Fielding Dental Healthcare

I have gone here since I was a child, and I have never had a bad experience! Dr. Dave was my dentist for years, and now his son, Dr. Ben, has taken over my care. I have also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Becky a few times. All wonderful dentists who care and are great at what they do. No one likes the dentist, but this office is a pleasure to go to. Every single employee not only has a smile on their face, but they all enjoy the work that they do and you can tell it is a great place to work. They are so accommodating and understanding of any issues you may have. It truly is a great dentist office!

First got introduced to them by a friend when I was 9 months pregnant and had tooth pain. The doctor offered me a free call consultation because it was during Covid and put my mind at ease, not selling anything just telling me what I can do to ease the pain. This really helped and a year later once my baby was a little older I started going there. They’ve done lots of fillings and their consultations are honest and sincere, offering the best solution for you. They’ve been so kind, everyone is very helpful and makes sure you feel comfortable. I would recommend anybody to go there. They truly care and Dr Rebecca has been my absolute favorite.

The staff at this location are absolutely amazing! I recently had a broken crown extracted by Dr. Ben! Normally, I have extreme anxiety going to dentists, due to traumatic experiences in the past! The level of support I received, was second to none! Dr. Ben and his assistant Kathy were wonderful and also Krista, who went over and above, to make my visit a positive experience! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I would highly recommend this location for all your dental needs!

Very impressed with my first experiences with Dr Shum! Getting a new crown completed in two hours was such an improvement over waiting days between appointments elsewhere. Very gentle, great communication and excellent results.

BRUTAL EXPERIENCE at this office with the dentist Erica Shun. She x-rayed my painful tooth and missed that I had a huge infection. She put a filling over it. My entire experience there was painful and awful. I could barely open my mouth or chew food for a week from where she repeatedly and very painfully injected the freezing. Worst dental experience ever. I requested a refund but never heard back from them

I recently had the absolute pleasure of dealing with this incredible dentist! I have always had an incredible fear of dentists. This awesome dr extracted all of my teeth and I have to honestly say I never ever felt a thing! This was the most incredible experience. I honestly can't thank you enough! Thank you so so much!

Great dental team! Very professional and truly caring. I went there for an exam and a filling. The dentist was very thorough and patient and took good care of my tooth. It was a painless experience which rarely is the case for a dental visit! Would absolutely recommend this practice to my family and friends!

My daughter (5) had to have a cavity filled. I was nervous, they made me and my daughter feel very comfortable. Had Dr. Javad (sp?), he was kind and gentle with my daughter, and made her feel at ease. Wonderful dental care.

Man doctor Javad needs to learn the basics of human teeth its not rocket science he must be new poor guy, he needs at least 15 years in experience I'm surprised he is not fired yet

Dr. Javad is not a good dentist he messed up my fillings and missed one crucial tooth that needed to be done, I don't recommend him and watch out for his assistance too she talks behind peoples backs I believe her name is Christina. I miss Dr. Tom he was one of the best I think Dr. Ben is good as well not sure never done my teeth with him before, but did an annual check up with him he was genuine and thorough.

Office manager Carly has such a lovely caring personality, and my daughter raved about her Dentist Ben, she had 3 fillings and said he was so gentle and efficient.

Been going here since I was a little girl. The ladies at the front desk are lovely and personable and the dentists are always polite and professional.

I was driving when I felt one of my tooth fillings chip! I called several Dental clinics in the Burlington area, this was the only place that was able to accommodate me the same day! I was in a lot of pain, wasn't able to chew, nor was I able to drink any liquids (and I was about 7 months pregnant at that time). When I got there, I hardly had to wait. The dentist was amazing! I've avoided seeing a dentist since my last filling (November 2016) as I had such a terrible experience - not being able to chew on my right side for 3 years, tooth sensitivity at the site of the filling. I had seen specialists, orthodontists - no solution. He was very empathetic towards me and took his time to make me feel comfortable so I wouldn't have a negative experience like last time. I was very thankful and appreciative of that. Since then, I'm actually able to eat and chew on my right side! I guess the prior filling was just done poorly. I've made my husband switch dentists as well as a result!

