Rude and unhelpful staff. I came in to change my plan, but I was told they did not have the authorization to make the changes I was looking for. They told me to instead call Fido. I suspect that they just didn’t not want to do the work.

Daniel was fantastic with assisting us (while he was stuck assisting another over the phone) he didn’t allow it to take away from our experience at all. He was kind, polite, joked with us and got us a great deal for our new phones. We’ve been with Fido going on 5 years now & have always been happy with our experiences.

A very dishonest dealing in high tech fraud. Sim swapping is the ability of a malicious actors to take over your phone number by activating your phone line on another device. During crypto hype summers (2020/2021), we had this happen to us. I suspect this store because when we complained about it to them, NOBODY in the store offered to help and pretended to not know ANYTHING about sim swapping.
Fido is a good company but this store is super bad. Do yourself a favor and don't be their next victim.

I visited this store on Dec 5th 2022 & faced the worst costumer service in my life, his name “Fraser” he was playing video game while serving me! Careless & rude. I will never recommend this place to anyone at all. I also informed Fido tall free agent about this issue (Complaint No. C182830146) but they didn’t take any action, even didn’t update me regarding my complaint. I’m quitting Fido forever.

Customer services representative Tito was absolutely disinterested while attending us. I came to inquire about the new iPhone 11 but this dude was not at all interested. I’m a Fido customer since 3 years and was genuinely wanting to upgrade to an iPhone 11 at the store but it was only because of this terrible experience, I’m probably never coming back here.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Zero stars. The technician showed up with a modem that is only compatible with Rogers and told me I have to go to the store. Now I've been at the store for over 90min! Because the technician registered the original modem and for some reason they can't figure out how to change it to the new modem. Absolutely hilarious. Worst customer service ever do not get internet from here

edited update. After going home and waiting an hour on the phone I am now being told the store made a mistake and it's easy to transfer it over and I need to drive back to the store.
4 hours of dealing with this and I'm told to go back to the store.

I'd give more stars if I could! After spending 2 hours on the phone with customer service (Amy was awesome) and even speaking to a supervisor (Lewis was mind-bogglingly AWFUL) while in the store, the guys - and gal! - there were AMAZING! Any semblance of fairness had been denied over the phone, and they took a look at my situation and agreed that it was completely unfair and went above and beyond to remedy the situation. Once again proving that in-person customer service trumps online and phone service! Thanks again to everyone for the understanding, help, (and chocolate) today!

Very bad customer service. I bought Huawei mate pro 20 over phone from fido customer service after the girl in this store advice me and told me it is dual sim phone. I inserted 2sim but only one is able to work. I went there back and a guy there started guessing and ends up telling me that he personally dont have Huawei mate pro 20and dont know how to fix it for me. He asked me to go to the mobile clinic and there the guy told me no network provider in canada can sell any mobile with dual sim feature. I went back to the fido office and tge sane guy confermed to me it is dual sim. I asked him to meet the supervisor. He kept going in and out to the back room.i asked him why i cannot meet the supervisor? He said she is busy, can i rake ur phone to her so she can take a look? I told him, no, if she have a time to take a look in the back door then for sure she can do that infront of me. Then he said i think the problem is u cannot use both sim cards together from canada, i told him wt do u mean? He said may be u can use canadian sim and international sim! Then the manager came from inside telling that it was not bought from her store and i have to call the customer service and told me that they have notheing to do, i told her why it is included in the mobile feature dual sim, she said it is from Huawei co.

I have been customer with Fido for 11 years. After 8 years I was forced to change my plan as I was told that the plan I am have will no longer be available.that meant that I would need to pay more. I expressed my disappointment about the fact that I have no choice besides to go something that would cost me more. After talking to retention department, they gave me monthly discount. Just recently I was offered loyalty rewards plan, at least that is what I was told. The customer service operator was quite helpful, she even offered me an additional $5.00 monthly discount per month that did not expire. She was not able to apply it and advised to call back at a later date to have that applied onto my account. Did that over the weekend and was told that is not possible.

I was not able to understand why one operator tells you something different everytime you call them. When called back to find out how does cancellation work, I was told that they will try to see what they can do and that offers will differ from one customer rep to next. When asked about it why, John Smith would offer something than Will Smith, I was told that is not so. It seems that they don't know what they are talking about. Decided to move on. I got fooled once, twice but for sure not the third time. It is not about $5 but rather the principal of the matter. Decided to cancel and move with another provider. I am just a number to them so I am taking the same approach.

Just an awful company to have a a phone/service. For 2 years my phone has had issues and they still haven't helped me. Prices are very expensive. A 1 star is not worthy of the poor experience I have with fido.

Plenty of parking in and around the store. You will want to park by Hudson bay and use the entrance closest to it as it is the closest to the Fido store. Save yourself the walk.

The store was easy to access and the employees were friendly and helpful. Was able to sign up for internet with their help in about 15 mins. As I was in the store a woman came in needing help with an upgrade to her phone and I saw her getting help right away and I heard her saving money with a better plan.

Good location and good staff. Clean store as well.

Never get Fido service! Never trust what they say when you buy their phone or tab. Extremely un-ethical and least knowledgeable staff. I have Fido service for 2 years i was paying around $90 for 2 years and it came down when my tab ended. I added up my wife’s line to get 10% line discount.
I bought the phone and got 2 gift cards (promotional deal) and was told that the additional transfer fees of $35 will be waived. I specifically asked if I have can pay my first bill with these gift cards and they said yes.

After a month when I got my first bill it’s is $200 - out of which $150 is my wife’s bill

So I called Fido and asked them why I have $35 in my bill and they said it can not be waived and we are sorry.

I was like okay what ever so I tried to pay my bill with those gift cards- it didn’t go through so I checked balance in those cards and there is sufficient balance to pay my bill.

I called Fido again and I talked to the representatives- spent 2.5 hours and they flatly refused to help me “with an apology” and they said the 3rd party made promises and they can’t keep them.

I mean million’s of people using this network and that’s how they treat their clients.

Well I would suggest don’t buy anything from Fido but if you do buy then double check right there at the counter what they are offering is correct.

Highly disappointed with there call center and services. I am cancelling my internet and 2 phone lines after December for sure. No more Fido because I am if I was with any other network for 2 years and having all their products they would be more respectful and helpful.

Went to return a modem, and they couldn't find my account, and we're not going to allow me to return the modem, even though to not do so would cost me several hundred dollars.
I saw a sign on the wall behind the agents head saying something about 5 hours of data. I asked her how they measured data in hours, I was told quite huffingly "they don't".
if a special is going to be advertised, it would make sense for the employees to know the details of it.
This is the second morning my returned due to having Fido internet two different addresses, and both times had difficulty cancelling my service and giving them their equipment back. Sure it was cheap, but I would rather pay more money and get better service and reliability.
