Farm Boy

I rarely review unless my experience is exceptional. This review reflect my disappointment. I have been shopping at FarmBoy for many years. Since Sobeys took over, the quality has decreased significantly and consistently. Leave it to big business to cut corners until it starts to affect the bottom line. Another unfortunate example.

What happened to farm boy? Used to be reliable for a quick meal. I have a had a few stale sandwiches, peanuts which were the same as generic, roasted red pepper soup that was like reflux and bacon corn chowder soup full of the parts of the bacon you throw away.kind of giving up on them

Come here several times a week to get my lunch during work. Location is clean, staff is super friendly & helpful. Highly recommended

I've always liked Farm Boy for their fresh produce and meats. I noticed this week that they no longer make their flat bread sandwiches with real turkey and chicken. They now make fresh sandwiches with processed meat on a bun. I guess the Sobeys influence is taking over after all.
I'll find somewhere else to get my fresh sandwich.

I love Farm Boy. Never been able to find coconut chunks anywhere else. The Farm Boy branded items are always so delicious. No lines, obvious entry and exit points and wonderful, friendly staff.

Friendly professional Staff. Sometimes gets pretty busy but everything's always well managed. Good shopping experience here

Fresh food, good service, lots of variety, outside parking can be a pain, but with some patience you will find a spot. Better yet if you live near by walk.

Parking at this location sucks but like at most farm boys. Produce is fresh, store is clean and staff are friendly and helpful.

Probably my fav location in Ottawa. The staff is very friendly and the shelves are always fully stocked. I absolutely love the sushi and fresh pizza made here!

The store is great for fresh and healthy food. I appreciate the vegetables and fruits are locally grown

Unfortunately we have recently noticed a considerable drop in quality at our local Farm Boy store in Ottawa. The produce in particular is often not up to the standard that we had become accustomed to at Farm Boy. I have had to return spoiled items to the store and find it more difficult to sort through the displayed produce at the store to find good quality. I wonder if this has anything to do with the recent change in parent company of the store?

Love this place! Hot self service is great and fresh! Perfect pizza in front of you! The carrot cake is amazing the salads are fresh!

Always nice fresh fruits and vegetables! Fresh soups meats all kinds of food here! The prices are now the same as grocery stores! Wish I had one in Aylmer!

Good experience there today. No wait for a checkout even though the store was quite busy. Friendly checkout staff who efficiently bagged my groceries for me. Parking lot can be a bit crazy, but otherwise I like this location.

Great selection and reasonably priced. High quality products and produce. Their customer service is also exceptional. The staff have always gone above and beyond.

Have to watch the prices on some products, as they can get quote pricey. Otherwise, this place is fantastic! Tried their pizza made on-site for the first time tonight, and it was delish (both the regular crust and the GF cauliflower crust).

Best grocery store by far. The atmosphere is amazing and all the food here is high quality stuff. Things are easy to find which is helpful for if you need to just grab a couple things, and it doesent get tiring for longer trips either.

We wish to thank Tim from the Mcrea store who has been juggling all the turkeys and ham THANKGIVING orders. We placed an order sometime ago but a tragic situation arose within our family and we could not pickup up at the Westboro location. It was after the orders were closed off. Upon calling the store we were put in touch with TIM who graciously arranged for our order to be pickup at your 10th line store near my sister! He was so accommodating and gracious about making a change. THANK YOU “TIM”: and FARM BOY!

This is my go to grocery store. I find they have the best selection, they also sell beer and have a cute spot upstairs where you can dine. Can’t go wrong with something from the hot bar or salad bar.

Farm Boy on McRae Avenue in Westboro is stacked with all the choice and service that come to make the retail chain one of Canada's great successes. Fresh food, great salad bar choices and prepared foods always bring customers back. The store includes a few tables for customers to use for their take-out food, and the store provides good parking and access for special needs. Good find.

I've had some decent experiences here, but recently had a very negative one. Paid $6 for this "hummus" wrap, but no hummus to be found. It's been over a week and still no reply to my customer service emails.

One of my favourite grocers in the area. Great produce with reasonable prices. They also have some real quality items at higher prices. Great spot to grab a quick lunch also

As one of the newer Farm Boy locations in Ottawa this one has a more extensive selection of almost every type of food-produce, seafood, bakery.

They even compensate for the limited outdoor parking with enough to time to shop free underground parking.

Produce is excellent; staff are educated and helpful, and cashiers actually help you with bagging. And know how to bag, equally important.

Great location with a lot of fresh food and produce. The hot bar and salad bar are two of the best features here. It's always busy during lunch with the office crowd.

Parking is not easy here, but you get 90 minutes free in the underground parking if you spend more than $10. It's a good deal most people don't know about.

My favourite place to do my meal prep shopping! Sometimes a little hard to find staff is my only issue.

This store is awesome.i love farm boy because the customer service is so friendly and real.they insist (politely) to pack your bags for you.the staff working on the floor are always kind.now that im eating plant based, i find a good selection of vegan food, including the hot food buffet!

Lots of vegan options. High end meat dairy cheese. Hot bar and salad bar is exceptional with best quality of food. Customers are greatly appreciated

Quick checkout lane. The downside is that this store has very limited organic veggies. Not the place to go to for organic.

Parking is very tight upstairs. There is underground parking but it's still tricky to get in and out sometimes as traffic easily jams up quickly in that parking lot. The food is really good quality and they have lots to offer. If you've never been inside you should probably make a special trip to see what I'm talking about. I live the fresh baked cookies. They have mini ones! Fresh stir drys made infront of you. Chicken, beef or tofu with lots of veggie options. Soups of the day, lots of hot plates, meals to go, this location is alot smaller but it still has variety. They pay attention to detail in so many aspects and the farmer raspberries are huge and juicy! A must go to for the whole family.

We love Farm Boy. The produce and fresh food are great. Lots of choices and always good. This is our go to place for all fresh produce. Highly recommend it.

Very clean, organized, huge variety. Good hot bar/salad bar options. The only business like this where I have received such exceptionally professional customer service.

The variety is great at this location but the space is very tight. I had a hard time navigating well without feeling a bit claustrophobic.