I had a phobia (very serious one) of dentists for 7 years prior to becoming a patient here approximately 3 years ago. I have had many aweful experiences at previous dentists, as I did not care for my teeth well in the past and there was alot of restorative work to do, but I was constantly judged, turned down, overcharged, and in extreme pain everytime I went to other dentists. Plus most dentists would turn me down for my ODSP (disability) coverage. So for 7 years I avoided dentists completely until I was in such pain I had to find one that would be willing to put up with my high anxiety, and endless list of restorative work. I found Dr. Ben at Fielding Dental, and I swear he has been a god send. I only solely had him work on my teeth as he ended up being the only one I trusted for 2 years. He is patient, kind, and EXTREMELY skilled. I love how he does everything from Edo (root canales) to restorative cosmetic work and that I do not need to be referred to a specialist for any dental work, he is qualified in all fields which is AMAZING. I recently saw Dr. Tom and Dr. Erica because and Dr. Ben was booked up- both were completely briefed by Dr. Ben on my ailments and dental history prior to my appointment and it was a huge step in my growth as a patient. Dr. Ben even stopped in briefly to check on me while Dr. Tom was doing some work, pleasantly unexpected! I am no longer dentalphobic. I owe this to Fielding Dental and their team, especially Dr. Ben. He is so compassionate, and so skilled that I have almost zero anxiety when I go in for a root canale or just a quick fix. To top it off, amazing front desk staff, amazing hygienists (they all know me by name now) and amazing response when I email with questions or concerns-they reply within an hour usually via email! They always accomodate my busy schedule, and to top it off they have amazing decor, and TVs on every ceiling above each chair with headphones to watch any tv show you want! I could not have asked for a better dentist then Fielding Dental Healthcare, truly so grateful for everything they have done for me, and I will likely never leave them!

The service from the waiting room to the dental chair is top notch. For kids there’s train that goes around the rooms at the ceiling. My son loves this place. Awesome.

I recently had my teeth cleaned by Dr. Tom and his assistant Jennifer. It had been awhile since my last visit with him. Although he was alone and running the complete show himself I was amazed how professionally upbeat he was. Both Tom and Jennifer have earned my continued loyalty. They have exceeded my expectations and the service was impeccable. I will definitely return for future visits and my fear of dentists has been put to rest. I've been going to Fielding Dental Healthcare since I was very young. Everytime I go my experience is great. The staff is super friendly and the treatments I've received have all been performed in a professional manor. Any dental issues are fully explained so that I can make an informed decision about next steps.

I love the level of service I receive from Fielding Dental. I cracked a back tooth and was in a lot of pain. I needed a new crown fast. I really appreciated how quickly they booked me in. I also appreciated getting my new crown in one (just under two hours) appointment. I was back to my regular routine so fast and was able to enjoy my weekend painfree. Very helpful, friendly staff, Judy is gentle and thorough. Dr. Tom is very patient and professional. I have been going through Invisalign teeth straightening and it is going fabulous! Dr. Tom has been very thorough in monitoring and adjusting treatment. My mouth feels so much better, easier to floss, most of all the time you spend in the chair for a cleaning. The cleaning time and effort gets less, because of less crowding. I don't bite the inside of my rt cheek, or my tongue anymore. I wear the trays religiously, they my teeth feel better when the trays are in. It has not been a hardship at all, and will be worth it in the end. Can't say enough about the service and great people who work here.

I haven't been to a dentist for 18 months & was referred to Fielding Dental by a co-worker. I am extremely pleased with their friendly efficient service, my cleaning was excellent & the work done on my teeth was exceptional. They also worked to stay within the limits of my dental plan which is greatly appreciated. I'm actually happy to go to the dentist now.

I have been receiving excellent service from Dr Fielding for over 25 years. The staff are incredibly professional, intelligent and sensitive. They must do homework regarding clients vocations, interests and family makeup. That personal touch means a lot. I am always impressed how when Dr Fielding first walks into the room he takes a few minutes to ask how you are etc. During each and every procedure he acts in his professional capacity of dentist but also instructor. As he works he describes exactly what he is doing. Always a teaching moment. Kudos to him and all the staff.

My husband and I love this dental office. Dr. Tom is the most considerate, friendliest, and gentlest dentist we've ever had. The dental hygienists are also amazing and gentle. Front desk staff are friendly, efficient and get you in quick when there's an emergency. The office is very modern.

I've been going to Feildings office since I was 5 years old, and now I'm 28 years old I've never had one bad opinion or dentist visit. They are great when it comes to meeting my needs especially when I'm a baby when it comes to the dentist and helping me through my cleanings and cavities. I recently just went through on getting Invisalign and they have been so great. They took the time and went through my plan with me and made sure I was happy with where we were going before starting my treatment. They are all so wonderful will always recommend them to anyone I know.

Their staff is nice. Most dentists working there great. Most, alas, not all.

Today I had an appointment with the new team member and he was horrible. He put pressure on my jaw and face that made it very hard to breath - so I raise my hand, so he'll stop. He doesn't stop. He keeps going, telling me it will only hurt a bit longer, like 30 seconds. I start waving, trying not to move too much as he IS drilling into my mouth.

He finally stops as I begin to panic at him. And I say, I could barely breath - look I could barely breath. His response? Try some laughing gas next time so you don't panic. Panic? Yes, because I like breathing. Gas won't help me breath. What a horrible man who doesn't understand STOP, I was withdrawing my consent at that moment. SO STOP. His condescending nature, lack of any discussion with me and no sign of understanding/empathy was appalling.

So.go with Dr. Erica or Dave. Avoid this jerk.
