup with prescriptions. They bedside manner of bloated toads. Constantly doing referrals to avoid paperwork. They treat mental health issues like a revolving door for prescription dollars. Frankly the worst doctors and service I've ever experienced and I've been in third world hospitals. Do yourself a favor and find a different clinic. This one will make you sick to your stomach.

First of all they use the assistant to do everything and second I waited 30 mins for throat infection results after it's a viral infection not a bacteria infection so there for I just go home and sit and wait like I have nothing to do work and live daily life.feeling like sick and body pains no medicine working Tylenol no cough syrup nothing from pharmacy. Never knew I had to wait for viral infections but if it was COVID it's an infection and it's big deal.but I was negative but.there's no patient determined results nothing to tell you for better.ya cough syrup doesn't work.so doctor doesn't even want to say what would work terrible rude doctor she's terrible.the lady Dr. Makinde I rather other clinics unfortunately I went there because it's near my house.big waste of time and waste of my talking telling people what's wrong.it doesn't work when she barely even came to ask me what's wrong just read what her assistant said on the computer terrible terrible service.and I tried to talk to her she said I am trying to talk to the assistant I'm interrupting their conversation.she tried getting rude with me.mmmm I thought doctors supposed to listen to patients no matter what I don't know how she got a license but she's enjoying the good money for free honestly I even showed a picture of me coughing up blood but it doesn't matter she doesn't care.too busy trying to get money for seeing more patients.being rude dont work.ya alot of doctors gave me antibiotics without testing because they know what's wrong and I would NEVER GO WAIT AND SEE A DOCTOR UNLESS I AM REALLY SICK.thank you. I'm sure I will see another doctor they're way better go to Mississauga road clinic it's far but they listen to you. And they are much nicer because she was even being rude to assistant doctor.that assistant doctor she was nicer than the doctor listened to me.but anyways if you need a better doctor here's 9455 Mississauga road.thanks

I cannot say enough about this team of doctors! I moved out of Brampton a few years ago, but I have kept Dr Makinde and staff as my family doctors. Recently I had a medical issue that would not have been dealt with properly if not for this caring and amazing team, and I am over an hour away! They call regularly to check in and order appropriate tests, finding me appropriate services in my area. I recommend them to anyone looking for a quality team of professionals.

Very terrible service. The doctor seemed very incompetent. He wouldn’t refer me to a doctor because he was trying to avoid doing extra paperwork. Do not recommend this walk in clinic.

Every time I call no answer goto the office lt get prescription refill told to call make appointment but phon.es not working would not make appointment in person told me had go to pharmacy to fax for prescription did that 330 still nothing 5 pm call office freaked out need my cream this doctor office is pretty much useless for me

Not a walk-in, even though their ad and name clearly state they are. They only see you if one of their doctors is your family doctor.

This doctor should tear away and dump his degrees. What do they mean not accepting new patients. What if someone is dying. Doctors are to save people not sus about not accepting any patients. Wth.

I have been going to this clinic for many years now and have found them to be very helpful. Appointments are easy to get and hardly any wait times. Dr. Makinde is a great person who gives all the time and does not sound like he is rushed up like I have seen with other clinics before I came here. The clinic is conveniently located on Steels and the doctors here have been a blessing during the pandemic. God bless the team that works here.

Treated terribly, will not be returned, calls, they claim they called yet their number never showed up on my phone every, claim I spoke ignorantly to them, and that's not true. Was at the hospital and they told me they heard terrible things about this clinic, they made promises to help, and not once did they follow through with their promises. I ended up with a stroke and loss of sight, had they kept their word I would be okay and this is what the hospital told me about this doctor, about what they heard i am willing to take a lie detectors test

I went to this walk-in clinic today. The sign says no appointment needed. The girl at reception says they're not a walk-in clinic and I need a appointment.

