I use to go to Fredericks years ago and stopped as I found a hair in my food and complained to the owner and he told me "he eats hair all the time" so I gave them a break and decided to try again. This time I ordered the chili chicken and it was tasty at first until I bite into a piece of glass; could have broken my teeth or swallowed it. The glass resembles a piece that might have come from a broken beer bottle. They offered me a replacement but I was scared to try anything from them so they refunded my money back but no compensation for my time or anything else. Will never eat here again!
I do take out a lot but this time I decided to eat in the restaurant Service was so bad It took 20 mins to get our order, the sad part was that only 3 tables were occupied so not busy at all. We place our orders she was rushing us didn’t take our drink order. The food came fast, she place it and took of again with out having a chance to tell her my drink order. I Had to go searching for her to place my drink order. After that never check on us to see if we needed anything else. Very bad service. Food is good as always and delicious. Will go back for take out only!
Chili chicken was great. Sweet n sour soup was a waste of money. Customer service is bad due to the volume of business they have and not enough help at the counter. The person "guy" at the counter didn't even give us extra bowl, as they have no understanding that if someone is coming from out of town and dine in is closed due to lockdown then obviously would eat in the car but need bowl n plate which he said they charge extra for it. People need to be kinder and considerate especially at this time. Next time I will go to place next door, their customer service and soup is way nicer.
So disappointing! Living downtown Toronto without a car, I was looking forward to eating Federick's for years, so a friend decided to order take-out and deliver it to me. To my misfortune, they must have served me the pandemic edition of their food because it was flavourless and stale.
I ordered the Manchurian Shrimp Fried Rice and Shrimp Pakoras. The rice tasted like old rice you find in the back of your refrigerator and the pakoras also tasted old and refried. It was mostly batter that tasted like old KFC, a maybe a small piece of shrimp if I was lucky, while the rest was either mystery meat or just plain stale batter.
This is so sad because the food was so bad, I'm not sure I even want to try their restaurant post pandemic.
Food is good and the guy working is good but the lady working on the counter is ridiculously rude.she could use classes on how to behave with customers
Federicks is number one for Hakka. No there isn't competition in Brampton which has tons of Hakka. The Chicken Pekora is better than ANY other place I've tried. Manchurian rice is RED not orange, and perfectly spicy.try the mixed manchurian with chicken, shrimp and beef.
Prices are competitive and it's the best Indian Asian food in Toronto or Markam!
