Mediocre service. Delivery driver is never able to delivery my stuff, never communicate (I left phone number and email) and simply says that wasn't possible to deliver. It's the only company that NEVER delivers to me. Terrible.

I asked for my package to be delivered at a specific time and they always go during my work hours. I called to request it again, they gave me the case number and even so they went at the time they wanted.

Applied to be a courier with fed ex and I was trained to be a courier in their training program. When I started the job they claimed that driving a 5 tonne truck to malls unloading into the malls on carts is a courier position hand bombing boxes and hand jacking skids onto trucks. I was told in the hiring will be doing residential drops but they put me in a different job. I had no issue doing the job but they wanted to pay courier salary for a truck job. $20 per hour. This job is $25-30 per hour elsewhere. Underpaying employees is their specialty and it looks like misleading candidates into positions is also their speciality.

Like most of the other reviews, my complaint is against the driver. I got a tracker for priority overnight shipping to be delivered 12/31. My husband and I were home all day, and I received a text at 4: 45 saying there was a delay and that it will be delivered on 01/02. We decide to walk our dog so we leave our building and notice they left a slip INSIDE our building saying they were unable to deliver as the customer was unavailable. They did not even attempt to come to our door, they just left it a slip at the lobby and called it a day. Now I have had to wait, and since it is the holiday I do not have the option to pickup my package. This is truly disappointing, there was a reason for this package to be shipped priority over night. FedEx is known for their poor service and low quality drivers, who don’t even attempt to make deliveries. Especially if you are paying for delivery, it is really upsetting that you are forced to pickup your package. We do not have a car, and this location is really far for us to go by public transportation. What a joke.

Similar story. Address was fine in the delivery request, same as in any other service I used previously without any issues. Suddenly my address is wrong and they are forcing me within a timeframe to pick up or loose my package.

I wonder why you kept on holding my parcel and also changing the delivery schedule first thing; someone from your employee (maybe the driver) messaged me my parcel was on hold because I have a balance of $3.80. When I replied to that message that it was free delivery, plus I emailed the company I ordered from, I complained about your service. You changed the schedule before 1: 30 pm yesterday. I woke up early to wait, and you canceled the delivery. Someone came (From fed ex) to leave that tag for me to sign. I signed it, and I put it in front of our door. This evening I received a call (From fed ex) to pick up my parcel again at your location. What is that? Your delivery from January 2,2023, tomorrow is already January 04,2023. You wanted me to pick it up at your location; I left a tag already. You can deliver it and leave my parcel in front of our door even from amazon; they drop it off. I don't have time to come. I ordered online so that it can deliver to my house and not hassle my time, plus my bus fare. There is no cooperation on your services. It is very, very, very, very disappointing. I will not come to pick it up.

I saw my shipment is out for delivery then it moved to delay status. I was expecting maybe next day I will receive it. But they have transferred it to ready for pickup by themselves without even trying to reattempt (they didn’t even take first attempt though). I had to go there by myself using public transport (I don’t have car), took me 1.30hrs total. Is this what I paid for.to waste my time and money? ! Also I found there were couple other people complaining inside office for not receiving the shipment.

I am willing to give anything below 0, as they don't even feel like giving 1, as system is not allowing me to submit a review without a star, going with most least value 1.
My order went on for out for delivery on 12/28/2022 then moved to pick up when I call and check they were saying they don't have complete address to deliver the order. The specific delivery location has same issue reported by 100s of customer, please read the reviews. They are just playing with the orders and customers. It is really frustrating and one of the worst experience I likely to forget in my life.
Fedex be aware how your company/of your unstable system is or how your employees are performing.
Question here is - should this be a responsibility of shipment company to get all the details at the initial stage while taking an order delivery? That's basic job of any shipment company if you cannot do that properly, better stay away from shipment service - let the customers been handled by proper providers.

Pick-up option is good, but the delivery is not only a scam, but also wasted my time staying home and waiting. My condo’s doorman said he never saw a FedEx vehicle show up yesterday, but FedEx updated my package status as no one at home or business closed anyway. A whopping lack of ethics.

My package from Gap supposed to be delivered to my home. Instead I have to go to FedEx center to pick it up because they felured to delivery. I stay in the line for 30 minutes with my son who is 5 years old and have to go to bed. I don't think that is decent service. And customer service can not do anything to fix they own mistake. And I can see that I am not alone in huge line of complains.

FedEx’s first delivery somehow also counts as its final delivery notice when missed, and apparently having folks wait in a long lineup for 20+ minutes outside the door is an acceptable business practice as customer service. Would not recommend using their services ever, if only I had the choice to ship via a different method…

Edit: Apparently it’s common practice for FedEx drivers to “attempt” to deliver once before wasting everyone’s time and mileage.

