Finan Swim School

Great swim school - smaller ratio swim lessons, more personal learning experiences, flexibility with moving time slots, schedules, clean change rooms, offer seating amenities outside the pool area. Lots of lighting inside pool area.

My daughter is learning to swim with them. The trainers are great. Unfortunately, the place smells very bad, the air conditioners don't work it's to hard to continue at the summer season.

The instructor: Siva that works with my son is amazing and doing great job with teaching skills.

So happy with the decision to take our son to Finan! The Supersonic program is awesome. Both his skills and confidence have already significantly improved!

It been worse experience for us from last few months, some of the staff is super racist. They always made my kids uncomfortable for using washrooms and during the lessons.

We love Finan swim school! My daughter is excited each week for swim lessons and currently her instructor is Amy and she adores her! Amy really challenges her and gives her more independence to improve her swim skills while keeping it fun and engaging. Thank you Finan team!

Finan swim school has been an amazing experience for my son! His teacher Kristen is wonderful. She made him feel comfortable his first lesson since he was a little shy. He now enjoys going each week and I can't wait to see him learn more in future classes. I really enjoy the small group. He only has two other swimmers with him for each class. Thank you Finan for providing swim lessons!

The best lessons that my daughter took so far. Glad that we made this decision. My daughter’s skill in swimming has improved %80 since she started about a year ago or less. The staff are nice and well organized, the facility is well maintained and clean.

A year ago, my kid was struggling to get into the pool. Now swimming lessons are one of her favorite parts of the week. Would strongly recommend to anyone with nervous kiddos

A fun environment with lots of learning

5 stars for my daughter's instructor, Elizabeth. She's cheerful and energetic which helps my daughter to do her best in class. My daughter enjoys her class and improved a lot. -1 star in general because the quality that instructors give are not consistent (quality depends based on instructor). My daughter had instructors who look like they do not want to give lessons or they look jaded and would rather be somewhere else.

My 3 kids have had amazing results with just 2 weeks of super sonic classes (1 year apart). Monika is a fabulous instructor that the kids really enjoyed working with and each staff member is kind, polite and wonderful with kids. We will happily return!

My daughter was really happy with her teacher Gray. Her back crawl looks amazing! In just one week She was able to go all the way without help. Thanks Gray for all your hard working.

Finan swim class is wonderful place to learn swimming. My daughter enjoys learning to swim there and her progression has been wonderful so far.

I am so happy with Finan swim school. My daughter has always been super comfortable in the water with a float, but couldn’t swim on her own. Silva is an incredible swim teacher and has taught my daughter in only a few weeks to swim on her own. She is confident when she jumps in and has shown so much improvement since learning here. Thank you for such amazing staff and a great facility!

We had a great experience with our first week at Finan Super Sonic classes. Our two boys loved it. The water was warm, and the hour flew by. Our instructor Aya took the time to carefully show the boys how to improve their technique. The 3: 1 kids to instructor ratio is so key! Thanks Aya and Finan!

I love Finan Swim school. My son was very scared of the water at first. Now he jumps into the pool excitedly. I have seen the most significant progress in his skills since he has had Siva as an instructor. Siva is encouraging, makes my son practice properly and makes the lessons fun as well. Siva's ability to bond and work with children is amazing. You have an excellent instructor with him.

Complete lack of any COVID safety procedures. Was told they will not offer make ups - they said we were welcome to attend with any symptoms/fever.

This school is great! Siva is doing a wonderful job - I have seen real growth in my daughter's ‍️. He really pushes her to do her best!

We came to Finan Swim School to help my daughter get comfortable putting her face in the water. Her teacher, Siva, quickly built a good relationship with her and is always encouraging and positive. And, she has her face in the water!

Our son really enjoys his lesson with Siva. Siva has helped our son become alot more independent in the water.

My son has been learning swimming with Finan for quite some time now. He enjoys swimming and looks forward to his classes every week. His instructors have changed a few times since he started, however everyone was good and professional, and some of them are really kid friendly.

