This is an old spot in St. Clair west, so cozy, Friendly staff, reach food and alsooooooo good cocktails

We went here for a birthday dinner and were pleasantly surprised to see the restaurant quite busy on a Wednesday night!

We had a salad, and the pizzas. The little one had a simple tomato and cheese pizza which was delicious! She loved it!

The pizzas here are excellent! The cheese is authentic and perfect for the wood fired pizza. The ingredients used here are high quality and the dough is just perfect in terms of chewiness and doneness.

To finish up, we tried the tiramisu. This sounded promising off the menu but we weren't a big fan of this dish as it has a toned down flavour where there is a sweet liquor as opposed to a stronger espresso. We also didn't quite get the hazelnut flavour from the dessert.

We are definitely going back to Ferro for some great food. It is a lovely neighborhood spot for us and we loved the food.

I ordered their Spaghetti Alla Marina. I always order frutti di mare or any seafood pasta when I go to a new restaurant. This one has been the worst so far. No flavour whatsoever, the spaghetti tasted old and sticky but no flavour whatsoever. After I added pepperoncini and some salt I was able to have a few bites but neither my partner nor me were able to even finish half the order. It went straight to the garbage.

Delicious food and good portions - everything tasted flavourful and fresh. Lots of options for whatever mood you're in.

Great venue! Been multiple times mostly for work events but everytime I had a great time especially due to their tasty food. Would visit more often if I were closer but I'm planning on going back sometime soon.

Decent place, value for money, cannot say the best food n drink experience, but ok to try. I liked their all meat pizza, it was worth the bucks. Cocktails were okeish. Services wasn't great at all.

Large group dinner. Service was decent for a large group of 20 people, but a couple of items ordered were forgotten. We understand that it happens, so, no big deal.
Pizza and the chili's were definitely the best part of our meal. Mussels were delicious too. FYI, they don't do separate bills.

Nice place, lovely staff, good food. Unfortunately, the flies enjoyed it as much as we did. It is May 18th, and we were swarmed by flies. The room was zooming with them - indoors! It affected our experience, greatly.

I've celebrated a birthday and gone on a date here and both times the food and service have been fabulous! My friends took home the leftovers and I regret not snagging them for myself.

I always order takeout and the food is fantastic. I’ve made my way through the menu and the rotating specials are high quality. The Fusilli is my absolute favourite. Great job to the kitchen!

I've visited Ferro a bunch of times this year and it's awesome! The staff are really kind, and the food is so delicious Nd very géneros portions. I have forgotten to take photos each time, but I love the pizza (mushroom). The image I got is of a seafood platter (forgot it's name) butbits I huge- the small porción is pictured and I sweater 3 people could share it. I had leftovers for 2 days. The entrance and washroom are on main level, with no stairs. Recommended place for sure!

The lakes salad was incredible! The pizza crust was a bit soft for my tastes. It was a very busy night and the noise made it very hard to hear my friends. I want to return when it's less busy and try more menu items.

First time we dined at Ferro honestly we were so satisfied and impressed! The portions were massive, everything was flavourful and delicious.it’s cozy and delicious, it’s not fine dining Italian food, but you will leave with buttons undone.we had the perfect kale salad that was loaded with crispy salami, chickpeas and avocado! Ordered 3 pastas and a pizza - needless to say we left with a lot of food but was so excited to be back.our stand out (we love garlic), was the garlic packed classic American Alfredo.the other pastas are great too, tasty, massive portions.second time back, i brought a group of 8 for a birthday dinner, 4 guys and 4 girls.everyone left so full and satiated.we had their calamari, garlic bread, burrata but the highlight this meal, was their meatballs.yes it’s simple and classic, but the boys were addicted to it and 2 decided to order the spaghetti meatballs - both cleaned their plates and knocked out by the time they got home.we all got our own meals and drinks and we paid under $200/“couple, with 18% auto-grat.there isn’t 1x1 service if you’re coming on the weekend or during a busy season, but it’s fine (we came on a Sat night). Staff is always clearing the table, so you just ask but the server was very overwhelmed.we were sat next to a host stand so i helped myself to pepper, chilli, parmesan for our table and it didn’t bother us at all.we’ll be retuning again with our family for another birthday dinner.the restaurant is cozy, has unique and fun decor.you can be as causal or dressed up as you like.either you’re guaranteed a great meal!

Ferro was quite a busy place, although we went on Thursday. The servers and people around were quite attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. We ordered calamari and pizza. The food was good, but a bit too charred for my taste. Even the salad couldn't overcome the bitterness of the charred calamari. The pizza was delicious (I ordered N'duja), still the rim was not edible, almost burned. Overall, a good place to be with a nice vibe.