I wasn’t expecting their ratings to be more than this…the fedex for the area is not reliable at all.they claim to come which I’m still waiting.and I think in bad weather they falsely state that they attempt delivery which is far from the truth.i never have a problem with DHL…I shop online and I try to tell these merchants to stop using fedex. Atleast not while I’m living in this area.

This happened to me couple of times now. I don’t get it even though I am home, my package never delivered. This is always their reason: “Customer not available or business closed Access is controlled by customer” How did you know that the customer is not available if you never tried to deliver. No notification left too. This must be fixed! We pay shipping fee and the company is paying you to deliver our packages but look what you guys are doing. This is so disappointing!

There hasn't been a time when FedEx completed a delivery for me. My delivery was scheduled for today, FedEx just called and said that my package is reasdy for pickup at their shipping centre. Every single time they manage to make me come to this shipping centre to pick up my packages. I have a very busy schedule working two jobs 6 days a week, for that reason I order a lot of things online. What makes you think I have the extra time to go all the way to your shipping centre to get my package? If I had I'd go to the store myself and get what I need.
You guys make it all so complicated, you have my address with street #, apt # and buzzer code, USE the information I'm providing you with and DELIVER the package, if you have to leave it at my door it's fine, it won't go missing, not in my building. Stop being so irresponsible and get your job done.
Btw, the people working at the shipping centre are always great, this one star review is not for them but for the rest of the staff at FedEx.

This FedEx facility is used mostly for work under a corporate account with the minority consisting of personal shipments. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, and are eager to ensure your items are being shipped in the most cost effective, time sensitive manner. They have caught the mistakes I have made that saved my business from incurring penalties on certain packages

Their driver never delivers at my building. They leave a note by the entrance and never ring the buzzer (which will leave a call id on my land line). So, I can tell for a fact that Fedex never actually try to deliver to my apartment.
Since Covid started, Fedex never delivered to my building. I complained, no result.

This is not first time this happens with Fedex: 12 days ago I received a message from Fedex in which they claimed I was going to get the delivery that day by 5 pm. After 12 days still nothing. Today finally another message claiming an attempt to deliver. The delivery never came. Instead when tracking I found a message saying: Ready to pick up by customer at their own location. So what happened to delivery TO the customer? !

These guys are unable to deliver me a package for last 4 days.they are not even ringing the bell and expecting us to be waiting for them outside. Valled customer care and arranged delivery on the same day which is good. However the delivery man said he wont ring the bell for some strange reason. Didnt want to argue with him. I guess many will be missing package if he decided to do like this.

This is the worst courier ever, It is so sad that I can't give them a '0' rating. All my scheduled delivery to them has either ended up for re-attempt or me picking my parcel in this centre which is really far from my home, and they will even put this note "Customer not available" even though I was inside my house all day, Really poor service. You can't even compare them to DHL or Amazon, not an inch of the service.

Delivery guys left the door tag without even buzzing that they are outside and they went the wrong door.my hubby was home the whole day.i have to go far to pick up and theres a long line up -meaning delivery staff are lousy.more than 30 mins line up.good thing the employees in the pick up center are fast and efficient.they should do more training to the delivery guys.they should atleast try call before leaving.

Please let me know a way to give zero stars. These people steal your packages. First they will never come to deliver the package, they will just say reason like customer not present and you will get a message to go pick it up from a location that’s 10km away. If you call them they will tell that they will do another attempt to deliver the package but they will never do. At last your package will be lost in transit. Please stay away from these scammers.

My order has now been delayed a total of three times. This is the location the truck originates from so… can someone explain why my delivery hasn’t been attempted two days in a row? I can forgive the first time since we had a snowstorm, but roads have been long cleared. I get the same message in my tracking page every night and I just know the person didn’t even bother to try to deliver my package. Is there no priority to late packages? Mine will just be stuck in limbo for however long?

Update: 3rd delivery not attempted as of Friday Jan 21,2022 and ALSO, my downstairs neighbour got a delivery today. Not by fedex:). Another amendment, there was a delivery notice on my door. No one knocked. They came to my house with my package and didn’t knock. I was in the room above the front door with the window open listening for them and they didn’t bother knocking. Ha. Haha. Funny.

Do not use this service if you’re a business that cares about your clients. This place is committed to making it hard for your packages to be delivered by saying they attempted deliveries even when they don’t, so that you have to go pick it up in their ship centre. Saves them gas for delivery, hassle for shipper/receiver.

Pity you can’t give zeros or negative values.

Expected a package - no sign of it after two weeks. Asked the shipper about the package, and they could not trace it, but were well aware FedEx hadn’t contacted me either.

Of course FedEx claimed they delivered it, but they didn’t - no notifications, no phone message, no email, no mail notification - nothing.

