Inconsistent speeds. I’m paying for a 750 MBPS plan and the most I have ever seen so far is 100 MBPS. This is a great example of false advertising.

Fibrestream's level of service (internet and customer service) dropped off the deep end when Beanfield acquired it. Used to be great, now it's basically Bell or Rogers except the internet is less dependable.

Excellent service and very affordable. I've been using FibreStream for 14 months now, I recently had to cancel the service as I'm moving cross-border and they were very responsive [<12h hr
response time], very efficient [scheduling service termination for the night right after my move], and very reasonable, charging my last bill the prorated amount [given that I will not be around for the full month] vs the full amount. Can only say good things, highly recommended

Horrible terrible business.never come here for internet! Front desk lady side eyed me after i asked for help.she also insulted my disability cat named bobo.then proceeded to spit on my outfiyt.

Although the initial on-boarding was a bit difficult, FibreStream efficiently and effectively resolved my issues. The CS staff was responsive and took time to review my account which meant a lot for me being a new customer. My first impression has been great and i look forward to the future of this ISP.

I've been with FibreStream since August 2016 and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I used to be with the big providers and it's like night and day. Their customer service and technical support are excellent. I've never had a technical or billing issue. Bar none, of all the different types of services I have for my household, FibreStream is by far the best. Due yourself a favour and sign up, you'll be very happy!

The greatest customer service you could ask for at an ISP. They will actually hear you out and work with you to resolve issues. Most recently, about an hour ago, my speed dropped by about 400mbs. Got on the phone and they troubleshot it in real time and got me back up to my full speed again in about 10 minutes or less. Cannot recommend them enough. If they are in your building it’s a no brainer.

I don't have internet connection since Friday night. Called them on Saturday and they refused to fix it because they can't do it on weekend. We have to wait till Monday. Well, necessity of wifi does not go away over weekend and on Monday, we do have wfh. Cancelling the account with them definitely.
To reiterate, we already complained twice over the last week of sudden slow connectivity and they said they are gonna fix it! And this is the fix over a weekend

Update: they did fix it on Monday and gave us credit.the main connection was disconnected by someone inside the building.

So far so good!
Just moved into my condo and it was the easiest internet setup process I have ever done. Buy wifi router, plug into wall, done. Couldn't be happier with the price and speed as well. Highly recommend to anyone who has them in their building.

Terrible customer service, very rude and unprofessional. During the installation the rep showed up with one of his friends. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for internet service. The internet speed is also much slower than advertised

Been using FibreStream for home internet for the past 2 years and I haven't had a single issue so far. Internet is consistently fast and reliable. I always thought FibreStream's prices were perfectly reasonable but I just checked what their competitors' prices are and wow, what the other companies are charging for the same internet speed is so high it's actually insulting. How are Rogers/Bell/Telus still in business?

I activated my service with fibrestream starting at march 4th and their website advertises no extra charge for the initial technician visit to setup the internet jack.

The previous tenant of the unit who was an entirely different customer and had nothing to do with me also apparently had fibrestream. When i contacted support regarding the the setup process, I was told I will have to pay separately for the technician visit which feels like a bait and switch

I haven't had much experience with fibrestream outside of this initial interaction and can't help but feel tricked

I recently switched over from Bell (50/50Mbps, unlimited, $88+tx) to FibreStream (same, $35+tx). Fast (er), more stable, and excellent tech support. I definitely recommend.

Very easy to set up, very fast, very cheap and never went down during my year of use, and when I needed to deactivate my account they were quick and direct to getting it done. Easily the best ISP I have ever used.

Worst service ever experienced in my whole life, from a rude technician who couldn't answer a couple of simple questions like how do I make a payment for the installation fee. He could say that all the questions should go through customer service. He wanted to confront my family and me; we almost got into a fight. Bad management, disorganized small business internet provider. I don't believe all these five stars rated reviews.

I've had Fibrestream since June 2017 when I first moved into my place and it's been an excellent experience. The price is right, the customer service is excellent, and I've rarely ever had any issues. I definitely recommend these guys.

Unprofessional company on a number of levels. When I initially called to inquire, they answered the call with “yo” causing me to question the validity of the company. I called back a few weeks later to sign up, they told gave me a timeframe for the installation, nobody showed up. Finally when I did book another time slot, the representatives friend or co worker showed up 10 minutes later unannounced, knocked twice with a pen and proceeded to open my door and walk in within a few seconds. I followed up with “customer service “ and all I got was “sorry. I let him know it was unacceptable”.

I purchased the high speed package (2.4 and 5.0 speeds), which the 5.0 alternative is consistently with no internet. Otherwise, for the price this isn't a bad option.