Dr. O. A. Mankide have been our family doctor for over 2 years and as long as she and her family are in practice, we will continue to seek them for our health needs. Dr. Mankide is by far a dying breed of physician with rare abilities to get down to the meat of the issue and prescribe the regiment needed to improved your health. She have become the person that I can trust to look after the best interest of my children, she treat them as her own with love and compassion and her honesty is refreshing. In March my entire family contracted Covid -19 and let just say it was debilitating and painful. Dr. Mankide and her husband (Specialist MD) saved my husband. The hospital sent him home to die! They say that there is nothing that they can do for him. Diagnosis with Covid Pneumonia, struggling to catch his breath, chest pain, gasping and faint from migraines, disoriented, could not walk, stand, or even bathe on his own. I set an appointment with Dr. Mr. Mankide, because his wife was not available and immediately he prescribed antibiotic, a puffer and a rescue inhaler. You see, every member of my husband's core team at work died of Covid-19. They simply could not breath! My husband is alive today because of the Mankides! He too would be dead if it was not for my doctors. The team of admin is respectful, they remember your names and your families, and to be honest that front desk is really busy however, the team always take a minute to current event about the family. They are pleasant, approachable and not credited enough for the phenomenal work that they do. They are the glue that keeps everything tightly together! They are many sugar doctors out here, but when you want a fighter, seek out Dr. Makinde, she will not disappoint, she will not sugarcoat the issues, she will give you her best 150% of the time. Thank you Family Practice for your dedication to excellence, for you dedication to my family and saving my husband's life, I salut you! I am humble and grateful. Thank you!

Worst clinic ever! Doctors are lazy and they use covid as an excuse. They wanna do everything over the phone because it is easier for them. They do not care about your health problems. They will tell you that because of covid they cannot see you or help you.

My family has been attending in this clinic for at less three years and all staff are very kind, respectful and professional.

It is always inconvenient to have to go to a clinic, for whatever reason that you need to. I appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the clinic staff that continues throughout this pandemic.

They are friendly and shows empathy for their patients. And the Doctors know how to prioritize when there emergency.

Amazing Doctor and staff. When my grandmother was visiting from the US and needed to see a doctor, they took very good care of her.

I am a new patient here. I heard good reviews abouth this clinic and decided to join. I must admit I am impressed with the service I received especally from Cika. She treated me with kindness and really helped me out and made me feel welcome. The doctor was also amazing. Great place to come.

Unfortunately, there is not a -1 Star for the worst walk-in clinic I have ever been to. It was my first day there and they should have told me that it was going to take long instead they swiped the card. When I went inside there were 5 patients in front of me and it took them 2 and half hours to see me. My consultation took 10 mins and the female doctor wanted me to pay her $40 for 10 words on a piece of paper because she called it a special letter. Total robbery and terrible customer service. You can try it, but don't say you didn't know about their incompetence.

Do not waste your time with this doctor! Wait times are incredibly long even with an appointment. Doctor is very stubborn and does not listen to you at all. She quickly gives you any simple diagnosis and within 2 minutes you are out. Or she will simply say that you are fine and send you out to make more money with the next patient. Wouldn't recommend

I was there with my mum. We both enjoyed the services. She was given proper attention. I will recommend and visit again.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Anyone looking to sign up at her Dixie/Dundas location PLEASE AVOID. She is replacing ing my previous Doctor who has left this clinic permanently. When making an appointment I was asked the reason of my visit, which I specified at reception. On the date on the appointment (after waiting almost an hour) I finally went to see Dr. O A Makinde. She proceeded to introduce herself. After her introduction I specified that I am here for a specific reason to get medical assistance. SHE THEN PROCEEDED TO REFUSE TO GIVE ME SAID TREATMENT. Telling me this was only a "meet and greet to sign up". After wasting my time (taking off work) she escorted me to the hall and called the secretary to confirm that it was a "meet and greet" appointment NOT TO MENTION discussing the original reason for my visit LOUDLY in the hallway where other patients were waiting. ABSOLUTELY HUMILIATING. After this I walked to reception and notified them I would not like her to be my Dr. Receptionist said she would call me later. She called me back to say that the office will not be accepting me as a patient. I will me filing an official complaint with The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Absolutely unacceptable no patient should have to experience this.

Wait times are quite long especially if you go for walk in. Doctor is rather unprofessional as she didn't want to give me any medications or tests and kept on making excuses especially since I was a minor at the time. You could be sick and dying and the doctors will say that you are fine and will send you out so they can make money off the next patient. Wouldn't recommend.

They are extremely polite, from the receptionist to the nurse and all the way to the doctor. Wait time wasn't much. But over all they are very nice to their patient.
So far this is the best clinic in the entire Brampton.

