Family Shawarma & Falafel

Delicious food, good quantity, fair prices, good people. Will keep going. I have ordered a total of 6 different meals here all together, and I’ve found the meat quantity and quality perfect! The chicken is very juicy! And all workers have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable, always making sure to clarify and ask questions about what I want on my order, and giving friendly smiles. Not everyone speaks English as their first language, but they go out of their comfort zone to serve me in a professional way. I notice a real community circulates here too.:)

Very, very average. I had a mix shawarma plate. Meat was dry and portions rather small. No hummus comes with the plate, also no parsley/tabbouleh so the taste is just meh. Not going to come back as there are better options out there.

I ordered 2 shawarmas without tomatoes and hot sauce and they gave me tomatoes and hot sauce, they clearly mixed up my order with the people before me. At other Shawarma places they specifically understand that I don’t want Hot sauce or tahini or other sauces but here, they mixed up my order and it led my tongue to being itchy.

The best tasting shwarmas in town at excellent prices. Feed a family of 6 adults for $40 taxes included buying 6 sandwiches. Each one was made to order with additions, subtractions and extras. Like beef and chicken? Just ask for 'mixed' to get both.

If I could give zero stars I would. The old location always had fresh pita, veggies & chicken/beef. Their new location is terrible. They lowered the quality of the meat. Also, business is really slow, they don’t have as much customers therefore, causing the meat to stay for days and you can tell as well from the veggies as they’re all looking saggy and if you pay attention their colour is also dull. I asked the person working, why the meat and vegetables looked like that and his answer was “if we were to throw everything that got a little old we wouldn’t be in business” as he was mixing very old looking meat with new one. He literally said I don’t understand the shawarma business when I mentioned that other places like tasty shawarma just a few blocks had line ups of customers because they serve fresh food and include extra sauce and even fries in the sandwich for free.

Accommodations: ZERO, since you have to pay for every little thing

It’s very unfortunate what happened to this place. But like all things, every good thing comes to an end I guess. I truly believe they’ll have complaints to the health ministry over food poisoning and that’s the only thing that would prevent the owner from trying to save every little penny at the health expense of his loyal customers.

Older guy behind the counter was super friendly to everyone speaking Arabic, but wouldn't even speak or make eye contact to me. Your price to portion ratio isn't good enough to get away with that - I'll just keep going to Tasty Shawarma instead.

Got the shawarma plate, the chicken was a bit dry and the portion size was quite small. The garlic sauce was good.

I ordered a chicken & beef shawarma wrap. It had very less & dry meat & was only filled with sauces & veggies. I had some heart burn after trying it and I didn’t even finish it. One of the worst experience I ever faced & it felt disgusting. The food doesn’t feel fresh & only tasted the sauces. Complete waste of money. Would never go or recommend any.

I used to come here all the time but the service and quality has really declined over the years. The price has gone up and they are very stingy now.

If you order a shawarma bowl with fries, all you get is meat and watered down sauce on top. They even charge you to add a freaking tomato slice!

Other places give you the exact same toppings that you get on a regular plate. They can’t even give you a small pinch of lettuce. Like c‘mon.

Not going to be returning.

I was a fan since 2014. When they moved from Sheppard Av to the new place I was super excited they are still around with their great product. But.after covid looks like they don't care anymore, complimentary pita is gone when you order a plate, portions shirked to half at least. Lettuce forget about it (unless you up for fight with the guy), tomatoes are green, meat is dry and reheated. I wont recommend this place to anyone.

I had to wait 50 minutes for 2 shawarma and fries to be delivered. Restaurant doesn't have a voice mail recording. I am so not ordering from here.

I had to microwave the food and was not "that happy" about it. Called Skip the dishes, was refunded 1/2 of the amount.

If you guys don’t know how to talk with your customer please do training for that. If you guys don’t sell halal please just say no and if you do say just yes.

My go to place for falafel. The best thing is they fry fresh falafel every time for the sandwich. Really love the flavours.

We have been loyal to this shawarma place for many years, and they used to be very good, the only place we would go to. Not anymore, the cost went up, and the portions went down.even with the lettuce, let alone the meat, they were stingy! I understand inflation and all of that but the wrap we got was just.disappointing and and isn't the same anymore.we won't be returning.

Always a good place for budget food that doesn't disturb your stomach. We're repeat customer for their chicken shawarma sandwiches.

Worst! Worst! I order chicken on rice and its cost me $20 on uber eats and i got little bit of rice and 4 to 5 small chunks of chicken with one spoon of sauce on top worst experience ever

Horrible food, not prepared well, bread very dry, portion of food not equal to what they charge. If they want business they must improve.

This place is rated high for no reason. While the food is okay, the customer service is horrible. With no “hello and how can I help you” the guy gives you a death stare and you should guess his question. Thought he had a bad day, but no, same attitude every time. Not coming back.

Small clean restaurant. The chicken was excellent. Good flavour and a little bit crispy. Straight forward and simple. The fries were made to order and were hot. The hot sauce was just okay.

Worst customer service. The server acts as if he's giving away food for free. Doesn't know how to behave.

Hidden gem. Try some add ones in your wrap.
Seen a lot of people taking the bulk orders out.