This is a comfort food destination. The bar is always packed with happy regulars, the food is usually delicious and the staff are nice. It’s four out of five for me because if you go on the wrong night, the very young staff will forget your order or your drinks, food has come out cold on one occasion and I have had a meal that was just so poorly prepared, it wasn’t worth eating. It’s USUALLY good with some misses along the way. The octopus is a great app and the mushrooms on toast are a must have.

Great Italian food and ambience for a casual lunch or dinner. The only downside is their washrooms, they are filthy. I wish they maintained those clean then my rating would have been five stars.

First time at this restaurant, right off the bat the food was great. Pizza's were cooked to perfection and the mushroom appetizer is definitely worth a try. The service was a bit slow, but other than that this place is worth a visit.

Sadly, the eggplant parmesan was totally unremarkable. Good restaurant overall but not tonight unfortunately.

Great experience at Ferro despite a few hiccups. Our reservation was never confirmed/entered properly so we had to wait for a table, calling for a reso was the only thing that felt off.the staff didn't feel confident on the phone, like they didn't really know what they had available for the evening, which led to me thinking I had a reservation when really I didn't.but honestly that was my only negative of the entire evening. The moment we walked in.drinks at the bar, extremely friendly bartender.sampled wines, was seated in the back/given table selection which is a great sign of care to detail.he took our order ASAP, and the place was packed. Food came quite quickly, great portion size vs menu selling price, really good food at a 'informal, casual fine dining level'. You're not gonna be wowed by the service, it's just not that type of place, it's high capacity, fast paced, you can see how hard the servers are working.so wine/water service isn't gonna be a thing the same way it would be at $$$$ place. But it's non pretentious, high energy.it's like a Italian restaurant that also kinda feels like a club, it's an experience. But it's loud, it's definitely not a place for quiet conversation (at least not on a Saturday night) but if you're looking for a fun night out/dining experience it'll be a bonus, you'll love the atmosphere and energy. It's got a brass/metal '20,000 leagues under the sea' vibe to the decor, it's really cool. They played early 2000s pop music, Gang Starr, Wu-Tang.it was a real melting pot of influence. 2 apps, 2 mains, bottle of wine, dessert, coffees. $167.00 Super reasonable. I was really impressed. Burrata, Gorg/Pear Salad were incredible. Fusilli cream very good, Spaghetti Marinara was pretty good, they don't clean the membrane off their scallops which is the one thing I noticed. Tiramisu was outstanding. Overall really happy with the food, and the staff are very polite, and super hard-working. It's not an easy place to work. I didn't see more than two servers and one busboy, so they are running! You gotta tip 20 percent at a place like this. And then.funny story. $450 parking ticket on St Clair. BE CAREFUL! There's a sign for "Loading Zone/persons with disability" right outside the restaurant on St Clair.it's super high up and not that noticeable.goes without saying, do not park there! Street parking on weekends is limited so factor that in when you're driving there.oh and encourage your partner to tackle 75% of the bottle if you're driving.naturally. Anyway, fantastic spot, can't really go wrong once you're inside.just confirm your reservation and call an uber!

These guys have been knocking it out for years. Great Vibe. Food quality was right on point. Served hot and full of flavor. Portions are generous and the price point was spot on.only draw back was the espresso.

I just ordered the rosé pasta with burrata on Uber eats and to say the least it was very disappointing. I got it with gluten free penne and it was terrible. I don’t know if it’s the brand of the pasta but most of it tasted like it was undercooked. I use gluten free pasta at home and literally don’t notice the difference, not sure but for a 33$ dish it was horrible.

Very friendly service- the waiter suggested trying the magic mushrooms as an appetizer, which was delicious and came out piping hot.

We then had the pear and prosciutto pizza and the fussili- the portions were solid but also very filling so we ended up with some food to take home to gorge ourselves on later in the night.

Would highly recommend this restaurant- came across it on a whim when one of our other go-to spots was unexpectedly closed, and will definitely now be repeat customers and adding it to our ever-growing list of go-to spots.

What an extreme disappointment! Lasagna tasted like it had pork, even though it says beef. Kale Caesar Salad was soggy, pasta was bland. The best thing was the pepperonccini peppers. They also didn’t send items I had paid for. Complete disaster. Many better options out there. Don’t waste your money here.