I would give them a negative star. I am going to take action and report this place. I walked in the receptionist are pleasant ladies but that Doctors wow are something else. I had the old lady doctor from there she walked into the room and didn’t even greet me and to top it off she walked in with another lady did not even introduce the lady and tell me what she was doing there. That there was the first sign that it was going to go BAD! Then she didn’t even ask me what was wrong she said do you need a note? I had told her that yes because the last few days I was running a fever and I have been vomiting she said no I’m not going to give you a note she didn’t even do a check up she just went to go write me a proscription and didn’t tell me that’s what she was doing she started to talking in another language to the other woman and couldn’t figure out how to use the computer finally told me I’m writing you a proscription and I told her that I was not talking medication when she didn’t even check me and she said what do you want me to check! I am going to be talking further steps and report this she should not have her licence as a doctor!

Worst doctor eveeer. Don't go there.she doesn't care about anything but swiping your OHIP card.no manners.always running behind.even if you book an appointment you will be waiting for at least half an hour.she doesn't listen at all. I'm reporting her the ministry of health.

I even dont give them one star, i had a terrible experience with this clinic.my husband was having severe stomach pain and that is the reason we visited the clinic they even didn’t checked him properly and said its a gas problem and given medicine for gas. He had the medicine for 2 days and the pain increased. Because of the pain we went to another clinic and they said its ulcer. The doctor there are worst and inexperienced please avoid this place. Never ever visit this place again

I've been going here for over 5 years now and have mixed feelings about the place. Dr. Dautey is quite good and helpful and so is Dr. O. O. Makinde. The wait times can either be amazing or terrible, depending on the time of the day and luck. I used to wait a lot longer but feel it's been a lot better recently but I've been going at off-peak times for the most part.

The two older doctor's are not nearly as good as Dr. Dautey and Dr. O. O. Makinde. They don't take your concerns very seriously and seem to be set in their ways.

The reception staff are very hit or miss. Most are reasonably nice, but some are much better at their jobs than others... Most are also hard to understand, especially over the phone, because of their thick accents and/or soft voices.

Overall, lots of room for improvement but a decent place overall.

Today's visit to this place was terrible! After 2 hours wait I left without seeing doctor! I waited for 1 hour in the waiting area, which is OK - you prepared to wait some time in the walk in clinic. Then I was called in the examination room to be seen by doctor. 1 more hour in examination room! When I was about to leave I notices that all people that were in the waiting room at the time i was called in examination room were gone. And all of them came to clinic after me. Everyone was served but me! I was running out of time and I lost my patience. Never coming to this place again!

This clinic by far is one of the best I've been to ever since moving from Nova Scotia. I recommend all my friends and family here and I also bring my 4 year old daughter here. From the receptionists to the doctors, everyone is very compassionate and respectful to me and my family. Even though there's wait times, but that happens at all clinics and hospitals. I highly recommend every other individual to come here, just have patience and schedule your appointment where you have the time to take care of your health and not rushing!

I have been going to this clinic for several years now and I am pleased with the service. All of the receptionist are always very nice to me. Francika is one of the receptionist that I see there most of the time. She is always very professional, polite and pleasant every time I come in. She goes above and beyond to make your visit to this clinic a great one. I am always happy to see her when I have an appointment.
Also Dr. O. O Makinde is awesome. She is VERY patient and listens to your concerns. She never makes you feel like she is rushing to get you out of the office. She listens to her patients and is very caring. That is extremely important and always makes me feel at ease.

So I took a chance with this walk-in because it was at a convenient location, walked in and gave the two receptionists my health card and because I have the original card my ID with it. Filled out the forms and waited about 20 mins for them to tell me my card has been filled lost or stolen. I asked if they had put in the verification letter and they said yes. I was confused as the card has not left my wallet.they continued to offer me a deal at 75$ to see the doctor smh. I called service Ontario and my card was completely valid. The only reason it would of came up lost is if they did not type in the verification letter. Which I specifically pointed out. It must have been the first time they have seen a red and white health card because they looked at it like they had no idea what it was.probably best to hire people that have been in the country longer than 5 years

If I could give a minus star I would. Can't express how unprofessional the service is. How ridiculously long the waiting period was and kept being told "you are next" only to have 6 people. Once inside dr checks for 10 seconds steps out only to be spotted getting another patient and attending to him. At this point I had enough is enough and walked out.

