I had a pair of custom long tube headers ceramic coated some years back. The steel had some surface rust so I specifically asked if it would still be okay to coat the headers. I was reassured multiple times that it would be fine. I went ahead with the coating and installed them. The next spring I noticed orange seeping through the coating. The spring after that the coating started to peel off in places. I explained what was happening and the company agreed to recoat them which they did. The next summer, orange was once again appearing. They said it is common and that you have to clean them with a scouring pad and seal with silicone spray while in storage. Had I known this, I never would have had the headers coated. How are you supposed to use a scouring pad to clean headers that are bolted to your engine, especially in front of the collector? The coating has stayed on this time, but it really grinds at me every time I see the orange on my $1200 custom headers. So far, I have spent 12 hours of my time on these things plus the cost of the coating and I still hate looking at them. HUGE mistake.

I’d just like to thank Mark and his Crew at Fireball Powder Coating, I have had multiple items powder coat from him and has never disappointed. I most recently did a restoration on my Kawasaki KX250, I had him powder coat the frame, pegs, swing-arm, triple clamps, and frame guards, and had him ceramic coat the exhaust pipe. Mark was great at advising me on not introducing to many colours to keep a consistent flow (I wanted to do bright candy orangish-red on the triple clamps). He showed me a sparkly bronze that I just loved, and fit the bikes colour scheme so much better. Furthermore, Mark was able to work with my time schedule and squeeze me in, he had the frame ready for me first, so I could start re-assembly, then had the miscellaneous parts ready two business days later (all bolt holes were covered, and the parts were nice wrapped in cellophane) i.e. Ceramic coated exhaust pipe, swing-arm, etc. I have just under 100hr on the bike since re-assembly (April 2018) and I haven’t been able to find a chip, scratch or flaw. One issue and it’s a small issue is my soft soles on my motocross boots do leave black scuff marks on the frame guards, but these wash off with the pressure washer.

I would definitely recommend Fireball to anyone wanting to protect and maintain a good-looking vehicle

I called during the week, twice, to confirm that I would be bringing parts on the Friday at 4pm. (During their posted hours)

Business was closed, no signage, nothing. Nothing to show for my three hour drive.

At least leave a note or something.

I broke my rim on my mustang GT and I order a brand new rim from a Ford parts dealer and instead of giving me gloss rims they gave me matte black. I called up Mark at fireball and I asked him for the same day rush and he got my rim gloss black within 2 hours and it looks great. Excellent service! I will defiantly coming back and recommending friends. I'm from missississuag and I came all the way out to his business because he had the best price and service. Thank you mark
