Complete scammers, went in to have my winter tires put on and they didn’t even do that properly only changed out 3 of them. Charged me for more work than I consented to and replaced all the bolts on my tires saying they were seized even though I just got my breaks done a week ago and that mechanic had no issues removing them. When I disputed the work the owner got extremely rude with me and refused to talk to me when I brought up not consenting to all this work and walked into the shop. NEVER GO TO THEM!

This place should be shut down. Stay away. There are many many many better shops to go get repairs done. At one time, maybe decades ago workmanship and customer appreciation may have meant something here, but definitely not now. Please go elsewhere

Stay away! The mechanics have no idea what they’re doing. My daughter needed a radiator, they said they knew how to install it. Didn’t know that the coolant needed to be evaced in because there wasn’t a radiator cap on this car. Instead they insisted she blew a head gasket. They are clueless. Now we have to have the car towed to another garage to be fixed. Overcharge for shotty labor. Find a mechanic that knows what they’re doing and won’t charge you for shotty work.

I blew a tire today on the way to work. Staff was very friendly and got me in quickly and back on the road.

Avoid at all costs. Terrible mechaincs. The owner is a crook. Did work without authorization. Didnt diagnose anything properly. Quoted 3x as much as my mechanic, only reason i went through this clown is because my warranty company gave me 2 options, this idiot being one of them. STAY AWAY

Thanks again, Paul to the rescue. This time I needed a special lug nut socket for my wife’s car that has custom rims to which I busted the socket putting on her winters. This socket isn’t the kind you can pick up anywhere, as I found after going to several parts places. Dropped in by chance to see Paul and problem solved and tonight the job got completed. I live way out in Wainfleet now but I would easily drive down when I need tires or work done to Finlayson because they have never let me down.