I went today around 10 am. There was only one man waiting when I got here. One receptionist kindly informed me I would have to fill out a new patient form and hand it in to another receptionist to input me into the system as it was my first time here. No problem. The second receptionist saunters back to her seat as I'm filling out my form and helps a lady who has now walked up to the desk. I don't know what the patient needed help with, but the receptionist says "I'll finish with you in a min, I have to go to the bathroom" and walks away from the lady mid sentence! I get it, emergencies happen but the place wasn't busy and I've honestly never seen such an abrupt, rude attitude in the middle of "helping" a client. Needless to say I walked out, if that's how it is on the front lines when there's no one around, I'd hate to see the quality of service once one got in to see a doctor.

I have been a patient for 10+ years. Our family doctor pays very close attention to the details of bloodworks. She spots mild anomalies and doesn't leave anything to chance. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

If I could give a negative number, that's what it would be. The student nurse came in to the room first. She was very nice. She said she needed to diagnose my problem first. I had a rash on my ankle that was very itchy. She diagnosed this by googling it. She said it was a form of eczema. (Which I thought it was) The Doctor came in, looked at vaguely and said it was bed bugs. I'm not a Doctor, but I knew 100% this wasn't what it was. I asked, if it's bed bugs, why do none of my other family members or husband have it and why is it only on my ankle? She was very rude, and basically said that was her prognosis and to get an other opinion. I left there and went to another clinic. That Doctor, immediately said it was eczema. She laughed when I told her what the other Doctor had said. Also, she was shocked when I told her, she has her student nurses come up with a prognosis first. Never will I go here again. That Doctor is the worst I've ever been to.

Worst clinic I have ever visited so far. First of all it’s a walk in clinic and they give preference to appointment patients. Today I waited for 2 1/2 hours to see a doctor. This doctor was so rude and the staff also. It’s supposed to be walk-in clinic and if appointment patients show up than your waiting time increases. How is it fair? It’s better to go to hospital emergency because at least you know that there are no appointment patients ahead of you and you have to wait longer than expected. When your child is sick parents and child have been tested on their patience. This clinic is always busy on weekends and yet they have only one doctor on site to check appointment and walk in patients. Please have some manners to talk to your patients and don’t give advice to see another doctor after waiting for 21/2 hours. I don’t want to give even one star but this message cannot be posted without giving a star.

The regular doctor Is on maternity leave. But the replacement doctor is very kind and approachable. The wait was about 20-30 mins. I was in and out of his officevery quickly. Although I have not been to this office with the regular doctor who is usually there but the replacement doctor was very kind. Only con is that a Doctors note is $20, my usual family doctor doesn't charge for doctors notes but I suppose that is a rarity nowadays. I would return.

I wonder what is considered a major issue and a minor issue. It is relative to the patient isn't it? How inconvenient is it to help someone with 2 major issues? Isnt that something that should be worthy of attention? I think when persons wait approx 2 hours, even with an appointment, they want to get all their issues addressed in order to avoid coming back repeatedly. I love my family doctor, I think SHE is great but I am hardly able to access her around my schedule, leaving me to be assisted by others who are.
Reception is no issue for me they are usually nice unlike feedback expressed by other persons. That sign telling persons to limit their issues tries to dictate ailments out of a patients control. How is this justified? After waiting an hour or more in the reception area, you are sent in a numbered room for over another half an hour wait. You are then given 5 mins of attention and quickly ushered out (my family doc excluded). Yet after all that waiting and inability to complain.please ensure your medical issue is convenient. Smh.

The people in this clinic work very hard for their patients. The staff are friendly and our Doctor is amazing. Been going here for two years now and the wait times are amazing compared to how long I've waited at my former Doctors clinic. Lab is onsite and in the Walmart with lots of parking. I recommend this place.

Extremely rude and disrespectful doctors and receptionists at this location. Please do not waste your time coming to this clinic; the doctor brushes off and ignores the concerns of the patients and simply does not provide any sort of help whatsoever. Extremely poorly run clinic, easily the worst in the GTA.

I love my Doctor but the receptionist screws up my appointment time I show up at the the time they insisted just to be told they made a mistake. So I am almost 4 hours early and I don’t drive. I went home and because of a medical condition could noy get back. So who gets charged for the missed appointment.yep me 30 dollars because they made a mistake. Like I said I love my doctor but this clinic seems to be about the money only. My daughter has also experienced admin errors like appointments not being booked. Somethings got a change people.
