This is the worst place ever that they cheated to have the rebate on the account opening and kept cheating after i talked them that they will rebate in 3 months. After that, they were rude to find different executes. I ended up to other service provider.

WORST PLACE EVER!
I have been a Fido customer for 8+ years and i went here today to get an IPhone 15 Pro Max with a plan. I stood in line for 45 minutes. Right as I was behind the first 3 people in line, a man comes and says that they will not see anyone else beside the first 2 people in line. Everyone is pissed. I asked why not tell us before so we would not have to wait in line for 45 minutes and waste our time. He said, this might be the stupidest thing I ever heard, "I told the first person in line to tell everyone else that we will not be seeing everyone else". WHY WOULD YOU TELL THE CUSTOMERS TO TELL OTHER CUSTOMERS THAT? First of all they did not tell anyone else. And secondly you work for Fido, not the customers, they should not be the once telling people. Fido lost a long term customer today. I went to the Koodo stand right beside and took their plan. Never am I going with Fido again if they have people like that working for them. Wish I could have given 0 star. They have a 3 star rating for a reason.

I was in and out of the store within 30 minutes on Black Friday weekend. Zeel went above and beyond in setting me up with a new plan.

Don’t come to this store. I bought an iPhone with a plan here and the guy add a “protection plan” for $18.99 monthly plus tax and he said that it will stop after 3 months and he gave me a $50.00 credit. However, the plan didn’t stop. I didn’t realized it until now! Came to the store and ask them to remove it and give me another credit because obviously I didn’t authorize to get charge for it up to now and the lady said that she couldn’t do anything other than remove it from my account. So don’t come here. The staff get bonus probably for adding the protection plan to your phone plan and they lie to you.

Poor customer service, staff were just looking at each other and asking the other to help instead of offering to help them self. The person who helped me was least interested. Overall a very unpleasant experience.

I went to Fido Scarborough Town Center on Saturday, June 17,2023 at noon. I was looking to upgrade to a new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 512Gb smartphone. The Assistant Manager Mike was fantastic! He explained to me exactly my new Fido plan. I needed to change my plan about 3-4 times for my new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone that i was purchasing and Mike was extremely patient, professional and wonderful with me! I also received a discount for a good case for my new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 512Gb smartphone. I am very happy with my amazing new black Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 512Gb smartphone! Fido has always given me excellent customer service! A+ to Mike for giving me an awesome plan 60Gb and an awesome brand new black Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 512Gb smartphone! You guys are the best at Fido! Thank you a very happy a customer, me!

UPDATE: We tried calling several times on June 4 and the number they have on Google is incorrect (takes to a person's voicemail).

We contacted the employee who gave us his number the first day and tried to talk to the manager "Mike" but he refused to take the call.

Bottom line, we were scammed for almost 500$.

BEWARE OF SCAM! I wish I could rate 0. This is where you should go if you wish to get scammed.
We refered our newcomer friends (one who is a pregnant lady) since we are customers of Fido Danforth. The manager, Mike, advised them to get a plan and finance an iphone 14 pro.he also said that if they trade in their old iphone they will get a certain amount of store credit, the reason why my friend chose to proceed with the purchase.

Long story short, we spent the whole day waiting to transfer the data between phones. My pregnant friends feet were literally swollen! And that's not all.

When the transfer was done and they went to pay, the deal was suddenly only valid on Samsung.and my friend had to provide a down payment if she wanted to have the phone! They refused to give us the credit store because the manager, Mike, had left the store and was not responding to his phone.

We were promised that if we close the deal and provide the down payment, we will get the store credit in a few days when the manager returns. It's been 4 days and we still don't have a clear answer. THE PERFECT SCAM.

I came to the store to pick up my sim which I ordered online. I saw the store was packed with customers. The representative who helped me was Urvish Shah, amazing man. Not only he did help me with getting things done as soon as possible but already went above and beyond to explain me couple of things I asked him.
This man truly loves his job.

Very unprofessional staff. I refered 2 persons to get 2 new plans. We were promised a rate but at the end and after all traded phone data was transferred and after spending the whole day, staff informed us that we should pay an additional 400$ which we never agreed on when we were signing the deal. This is fraud and scam. I do not recommend anyone to go to this place

Cassidy at Fido, STC was excellent. Fully knowledgeable and efficient. For the first time ever, dealing with a cell phone company was delightful.

Waiting time - long but once your turn comes, it is quick.
The staff are helpful and competent.
Don't visit on weekends. It is crazily busy.
Fido plans are not the most competitively priced, neither is the network coverage impressive. But we just have it and we are accepting it.
One good thing happened was that it automatically gave me international roaming when I visited Singapore. Well, it changed me almost $1 per day regardless of whether I use the roaming or not. I paid about $20+ for 18 days out of Canada.
The Fido store at Scarborough Town Centre is excellent in managing all the enquiries.

Cassidy was amazing! I went into scarbough town centre expecting to cancel my account. After being a user for 8 years, the service I got in pickering was pretty rough. When entering STC, Cassidy was AMAZING! She was so understanding of my previous experiences with this company and set me up on a new plan that suits me. Please keep hiring fantastic staff like herself. Excellent customer service, thank you for your help!
