Last week I went to their store to sort out a SIM related issue. Tahaani and her team figured out the issue and sorted it out, end to end. This included being on call with the customer support team for more than an hour and adjusting payables from the back end. I would 100% recommend reaching out to her and this store for all mobile connection or other queries. Good job team

Tahaani and Gareth were super helpful in setting up a new iPhone and made sure I got the best deals my carrier had to offer and triple checked that I had everything I needed before I left.

Absolutely recommend coming to this location and looking for Tahaani or Gareth. They’re great!

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM FIDO IF YOU ARE TRAVELING!

I was literally SCAMMED at the Toronto Airport. The guy that sold me the sim card intentionally registered the card to another person, so I didnt have control over my phone number.

I was traveling in Canada for a month and went to Toronto, Québec and Vancouver, so I needed a sim card that could work for me in different cities, but since the guy that sold me the card didnt register it to my name, I could only use it for a few days, then it went off, and I could never use it again because to reactivate it I was asked for a PIN code that I was supposed to receive on my email address. To my surprise, the email adress registered to the sim card was not mine, and the same Thing happened with the name, date of birth, and all the personal information. I had nothing on my email or the phone, and since I pretty much wasnt the real owner of the sim card, i couldnt do anything else with it. All I had was the receipt.

When I realized all this, I was already in Quebec, and since the zip code in Toronto was not registered, no one could fix the problem. I went to over 6 different Fido stores in Quebec and Vancouver, and only after a very kind Fido worker made the effort to dig in and gather all the information we realized that we were actually scammed, and even the Fido worker confirmed it to me. After all those issues, nothing could be done, and the only solution they gave me was to start all over again, and buy everyhting again.

Since that was the only solution, i asked for a refund of the first purchase, but for that, I had to speak to like 235786443 people, and call like a thousand times. Since I was traveling, I had no time for that, because I was missing my vacation because of this, so I gave up, and ended up losing 50 dollars, and traveled with no phone. The scam was in the Toronto Airport, May 20th, at 9 pm, and by June 19th, when I left Canada, the problem still hadnt been fixed.

These people are useless, except for the person in Quebec, who was the only one that really helped me, and I really thanked him a lot.

I walked in the store the other day and i was helped by Tahaani. She explained to me everything clearly and she gave a good breakdown of the prices. One of the best customer service agents I’ve met in a wireless store.

It was a great experience. Arpita was super helpful and very capable. I came in to replace my SIM card, and she offered to upgrade my data plan for only $3 more which was a good suggestion from her. She also offered other products for me to consider. Will definitely be going to this branch moving forward. Thanks Arpita and Tahaani.

The worst location. Expect to spend hours on getting some quick and easy help as stuff are untrained. They won’t get your problem solved but they will try to sell you an overpriced chargers and cases while you’re waiting in frustration.

Its a hit or miss location. Among 4 stuff members only one person might know something. A simple sim activation setup of 5min can turn into 2hrs waiting and guessing game. Then even if its not successful, they will still try to charge you an activation fee. Never coming back.

This is the worst provider and customer service we have EVER received. We already purchased 3 simcards from them and need help because one is not working. When we went to the store they did not let us inside even after showing our EU ID. Incredibly rude, discriminatory and unprofessional. Regretful that we left even one cent with this company.

Today they discriminated my brother from entering. Over the door they wanted to see ID, so he showed them EU Driving License. They said they can't let him enter if he doesn't show them passport. Fido is not police nor immigration officers, they have no right demanding specific documentation. The reason the manager gave us was that people were stealing, so I guess we look like thieves. So unprofessional that I feel like cancelling Fido altogether. Zero empathy or client approach.
Wish I had audio recording, I would consider suing immediately.

Fido home internet is simply horrible, I did not have home internet starting Thursday Evening July 21st. 2022, even though a technician came and replaced the Modem, which was Friday 11: 00 AM, their Tech Support has not enabled internet at my home address, countless phone calls and the same standard pitch from their technical support personnel, ” OH WE ARE SO SORRY, IT WILL BE FIXED BY 12: 00 AM TONIGHT” which was actually last night I.e FRIDAY, JULY 22,2022, They are so ultra casual about this, also bearing in mind the most recent major outage was just 12-days ago! And then THIS? This is unacceptable! This company does not deserve any stars!

I went in this store for the first time on the morning of February 16 because I was getting a black screen on my phone. I did try almost all the suggestion on YouTube. They were not able to figure out what was wrong with my phone. Their suggestion to take my phone to Samsung got my phone fixed the same day and since it was under warranty it didn't cost me anything. Thank you guys.

I had an excellent experience with Nicole today!

I came in with an issue that I was unable to resolve at another Fido store and we were frustrated. Nicole was so helpful honest cheerful and patient with us as well as being knowledgeable. Nicole truly went above and beyond to resolve our issue. Even when the Fido support representative on the phone messed up something on our order Nicole helped us resolve issue quickly and efficiently.

Nicole is amazing I really can't say enough good things about our experience.

Mediocre to good customer service is pretty common. Exceptional customer service is rare. Today, I received exceptional customer service from Nicole during my visit to the Fido Store on Queen Street. She gave me a warm greeting as soon as I came into the store and took her time to ensure that everything for my internet installation was set up right. Despite the fact that the store was closing for the day, she went the extra mile and spent time to look up any promos that I am eligible for without me even asking (I also use Fido for my phone service). Someone needs to give Nicole Employee of the Month AND a raise! I will definitely be recommending Fido services to my friends/family members/colleagues. Lastly, I really appreciate the measures that the store is taking to keep everyone safe during these challenging times. Thank you Nicole and Fido team!

I bought an iPhone xr from wireless wave in Limeridge Mall just before lockdown. I hated the phone but couldn't get in to do anything about it as we were in lockdown. I called Fido to get out of the contract due to:
I can't get any data even though my data is on when I'm not near wifi.
I can't etransfer making a purchase unless I drive to a place with wifi.
The phone won't connect to my wifi if I'm too far away from my modem.
Don't try calling them as their Ask Jack feature is much better at wasting an hour of your time.
The phone itself has outdated features and both the phone and service is over priced with non existent customer service.

Horrible customer service. Before they even allow you in they yell on an intercom asking you personal questions for all to hear. As someone else commented here, you are not a prison. I am not a robot. I am a person who was looking to bring business your way. I will never spend my money here. I walked away after the fourth question was yelled at me.

They told me wrong information so I had to make extra trips to the store.

I was trying to return my roommate's modem to this store. First time was told it's okay if I'm not the account holder but I need to bring an ID with me; I came back two days later with an ID and was told I could not return the modem because I'm not the account holder. After a few back and forth, the rep said she was actually able to return the modem, even without my ID (as I'm not the account holder), which means I could have returned the modem the first time I came.

Without an apology, she said that I should had disregarded what I was told the first time because it's commone sense that only account holders can return the modem, because "this is how we do business in Canada". Such poor accountability. Don't recommend this store.

Visited during Covid time, so hard to tell how it is in general. There is a speaker phone outside, you provide some details and then wait out, they will invite you in. There is a Bar Code scanner thing on the Door to line up virtually, didn't try it. Street parking (paid) available right in front of the store.

Nicole was amazing! Awesome customer service. I've come to this Fido a few times and she always has the right energy dealing with my phone or bill issues. I've made this my go-to Fido store because my past experiences the workers don't go above and beyond or try to send you to a customer service number to deal with it sadly.

I dont suggest fido for anybody since doest not only provide terrible customer services but also offer reasonable price for their plans.
About the data, I think they are chating on the measuring metrics.