I've had Fibrestream for around 2 years at my condo, and the overall experience has been somewhat disappointing, which is why I cancelled the service today. Granted, they offer solid pricing at high speeds, but my issue was the internet was never at the speed it was suppose to be at. My plan was $50 / 750 Mbps, but it was usually around 100 Mbps. I had to contact Fibrestream multiple times with this issue and had technicians come into my unit to fix or upgrade the cables to restore the bandwidth to its original capacity, but the issue was never resolved. I got tired and frustrated of having to deal with the same issue over and over again so I found a deal that offers the same internet speed at a lower price and moving on from Fibrestream. If you are a customer, make sure you regularly check your internet speed to see what you are actually getting instead of what is on paper.

I used this service in my condo, got the 500 Mbps option. Cheaper than what I’ve paid for comparable service, no modem needed, super reliable internet - never noticed any down time or major slowdowns.

The only minor hiccup was installation - the installer was quite late and I was kinda grumpy about. He explained that he’d run into issues setting up previous clients. After setup, I tested the speed and it was lower than expected. He patiently took time to explain that I needed a faster router, and helped me perform some tests. After upgrading my router, speed tests indicated that I was getting the advertised speed. Aside from the hiccup an overall positive experience.

My experience with customer service was very good. I phone and an actual human picks up! No waiting on hold for hours with that ubiquitous hold music! Also spoke with a rep, Shaan several times, and always had a positive experience - they actually seem empowered to try to create a positive experience for customers.

I switched to Fibrestream from Rogers as soon as it got available in my condo building. Scheduling and installing was prompt and easy, also they didn't even ask for an installation fee with a promotion. It has only been a day since the installation, but it's super stable and fast so far. Definitely would recommend.

Edit after 3 months: The service has been pretty consistent, when there is downtime or lag, it only lasts for a couple seconds. Also, their customer support is really good. They follow up to ensure you're getting the best service.

I am so happy with my service from FibreStream. I have High Quality (super fast speed and unlimited gb) wireless internet for a fraction of the cost I'd get from a big teleco. I have never had an outage, and if there have been any slowdowns I have never noticed. I've been working from home during the pandemic hosting live events on Zoom so my picture and sound needs to be crisp and professional and FibreSteam definitely delivered where my previous provider could not (even after bumping up my speed.)

The installation was super easy, and while the modem cost might seem steep upfront ($100) it's worth the investment. I will say that I bought my modem used, and the person I bought it from said their experience was not great and they believed it to be an issue with the wiring in their specific building so that is something to look into. That being said, I couldn't be happier and I'm glad i took the chance to switch.

I am so grateful to find this company. I was so sick of paying hundreds a month for internet that wasn’t even unlimited. Shaq and the whole FibreStream team are easy to communicate with. No hassle, contracts or overages and no insistence on this and that. I’ve never had any problems with my internet and the upload and download speeds are incredible. I tested the connection as soon as it was installed on speed test and it was exactly as I paid for. Installation was super quick, just showed them where I wanted the router and it was done! I’m saving so much money in comparison to all the plans from the big companies like bell and Rogers. Honestly I thought their rates were so cheap and I was skeptical about the quality I would get but now I just think that this is what they should be in the first place.

Great internet performance at better prices than any of the big 3, and by far the most pleasant and reasonable telecom company I have dealt with. Would strongly recommend them if you live in a serviced condo.

Absolutely amazing service and customer care. I had a problem with my internet connection and spoke with Ed (who was an amazing CSR) and guided me through the steps. I was on a 500mbps plan and there was the 750mbps plan that just came out for the same price and I asked if I can switch over to the 750. He said no problem and boom! I was running at incredible high speeds. Thank you FibreStream for not digging into my pockets and thank you Ed for the amazing customer service!

The Internet was reliable and quick, which matches their customer service and set up. From start to finish FibreStream has been prompt and professional. Sad to move out of FibreStream coverage. If they are in your building, you can't go wrong by signing up with them.

I've been with Fibrestream for the last 2.5 years. I was on their 50/50 Mbps for $35 monthly. For the whole 2.5 years I've never experienced any sort of slowdown or downtime, which is just impressive! Just yesterday they finished upgrading their infrastructure for my building, and offered a 500/500 Mbps for the same monthly price. I emailed the representative and they upgraded my plan free of charge. Unfortunately the upgrade was not smooth and required a technician visit. They came in the next day right on time, and fixed the issue. They broke my unique setup, but I called them and the same technicians came in the same day and rectified the new issue. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend Fibrestream if you have it in your building!

The person I spoke to Justin, was absolutely amazing! He was so kind and walked me through various routes. He also emphasized on what is important for me and what I would need when I explained to him what I use my internet for. He was professional, kind and extremely helpful. I'm definitely changing to them not only for their affordable prices but also for the wonderful customer service!

Been a customer with them for almost a year now. Exceptional customer service and have not experienced any connection drops since signing up with them. Better plans and mbps is extremely fast. No issues at all. Soo much better than my previous cable ISP that I had before.

I needed internet and in the same day the technician installed it in just few hours. The speed is fast and reliable. Their customer service was also fairly quick to reach without long waiting times.