The shipper replaced my items free of charge, and sent it by USPS instead - it arrived without incident via Canada Post.

Never had issues with FedEx before, and was willing to pay premium prices for that, but not only longer.

FedEx should be ashamed of messing up and then further ashamed of being economical with the truth and covering it up too.

Fedex is definitely the worst of all the couriers. They wont leave my package at my door (even though the shipper does not require a signature). Instead they keep insisting that it has to be picked up at this depot which is over an hour from my location. Every time I call, I get conflicting information and get told there is nothing they are willing to do. The shipper has called them as well and still no resolution.

Any convenience gained by ordering something online is quickly undone by Fedex's absolutely dismal service. If you have the ability to, choose UPS or Canada Post to save yourself the headache. They at least have more than 1 pick up location in a city of 2.93 million people.

I purchased a gift for my friend from Japan. The package was ready for pickup at this office since we need to pay for the duty. My friend is away from home for 2 weeks and she is the only resident of her address. Therefore, I called FEDEX to explain the situation. They told me in this case if my friend anthorizes me and gives me a copy of her driver license and I bring my ID, it should be ok. So I went there with everything prepared. The male front dest was so rude to tell me that I must live at the same address to pick it up and he didn't listen to my explanation. He even asked unrelevant questions like "do you own the place"? I asked to talk to his supervisor. His supervisor apologized for the misinformation I received from FEDEX. Security-wise, I totally understand the rules. But: 1.please respect people's time, it's not my fault; 2.for single person who lived alone, if they are away and unable to pick up the package on time, the package will be shipped back after 1 week. Does it make sense? I have everything, payment confirmation, order number, tracking number. And this is supposed to be a gift/surprise to my friend, not a trouble! And the customer service from the front desk is "nothing else I can do! " "I don't know! " Therefore, I asked his supervisor for possible solutions. 1. They or myself need to confirm with Fedex Japan to hold the package longer for my friend to pickup; 2. I need the vender/sender's authorization.

I contacted the Japanese vendor and they are very helpful. They confirmed the longer holding period and authorized me to pick it up. I went there again, waited in line and heard the same front desk yelled at someone else. That poor guy has 100 methods to prove he is the receiver, but he does not have a physical driver's license. Eventually he picked up his package after talking to the supervisor. Thankgod when the same front desk asked me to prove I live at the same address, his supervisor was able to tell him I was authorzied to pick it up.

Policies are used to serve people. I totally respect and follow FEDEX rules. Please kindly: 1.be consistent to instruct your customers; 2.exceptions do happen. Please take certain situations into consideration. As a customer, I'm happy to go there, provide supporting documents and answer your questions. The thing is you need to listen! If for everything you need to find your supervisor, you are either incapable to do this job or you don't have any customer service!

They delivered my package to another person have the same name but different address, without any responsibility in checking the details, like address and tracking number, and I asked them to show me the receiver identity, because it's fruad, they refuse, and told me to contact the shipper. ‍️ #professionalemployees

First delivery attempt tagged as final notice. Went for pickup, needed ID (which is usual) but address didn't match. So I showed them the email from FedEx tracking showing delivery attempt at the address recorded. "it can't be from FedEx. " Uhh how does that make any sense? It was attempted delivered to this address, I have the notice to match the email with the address and the ID that has my name? Once I finally got the package the lady just said next customer, no acknowledgement we were even done. Kind of rude. FedEx is the worst shipping company by far.

The delivery person came and lack of Buzz number he just leave a door tag. I come back after 2 minutes he just leave. Ok no problem I'm going to the store pick up my package and no body can tell me what time close on Dec 31 evening. I went to the store 4: 15 pm and store was close at 4pm. But after automatic FedEx staff call me you can pick up your stuff just she forget the store is closed at 4. So annoying. Tell someone to the machine when close the store on holidays.

The service was very pleasant here.just wish the delivery person would ring the door bell and give you a second to get to the door before they take off at lightening speed.so that you don't have to come all the way to here to pick it up. Luckily they have parking and are open late.

Bad customer service.
The agent who took a package from me did not bother to cover a return label with the tape, gave me an attitude for not sticking the label myself. I was after a very busy night shift and tired, so, I relied on a professional service from a FedEx personal.

Honestly they dosn`t care about any thing. Even call center people don't have any idea for the package. We call to call center for more deep Information if they dont have that means no need to have call center. Why would you guys accept package when your barcode machine is not working.

I don't know i met a very i sensitive staff here at customers desk on a very coldest day of winter and i was expecting shipment of a blower motor of my car heating system which showed on tracking that it has arrived at this fedex facility which has a sorting facility as well and i was turned back as one of the front desk staff said that they can't sort and find now and wait for the delivery time.
