Worst company ever to work with, terminated without cause. They are terminating people so that they don't have to pay the remaining amount. I was supposed to get 5k at the end of 2 years contract but just 3 months before, they ended my contract. I won't recommend joining FDM to anyone.

FDM has really helped me to advance my career. I’ve been with them for a little over two years, and they’ve really helped with my ongoing learning and professional development.

Totally unprofessional

The HR gave me a date and time for a phone interview last Friday. When the day arrived, I've waited hours for my phone interview. The next day, I sent an email and I even called to HR representative to no avail. Talking about wasting my time and money. Very untrustworthy.

Very unprofessional. Please don’t decline and reject the calls when a candidate calls back for a follow up. At least have a common courtesy to pick up the call. You can do a better job with the HR.

They took an interview and sent the email you are selected and will let you know the joining date after month I did not heard anything from them so I sent an email for update and they said they have no longer requirement. I waste my whole one month and I loose another opportunity in between
Waste of time

FYI their contract severance fee is illegal, so feel free to resign anytime during the 2-year tenure.

No one answers the phone. If the company doesn't want to respond to the queries then why make such tall claims about helping the community etc.

FDM alumni here. It's been 3 years since I completed my two year contract with FDM. How the contract works is you are stationed at a client firm basically as a contractor. There is no involvement with FDM afterwards except HR and payroll. Today I have asked FDM for my employment verification letter, to include where I was stationed at. Apparently based on FDM's policy, the letter will only state you being employed at FDM and will not disclose details on you stationed at the client's company. In addition, the client company which you worked for two years, will not verify your tenure either. So in your resume, you can technically only state your employment at FDM. You cannot state you worked at a client's company such as a bank. So if you are trying to get industry experience through FDM, well, this won't work for you. Get away from this company at all cost! There are far better agencies than this. Not to mention the two year slavery contract.

Pathetic company. Had a Business analyst interview, the interviewer came in 10 minutes late. Asked me programming questions for the next 20 mins and rejected me saying my concepts are not clear. Better luck next time apply in 6 months. I would give -5 stars if possible.

Don't trust these guys, they will kill 3 weeks of your time in the name of interviews and once interviews are done they will never call you back to let you know the feedback (positive or negative) even if the final interview went well.
I would give zero or negative rating if there is an option.

Pros: no Pros
Cons: Even for the beginner's role they expect you to write complex coding.

As a recent graduate and without any Canadian experience, choosing FDM has been one of the right decisions in my career path so far. It has been more than a year working for FDM; the exposure and learning curve of working on Client location has been amazing and I look forward to leverage the FDM resources and connections wherever I go later in my career.

Great company to jump start your career. You need to be willing to work hard and believe in delayed gratification but will be treated fairly.

The response is okay. However, I think they is looking for low paid labour. The looked up two year low paid period is insane.

FDM is a recruiting company that provides opportunities to fresh graduates. I have been with FDM for 2 years and here are my views on the company:

Pros:
The company has hired good trainers who help you throughout your training period.
The company also invests heavily in the online learning platforms to help the consultants learn the skills required by the industry.
Company pays the consultants for the training.
The company culture is good, all the festivals and big sport events are celebrated which is a lot of fun.

Cons:
The pay is below average compared to market.
During my time at FDM, I have had more than 15 issues with the payment department.
They make a lot of mistakes in paychecks and if you don't check your pay there is a 100% chance that you will loose your money.
And this does not happen deliberately but it is due to the inaccuracy of the teams that manage the paychecks.

For an example, Once I was told that I have 2 vacation days left and when I took the 2 days off and asked to be compensated for those 2 vacation days they told me that they have made a mistake in calculating my vacation days and I will not get compensated for the days I took off in account of their mistake.
In result, I had to loose 2 days of my regular pay plus my vacation pay.

In conclusion, if you have 0 options in the market, you are financially stable, you are active enough to calculate your bi-weekly pay, and you have time to fight battles with the payment departments and HR then yes, you can go to FDM.

Please note most of the 5 star reviews are from company employee, so disregarding them the average is 1 star. Read the 1 star reviews, they tell the true story.

Don’t waste your time applying for this fake company! They pay you below minimum wages. All their jobs are scams. Be careful!

If you're a young professional, don't join these guys. They take advantage of you! There was a 23 year-old on my team, he was smart and hard working. FDM only paid him $23/hr, while billing him to client at over $60/hr. Complete ripoff! Make sure you negotiate, or just go with another vendor
