Can always find the best produce at Farm Boy.
Sadly they've started stationing security guards. I guess it's cheaper than helping people.

The cooked chicken breast are the best, well cooked, skin done very well
Moist inside, just wow

They will have good deals from time to time. However, this location is very cluttered. The layout has changed in a negative way since I worked there. It used to be more open.

Felt unsafe in the store, security brandishing a weapon for no reason. Was a really bad shopping experience…

Sat out on the patio, with a few people. There was a couple who needed a table, and we were happy to shift over to give them a table of course! But the worker came up and stated that this area was for “farm boy customers only” (this was after we had purchased items and were enjoying them on the patio). After I told her we are customers and we were more than willing to share tables, she rolled her eyes and just walked away. Not a very good experience today…

Always has fresh food and produce. It may not be the cheapest place to shop but the quality of the available products can't be beat. In house prepared food is top notch for flavor and convenience.

Great fresh fruits and vegetables also salad bar and hot sides, freshest food I've found in the brittania area

Please bring back mixed fruit salad, not sure why you stopped

Also, bring back grilled chicken to the deli-bar.

I have to agree with an earlier reviewer that this store has gone downhill since the chain was sold. Prices are rising even faster than they are at Loblaws. Produce quality seems mediocre. I don't shop here nearly as often anymore, and oddly enough, to a large extent it's because of the sandwiches! I used to come here to pick up 3-4 salmon salad and egg salad sandwiches and end up spending another $75-$100 just because everything was so fresh and the staff were so nice. The sandwiches used to feature high-quality multigrain bread and generous portions of filling, and they came in folded cardboard packages with a little cellophane window. No more. The bread is bland and cheap, the filling is the volume of a pingpong ball, and the container is, yep, all plastic. My FB spending has decreased by 2/3 or 3/4. RIP, FB.

Good selection of fruits and vegetables plus baked items but store is smaller than most and parking can be tricky

Not used to this farm boy, so hard to find what I was looking for. Don't like the layout. Service was great and it was clean

I love Farm Boy, but this location consistently disappoints my family. More times than not we have bought, produce, fish, baked goods, sauces, organic coffee cream, cream cheese, and peanut butter past their expiry. Simply our image of this location is 1 star, based on inconsistency and the vast amount of past due or expired items they keep on the shelf. We really hope the management can do something about this to improve the store. We would love to come back and tell a different story.

Literally the sweetest staff, and the manager there is fair about prices. If there are problems with the food they address it and even have given me a percentage off for slightly damaged items. Thank you! Your kindness is not forgotten.

Found a piece of white hair in Hoagie-chicken guacamole sandwich that I bought for lunch This sandwich cost me $8.99 without tax.please wear hair net when making food for customers.

Beautiful selection of greens, grains and meats and a friendly staff.
I like shopping at FarmBoy because its just food. They need to up their Grapefruit game though as the ones at Metro are always tastier.

Terrible customer service. Shop at the new Metro instead, far better service and actually has good prices. Hopefully this store goes bankrupt.

Fresh produce, meat, dairy and baked goods. Many locally sourced items to choose from. Since the expansion, there are many new items as well. Always a very clean and inviting place to shop.

I came here at 20: 30 on a Saturday, only to be met by someone who closed the door on me, telling me to check the hours since they closed an hour prior. The hours were not listed anywhere on the storefront and the hours listed online were consistent with what I had seen earlier: 21: 00 close. Next time verify that your hours are correct before you confront your customers so rudely.

Can always find the best produce at Farm Boy. I wont buy from anywhere else. They've recently expanded and offer more variety of items.

This is a relatively small Farm Boy. It's bright, clean and never busy. The produce is excellent as you'd expect. But it doesn't carry many items that are standard at other locations because it doesn't have the space.

Love the variety of fresh produce. Good prices. The swinging monkey was really fascinating to my little one

Not the largest FB and lacks some of the great things other locations have. That being said still a solid location with friendly staff.

Always a huge fan of farm boy! Fresh veggies, fruits and meats. They have a lovely sandwich and salad bar too! I really enjoyed the roast beef sandwich my boyfriend bought us for a picnic lunch at the lake next to Brittania Beach (I forget the name hahaha).

They have great individual lunches and breakfasts is there in the morning if you want to stop you're going to work great place big breakfast small price courteous and friendly staff can't beat it

Great small location with amazingly kind, friendly and well informed staff. Only reason my review is not 5 stars is that the dried/preserved goods are placed speraticly around the store instead of one section, making me have to go to parts of the store that wasn't necessary for me.

This is a smaller location but they always have a great selection of food. Everything is very fresh. The staff is extremely helpful and kind.

