Fido's Playground

Fidos is friendly, cost effective and give great personal service. Our pup comes home exhausted, happy and engaged! He can’t wait to get in - and he’s happy when he’s home with his supper dish awaiting because he’s been playing, splashing, rolling, wrestling, and whatever else he is doing, all day! We also used their resident training courses to ensure our pup was well trained from an early age. So friendly, flexible and fun! Highly recommended!

My dog LOVES going here, and Cheryl is the absolute best at doing her nails. Seriously. Our vet has commented on how good they look keep up the awesome work, Fido's team!

Used Fido's training for my dog, the training services were good. Good homework provided to train at home but no guidance or return emails regarding questions. Expect the bare minimum.

I recently just moved to Stratford and my little man Oscar is so anxiety riddled where he never wanted to greet other people, barked at other dogs on walks (he also likes to sing the songs of his people real loud) and ever since my vet recommended trying doggy daycare he has changed so much (not so much the barking and I’m sorry fidos!) he will let people come up and say hello, he doesn’t fly off the wall when he sees another dog and this has all changed since I started bringing him Fidos. I couldn’t recommend them more, they treat every dog with so much care and it shows, I couldn’t have asked for a better place for Oscar to go hang out while I’m at work!

I had the pleasure of having some contract some work in Stratford in June 2022. I had Fido’s playground recommend to me by my client. My dog Poochie is a bichon fries (small Breed) and sometimes I get concerned leaving him. Fido’s Playground welcomed him, and he had the best time ever. We would get close in the morning dropping off, and he was excited to be there. He was tired every night from the all-day activity. I had no worries for his safety and knew he was well cared for by the staff. It is run by people who genuinely care dogs. I would 100% recommend Fido’s Playground for doggie day care needs if you’re in the Stratford area.

I have used them and they are great. Very reliable. Great with the dogs. Will even do nails! A very good place to drop your dog off if you need the day away for something. Nice folks.

We have been taking our Great Dane, Ella, to Fido's for the past 4 yrs. She was a rescue at 2 yrs old, kicked out of 3 homes before we took her - just a few issues! Cheryl knows and loves dogs, and has an innate ability to "read" what's happening with an animal, so can step in before incidents occur. Because of the great large inside area and fenced outside, the dogs are essentially in a big playground all day, with sleeping areas, so they are free to play or just be themselves, under staff supervision. Taking Ella there was the best thing we could do to socialize her, so she learned how to form relationships with dog of all sizes, and didn't need to go into attack mode. She loves going there as much as we enjoy a day off, knowing we are giving her a different kind of day with her own and without us. She can't wait for us to leave when we drop her off. She even has a good looking "boyfriend" there who loves to play big too. Thanks Cheryl and Steve and staff.

Great value for the money. Very knowledgeable and quick to help avoid common pitfalls and ensure the human is as well trained as the dog!

Our little guy loves it here. He's always excited to get in and is never to excited to leave. Very safe and clean place. He always comes home tired and smelling clean (not like I thought he would smell after spending a few hours with other dogs). We've done our puppy class through fidos as well we recommend any course they have to offer here. Very resourceful and instructive. Our training is reinforced while he's at daycare so he doesn't pick up any bad habits. If we have any questions when it come to training or behavioural problems we trust their advice. An amazing alternative for anyone not wanting to keep their pooch in a cage all day while they are at work or maybe have to run errands.
Love it here fully recommend.