Me and my husband went to pharaoh for Valentine’s Day. It is one of the best restaurants on Saint Clair the atmosphere is cosy romantic and artistic. We got the Alla vodka pasta and bruschetta duo. Both dishes were unique with special flavours you won’t find in other restaurants. My one complaint was there were only 3 tiger shrimps added to the dish. For 3.95 extra I would have expected about 6 pieces. But other than that the place is perfect!

This place is soo authentic and rustic. It's an experience you cannot miss. I had the luck of going here with some great company, and we had a ball. The food is yum, and don't miss asking for recommendations. Their pizza is woodfire baked, and to die for.

Food was amazing, one of the best risottos I've had. Great portions. Even more importantly, they made a mistake with our takeout order - it was accidently skipped - but they made it right and took care of me. I appreciated the empathy and kindness of their staff. Will be back again

My best friend brought me here to celebrate my birthday and I loved everything about this restaurant. The food was so delicious, the staff was super friendly and the restaurant decor was beautiful.
We ordered the burrata and it was mouth watering! The combination of cheese, orange marmalade + arugula was perfect! The Pear E Gorgonzola salad was so yummy - we removed the blue cheese but it was still delicious. We ordered the Spaghetti All Marinara to which was made with fresh pasta and a generous serving of seafood! For dessert we got the “Mini” Calzone filled with Nutella and Mascarpone and it was not mini! They surprised me by bringing it out with a candle and singing Happy Birthday to me & it was so sweet!
Everything was sooo delicious - I'll definitely be going back asap and want to try everything on the menu!

In the last two decades of dining at Ferro, I have never been disappointed. Absolutely love this establishment. My favourite dish? Every dish in the menu and in particular the Seafood Platter!

I visited Ferro's in November 2021 and it is still amazing! Great pizza, great pasta and great wine!

One of the best restaurants in Toronto bar non. The Pronesti boys have continued their fathers tradition of great food with an equally great environment. A fantastic place for a date.

Paid $16.50 for a Caprese salad, I thought I was getting the picture on the left as they use it to advertise. Instead I got small soggy tomatoes (see other photo) with no possible way to justify paying that amount. Nonna would not be happy…

Terrific food and friendly service. Was thete for supper on a Sunday night and shared a few different entrees and apps. Price is about average, but the food quality is very good.

The food here is fantastic! We ordered the fungi pizza and it was so delicious, creamy, full of flavors and lots of cheese.

I ordered the boneless beef rib and it was amazing, the sauce was so flavorful and it had just the right amount of heat, not overpowering but not weak either.

My wife ordered the fish platter for one and man there was a lot of fish.

We have been here four or five times and have never been disappointed.

Worst experience ever

1- we call to make a reservation for 2 people.the lady who answers us tells that they do not accept 2 people it is necessary to be a minimum of a group of 4 and she passes us another person
2- we went the next day there for lunch for the lasagna and they tell us that the lasagna on instagram is not available today.we look for another dish from instagram posts and when he saw me he told me that their posts are exclusive for instagram and don't do them. So weird! Why do you put pictures of the dishes that you do not do!

Oh my goodness.hands down one of the most delicious meals in memory! I had the lasagna (which changes slightly daily) and it was incredible. I can't recommend this place enough. Sit on the front patio if you can and take in the people watching on St. Clair.

I've only ever ordered take out from here, but the food is AMAZING.
Everything we've ordered so far has been so good that I can't even pick a favourite dish. Their eggplant parmesan is to die for, their gnocchi is pillowy soft with an amazing rosee sauce that has suuuper thinly sliced garlic that adds amazing flavour. Love that you can also customize your own pasta. I actually received the wrong uber order once (two Lisa's who happened to order at the exact same time) and the order I ended up with (a customized pasta dish) was so good I've ordered it three times since then. (Thanks other Lisa!)

Beautiful space, good service, and absolutely delicious food. Their Carmelo pizza is my favorite. Perfect vegetarian option.

Their location (Saint Clair West) is also great. You will find many cafes and shops nearby.

Hmmmm whats better than amazing? The service was 5star, the food was so good and they were accommodating to some of the dietary restrictions from my large order. Everything down to the the salad dressing was nothing short of amazing. Hands down one of our favorite restaurants! Looking forward to making Ferro a rotation in our support for small businesses and you should too!

I have actually had COUNTLESS wonderful experiences with Ferro, and order from them once a week for sure. The specials are TO DIE FOR! Especially the funky lasagna.but the penne vodka is my favorite! Everytime I order or reccomended this place my friends and I are left so pleased. The portions are also super fair.

Huge shout out to Elizabeth for helping me out tonight and making sure those Uber drivers know whats up so I got my delivery! ;) hahah. You guys are the best, please keep up the amazing service! See you soon!

