Fancy Kafana Restaurant & Bar

Place was nice but waitress weren’t as friendly & food was on shortage because I wanted to order a steak but had to choose another order instead so I got a seafood linguine instead and I wasn’t impressed by the presentation. I’m a female as well and didn’t get a good vibe from the female waitresses as well.

The ceaser salad my girlfriend got was dreadful and the garlic bread was rock hard. The Trieste chicken dish was great though! Seems like a place that specializes in the meat dishes.
We had to wait a while for our food, and our server needed to be prompted to bring the group water.
All in all, good experience, but not a great or exceptionable one.

Have come here many times for food and music. The food this last time was absolutely outstanding in taste, temperature, as well as presentation. I made a substitution and the dish came just as I wanted it. Some call-outs on suggestions what to try here are grilled calamari, vegetables that are always made al dente as I like it and gurmanska pljeskavica. The lepinja (bread) today was crispy on the outside with just the right amount of kajmak. Just a very delicious meal.

The waiters were attentive, friendly, and assured that I had everything that I need. Would refill water whenever my glass was empty.

Overall, Fancy Kafana is a gem of a restaurant in the not so luxurious geographical area. One final thing that is worth mentioning is that the prices are very decent especially for the value that you get. This could be your quick lunch spot, or a nice date outing. The atmosphere of the restaurant caters to casual but also to a more upscale dining experience.p. S.there is also a cozy patio during the warm months.

Beautiful decor! Food is fresh and prepared from scratch by their chefs. Fried calamari are to die for. Not greasy at all! Fancy burger has the tastiest piece of meat ever. And of course palacinke for dessert:)

This is now my most favourite restaurant in Mississauga. The service is top notch, food is tasty, and amazing atmosphere. I highly recommend it. Try the beef and lamb meat balls, and the classic Shopska salad…both made so well!

Food was good, we got the meat platter for 2 which allowed us to try various things. The meat was seasoned very well and cooked perfectly. Wine was very good and poured generously, which we love! A younger man was our server and was just wondering! He was very helpful and genuine. Unexpectedly there was live Serbian music, it ended up being a great night with some dancing!

The grills here are so yummy, juicy and tender, plus the live music, everything is perfect.

Excellent serbian authentic restaurant with serbian food and drinks. It has amazing live music in some evenings. Highly recommended.

The ambience doesn't appear very traditional to Serbian culture but the food is very traditional, fresh, and delicious. The Chevaps are amazing here, will definitely be back to try other stuff here too!

I came on a not too busy day so not too many staff and got the mixed grill. The meats were very tender though not much seasoning (other than salt) which is very much the style. The portion size was excellent and the food overall very fresh. Lots of meat. The schnitzel was a standout, if you have to order anything, get the schnitzel. It's filled with a delightful cheese. Service was surprisingly slow given the lack of customers but there were a decent number of takeout orders.

First time here for dinner & we came with a large group on a weekday evening. The service was phenomenal, our waiter catered to our every need and insured everyone was satisfied. The platters for 4 were gigantic and had so many options for everyone. What really stood out were the mussels, shrimp, and slices of meat. On Friday & Saturday they have live music at night time which is really cool. Would definitely come back for a large group gathering.

Amazing food. Not oily like other Balkan restaurants in the city! Waiters are amazing and vibe is wonderful. Can’t wait to be back!

Excellent place and atmosphere to enjoy your meal. Food is truly scrumptious, tried a few different dishes and everything was very professionally cooked and served. The staff was very friendly and fast. Highly recommended!

An excellent customer service, delicious seafood and traditional meat. Owner is an amazing and kind person, he works with his staff to give everyone great experience and service.

Every time i go on Fridays or Saturdays i have a great time singing and dancing with dear people and i am happy this place exists. On busy evenings with live music best is to call ahead of time to reserve the table ot always find a spot at the fancy bar. Food is extremely tasty, and portion size is just right - my favourites are salmon and Cevapi.