Haven't stopped in a while as we try to do all our grocery shopping in one store and we forgot how good this place is. I was going to run in and just grab some ground beef that was on special but ended up with 3 bags of mostly fresh produce as it's so much better than the stuff from the large chain stores. The grapes were large, crisp and very sweet. Everything was great even the friendly young man who checked me out.

Great staff but this is the second time that I bought fruits at this specific location and when I took it home it was spoiled. Each time I returned it with no question but the principle behind the trust of the quality is important to me and I decided not to go to this location any more.

I love coming to this location. It's wheelchair accessible, and it's easy to reach the things that I need. The staff are very friendly and help you out when they can.

The only thing is that when it gets busy, it gets really busy!

Great selection, friendly cashier - visitors aren't the most aware/best at maintaining social distance in this smaller location though.

Short line up. Only 35 ppl at a time! They will sanitize the cart while waiting. Hands down best place for one stop shopping. Staff are polite and friendly, nice people. The shoppers are very aware of spacing and don't try to get in your space.

Smaller Farm Boy. Doesn't have as wide diversity of items as other Farm Boys. Also, the customer base do not follow the flow of the store. Everyone is just everywhere.

A smaller Farm Boy compared to the other ones around town. Therefore, the selection is not as great but it does carry the essentials.

Always enjoy going to Farm Boy. I try to stay away from buying the jujubes at the checkout aisle but not always successful!

Shoppers are gradually learning what one-way flow means but even today one shopper was oblivious to the direction markings. Farm Boy has created more prepackaged bags for some produce items so there is less handling by customers. Staff are pleasant and courteous in spite of the pressures the new work processes must cause.

I love having a neighborhood grocery store. Small enough that you can go in for a couple of things and be out quickly. Produce is fresh and the prepared meals are good in a pinch.

Love being back in the region and supporting local. Staff are friendly and attentive. And the quality of produce is what I remembered. Fantastic.

I was here at 430 today to pick up dinner and the entire hot bar was closed, despite a big sign right on top saying hours were 4 to 7. I saw a worker scrubbing all the pans in the back. The store was packed, I was certainly not the only customer looking for a quick hot meal to serve my family on a busy Friday night. Extremely disappointing I will visit my tried and true blossom park farm boy location from now on they never do this and disappoint their customers.

Decent selection of fresh produce but the prices are a bit high. Oftentimes the berries are moldy or very close to being moldy unfortunately. Their name brand products are really good and that pay-by-weight buffet is always tempting because everything looks so good.

This is a review for this location, only, for reasons that will be evident in a moment.

First, this really should be a 5-star review. When I have questions, the staff walk me to the section and find the exact product I'm looking for, which is fantastic service. Cash registers move at a good clip. Their produce is simply on another level above other grocers around Carling Ave.

My knock, however, is that it is soooo much smaller than some other Farmboy locations. That affects product selection, meaning I can't make them my one-stop for high quality groceries. It also creates parking problems, since demand is still high. Here's hoping they can acquire some new space and expand!

I love this farm boy. Clean, good produce and helpful employees. Everyone looks genuinely happy to be there which makes the shopping experience that much better.

The only downside is that it is an older, smaller store that does not have some of the amenities that, say, the Westboro store has to offer.

I will always choose this store over any other when I am shopping for fresh produce

Great people service is excellent but check the dates on the bread today a couple of loaves at past dates or expiration tomorrow the loaf I found is good until Dec 25

I love the free samples randomly through out the store. Also there in store salsa is my favorite. Can't beat there bakery so many great things

I just do. They have a takeout Buffet, lots of fresh produce, many organic items, just an overall healthy grocery store type place.

First time there and the fruit and veggie are so fresh and nice! The deli counter is so full and they have great ready made food

Farm Boy in Lincoln Fields is stacked with all the choice and service that come to make the retail chain one of Canada's great successes. Fresh food, great salad bar choices and prepared foods always bring customers back. The store includes a few tables for customers to use for their take-out food, and the store provides good parking and access for special needs. Good find.

For the hungry, busy professional who would rather spend $30 on a prepared meal and a bagful of choice groceries than $50 on a steak and a beer someplace.

Over priced. Checkouts are abysmal. Often the food is stale or gone bad. I don’t know why I shop there.

Always great food here, and exceptional customer service. It is a small store, so it doesn't have everything the larger stores have, but it has what we need. Rideau Bakery rye bread is absolutely delicious; so thankful Farm Boy was able to save it!

Farm Boy is my go to for decadent gluten free desserts (so many options), fresh salad that somebody else chopped, healthy drinks, fresh fruit and crackers and dip!

It's smaller than other Farm Boys in Ottawa. But the folks are nice, and it's convenient for the Britannia area. Good selection of products. But they do move stuff around.

Occasionally difficult to find standard veg Thai agent organic, staff is always friendly, overall pricey.
