I had the pleasure of speaking to Ro and having a few items appraised. He was very personable and knowledgeable and was satisfied with the outcome of items I had brought. Now I wish I had brought all the items I had intended to be appraised but was working and I didn’t really come prepared due to time constraints on my end. Overall, a good experience and would recommend Finley’s services. Thanks Ro!

Went for an appraisal and was offered well below scrap pricing. No testing for gold or silver was done, other than using a magnet. Appraiser was not knowledgeable and said none of my silver piece's were collectable even though I looked up sold comparables on ebay. I have a silver piece that sold for $95 on ebay and was offered $10 for it. Fortunately, I was knowledgeable enough to avoid being taken advantage of.

Discussion before hand about what to expect. Was given right to decline or accept offer without feeling guilted. No pressure. Very fair.

Pleased with my appraisal meeting today with Bouch. She carefully examined everything I brought in and offered a fair price. Would bring items to Finley again. Thank you!

Had a very positive and frankly fun experience turning some of my late parents' treasures (coins, silverware, watches, jewellery) into cash. I would do it again if more treasures turn up.

This was my first experience bringing my old coins, jewelry and precious gems that I have been holding on to for years. Ro was appreciative, polite and welcoming. He understood the emotions I was feeling and was honest about items worth selling, or worth keeping for nostalgia sake. He valued all my items but did not pressure me to sell. He suggested I take time to think about what I really would like to sell, now knowing the value of the items. He gave me the Finley business card and invited my questions anytime for their advice. The Finlay agent was very knowledgeable and pleasant at the same time. We were within 5 minutes of our appointment time seeing her. The check-out was transparent and efficient.

Crooks and more crooked ways. First and last time with this company. One of the primo items was a Danish Sterling Silver dinner set never used. First offer was for $400 which went to $800 and finally $1000 before we left. Doing an internet search and itemizing each piece and we came up with a total value of $18,000 US which as a set expect perhaps half this amount on a sale but many more times than what was offered by the Finley rep. People run the other way as there are better ways to sell items of value.

I went to one of the travelling events, had reviewed their website and read that they estimate each piece tell you what it's worth and then tell you how much they could give you, no pressure etc.nope. They lumped all my gold together and gave me a total offer, never gave me the value or differentiation from piece to piece. Total was lower than I expected, given the current price of gold. Then they started telling me why I would be ripped off at the jewelry stores. I decided to think about it overnight. Stopped in at Oliver on my way home and was offered twice as much for the same items. I know where I will go in the future

Met them in Spruce Grove, AB to buy my coins. Received a fraction of what I could have got from what my research has now shown. My mistake for trusting this company. Not a happy customer!

They offered my cousin one third of what we were expecting we went to Barrys jewellers in Burlington and they gave me 10% more than what i was expecting not very impressed with finleys ty for wasting my cousins time