My kids love going there, the method used to teach the kids to swim works very well. Instructors are very knowledgeable in working with the kids. The place is clean and welcoming.

The facilities are good and the teachers are wonderful. They take a lot of effort to ensure that each student gets attention. I love the way they interact with young children to get them started. My son has been getting swim lessons with them for almost 6 months now and has made a lot of progress. He looks forward to his classes and enjoys learning from his teacher, Hayden Aziz. Hayden is patient and creates a fun-learning environment for the kids.

Davida and Sarah are both amazing teachers. Our kids enjoy coming to their lesson more because of them. Davida is great teacher for level 2-3 and Sarah is great if your kid is a beginner:) we are happy here, all staff are nice and attentive!

The facility is great! The warm pool, the nice staff, and the very personal attention to every kid is precious!

It is a much smaller pool then the ymca or other public pools, but for learning to swim it’s perfect!
The pool is a good depth so the the instructors can walk with the child
They are very small classes so a lot of one on one time spent with the child.
The pool is very warm to! It was a much better approach to lessons then we had at the YMCA and I’m glad we made the switch!

My 2.5 year old loves his weekly 1/2 hour Parent Tot sessions! We hoped to get him in as a baby but with covid that didn't work out. Finan lets us stay in the parent Tot class to built those skills and doesn't push for moving up. My son is a bit slow picking some stuff up but they are always kind about it and just help him keep going

My (almost) 4 year old daughter had her very first swim lesson and loved it. The instructor was great and my daughter did more in her first half hour lesson than she ever has before. We are both really looking forward to next week's lesson!

My 2year old and 4 year old do swimming lessons and they love it. My kids are younger so they are quiet busy and easily distracted but the instructor is very patient with them. My two year old was initially very scared when he saw the pool but by the 2nd class he was crying because he didn't want to leave. Great job Finan and hats off to the wonderful staff.

My both kids enjoyed their experience with Finan Swimming School, they showed progress in their swimming skills in just few days! We absolutely loved it and recommend to everyone. Aye was my daughter's favorite instructor, Gray was amazing too with my son.

We love our instructor Jen from Finan Swim School. She’s giving outdoor lessons for our three grandchildren in our own pool. Private lessons for each and with two weeks - 8 classes - they have added so many skills to their repertoire. We worked with Kyla to schedule and she could not have been more helpful or professional. I would highly recommend Finan.

Great experience! We were really impressed with the progress and the teachers were so patient with our nervous little swimmer!

I went here and had to cancel after our first lesson. The Trainer & Staff are not the problem. It is the change rooms. They are not equipped or set up for social distancing nor is there a safe place to put down your baby. I found out after cancelling of a number of mothers who have had the same complaint as me and canceled. Finan do not seem to address or make efforts to improve the situation by installing change tables with straps in the change room. (There's actually no change tables in the change room, there is one outside of it in the middle of the lobby). No refund was offered either which is disappointing as really I didn't feel it was safe to bring my daughter here based on the above, so when someone has to cancel for a repeat issue this facility has - a refund should be offered. I'm sure this place is great for older kids though.

My twins have been taking lessons for only two weeks and they loved it. They can't wait for their next class. The instructors are amazing!

My kids have been taking lessons for 4 years now. They progress fast and love going. The instructors are great. I appreciate that they wear face shields (which is not comfortable or ideal as a swimming instructor) in order for the kids to be able to swim.

All three of my kids are enrolled in swim classes here (ages 1-7), and we couldn't be happier with our experiences here. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. The instructors are patient, fun, and kind. My kids can't wait for swim class each week.

My son, just started at Finan Swimming School. After 4 - 5 sessions, now he can swim more than 10 ft without help and he has gained real confidence. I am extremely happy with the nice staff and his AMAZING teacher Kendal is very patient and kind with him. Thank you all.