One of the few restaurants actually cares about what you are getting, quite mindful when you notice they care about the food temperature when the food get to you since it is all take out only now. Excellent food with great value. Strongly recommended.

Just moved to the area and ordered from Ferro for the first time - easily the most flavourful and quality authentic Italian takeout we've had in a while. We were stunned - delicious food and fantastic, friendly service. Looking forward to ordering again!

Ordered dinner for my Son and daughter-in-law delivered in Christmas Eve. They raved about all of their dishes. And it wasn't to placate me. They were still talking about the food two days later. Can't wait to order for myself

I have been ordering there since the pandemic started. Portions are big, food is tasty and fresh. Overall, most dishes I have ordered have been very good.

Awesome take out experience at Ferro yesterday! Ordered the SPAGHETTI N'DUJA ROSÉ $18.50 Delicious & great portion! Small CLASSIC CAESAR $7.95 So Fresh! And a bottle of Lambrusco (sparking red) / Castelvetro, Italy 750ml 8%. Sadly they were sold out or couldn't locate their stock but the woman working had an instant replacement of greater value and added a tiramisu for my inconvenience! Its sad to see empty restaurants at this time of year or anytime this year for that matter but they are going above and beyond for their customers! Thank you Ferro #supportlocal

Nice place, a little on the dark side with low lighting. But the food and service makes up for it. A place to make a few more reservations.

Ive been going to this restaurant for at least a decade and have never been disappointed. I especially love how they prepare seafood. Plenty of parking in the area is always a bonus.

The food was phenomenal! Service was excellent! I love it here and will definitely come back again but there is one thing I hated about Ferro: the washrooms were disgusting! Super filthy, soaking wet floors with paper towels everywhere! A bit of a turnoff but I have to admit I'll be back anyways!

Food is overpriced didn't fit my expectations i had always heard about this place my friend had the fish it was undercook had a bad smell i had the pasta more like chef boyardee i would not recommend or go back really disappointed if i could give 0 i would

Used to be one of my favorites. Recent visit pizza was extremely charred asked server to return received second pizza and only slightly less burnt. Was made to feel like I was making a big deal over it. Not impressed.

Ferro is truly a solid neighborhood restaurant with good food, good wait staff, and a good vibe. A nice place for friends and families to eat.

The reason I'm not giving it a higher rating is because of the cadence of bus staff service, and that is completely on the owners.

We were happy to be poured water, and then not longer than a few minutes later a (a sip of water in) we were interrupted in order to top up our water glasses. Although I wasn't happy about being interrupted in the middle of a conversation, I politely asked that he place a bottle of water on our table and to not bother to refill our glasses.

Long story short, we were interrupted 4 other times but by different bus people, when I finally expressed my displeasure at all of these interruptions, the owners reaction, instead of trying to understand why I was so annoyed, was to say that they are only trying to provide the best service.

While that may be his intention, over-serving water is NEVER a good way to service patrons. It's typical of high end restaurants (which Ferro is not.a good thing) and no less annoying. The owner should be aware of this and train his team accordingly. The many bus people who didn't seem to have designated areas must have been told to keep busy, and that meant constantly interupting tables, while in the middle of a conversation, to serve water.

Fortunately our waiter has a way better understanding of what good service is and he was taken care of accordingly.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. Place had a good ambiance to it and was very busy. Food was excellent and every dish that came by looked very good as well. Service was also very good considering how busy it was. Will definitely be returning. What a gem

I call this excellent place from time to time because I enjoy the special air that is unique to this restaurant. The personel is exceptionally friendly and experienced. The service is impressively fast. Most important, the food they prepare is perfect. I came more than once and I was always pleased. The expense is reasobable. I suggest this place to my friends and family.

I brought my parents for dinner for my mom's birthday, this was our first time visiting and we were delightfully surprised. Ferro has AMAZING food. I 100% recommended this restaurant if you like italian food and you're looking to go home completely satisfied. Desserts were really good as well, they're from a local bakery. Service was really good, we were served fast. The ambiance was great as well, they have really nice decor.

Since it's new year's eve we called to make sure they were opened before making plans to go. From our phone call to dining in their services were amazing! We sat at the bar since they were booked all night and couldn't be happier. Special thanks to Aaron & Grisha for making our experience here amazing & our NYE's night! Our food was delicious! We had the Calamari alla Griglia, Prosciutto Marinara & Spaghetti alla Marinara. The restaurant itself is very unique with great music. Definitely worth the stop if you're around the area or craving for some Italian food. Thank you again guys!
