I have a CRA matter and was doing my research for a Tax Lawyer or Accountant. I had a few referrals but with my research I decided to contact Farber Tax Solutions. The process was very simple by calling the office or sending an email. I had a free telephone consultation with James Bell. He took his time and explained everything in details, what I should do and don't do, my chances of getting what I wanted and most of all his opinion. He's the best out there and I have done my thorough research. Most of all he's not a person who will promise you something which he knows the chances are slim comparing to what others do. Truth be told I had my initial meeting back
In June with farbar tax and it took me couple Months to actually get around to write this review…. I had the most greatest/amazing experience. I was at my lowest point not knowing what to do or what to expect as I was stuck in a very rare situation. However after speaking with farbar (James and team) their honesty, integrity, empathy, their approach, communication and understanding by far was absolutely great they gave suggestions and options and referred me to their sister company which then immediately contacted me after my initial phone call and they took over and handled pretty much everything

Read the contract carefully.
No refunds upon signing the agreement no matter what the outcome
They promise or guarantee nothing.
The only thing that they commit to is to represent you for a given period of time.
I paid for 6 months representation and I received nothing at the end.
They closed my contract stating that the time was up and that my wife was the reason that they could not secure a repayment agreement with the CRA. You can download a form for interest and penalty relief right off the CRA website FOR FREE!

You said you spent 107 hrs of "work" on my file and you also said that April was the reason that an agreement could not be obtained.
Well, which is it?
If you spent 107 hrs on this then April obviously didn't prevent you from working and if she did, then what could you possibly have done for
107 hrs?
Either you are lying or your are incompetent.
Either way, it is simply dishonest and you are not to be trusted

Tax problems are scary. The one I have is no exception. An error at the CRA put me owing many thousands of dollars in taxes, which was clearly wrong. But, being that this was a huge amount, we thought we might need help. After sending in a request on the Web form, we quickly got an appointment.

We met online, via webcam with Mr. James Bell. He is professional, respectful and very knowledgeable, with loads of experience. He is also not intimidating and seems very kind.

We got enough information from our consultation to know we should simply file an objection, as there was obviously an error. This should solve the issue. It was just a knowledge issue, a matter quickly understood by real tax professionals, such as Mr. Bell.

I think Mr Bell saved my life, because even though we could have simply filed the objection, we were assured that there had been an error, and I'm not stressing (for maybe a year while we await a response) about potential loss of years of work due to some random clerk's error at the CRA.

This is a Chinese scam. Do not trust them; do not go there. They are for cra and against you as they sell your information to cra and credit bureau. Do not trust their website. Very bad. Someone needs to find hitmen to wipe these scammers.

On their website Farber Tax Solutions (FTS) writes: “You don’t have to face the CRA alone”. My audit had gone totally wrong, and the two accountant offices and the one lawyer I had hired did not come along side me, leaving me actually feeling quiet alone with a huge amount in CRA penalties. By coincidence I found FTS on the internet and soon I got in touch with Khalid from Farber Tax Law (FTL), who offered help with the appeals process, and adviced to go to tax court should the result of my objection be negative. It seemed to make sense to hire an office with a huge amount of CRA experience. Although far away from where I live, with a three hour time difference, I decided to hire these experts I had found online, to help me with the objection to the high CRA penalties I was facing. Right from the start Selena Ing took charge of my file, and later in the process she was assisted by Felix Wu. We connected very well and regularly over the phone and via email. Soon I realized Selena and Felix were working well into the late evening hours on my behalf. I was always updated on every step of the appeals process and was asked for permission to use all the detailed information they could find to help my case. Don’t even bother calling if you can’t afford the $4500 starting fee. I asked for guidance and help.was told there was nothing they could do on the assumption I can’t pay.

I had some CRA tax issues. This was quite overwhelming so I decided to reach out for help. I called Faber and was very pleased with their professionalism and the respect they showed me. BE VERY VERY CAREFUL IF YOU PLAN ON USING THIS COMPANY. This is a portal company for A. Farber Trustee in Bankruptcy. Trustees actually represent your creditors so in fact, these guys are going to be handing all of your information over to CRA and worst of all, they charge you for it and use it against you in court. Definite scam IMHO. If you want to confirm this, call ANY other tax law firm. I would NEVER use them again. VERY VERY COSTLY!
