Firehouse Subs London Wellington South

Ordering online never works even when the store is open. Uber charges $4 minimum more for a large sub than they do on their own site

Well, I was surprised that my beef brisket wasn't as fresh as it usually is as I've been to many firehouse subs locations in the past. I did order for takeout and most people will say well that's why but I always order for takeout and never had a mediocre sub from firehouse by the time I get to my destination which is usually around 5 min. I felt like the meat wasn't as hot and fresh, maybe just the time of the night. Who knows. Will go back. Maybe it was just a one-off.

Not impressed, tried a few subs imo no different than subway in terms of quality of ingredients which sucks, just different combinations of toppings. Half the time they can't even put the meat on the bun properly, or they forget your side of pickle or just plain make a sub that looks like hot garbage. They heat the meat in a microwave in parchment paper or something and then slop it onto your sandwich by hand. Absolutely ridiculous concept.

Awesome all the way around. The young gal that is the supervisor or manager is so great. She rocks things like a true lady boss. Fixed one of our sub par sandwiches immediately. This is our now preferred stop off for a quick bite. Really great food. Even better service. 5*'s 100%.

Your subs put Subway to shame along with their service!

Every time I walk in Firehouse subs on Wellington Rd, I get treated like i was an owner ordering from my employees. They are so kind, it doesn't matter what time of day, what day of the week. You get great food and tender cuts of meat. The food is always great.
I always look over at the pictures of the firemen fighting the Pattons Place fire on Exeter Road (back then it was called 135). Dave Pollard and Norm Poole were photo'd by the London Free Press. Dave was my dad. He passed in 2021 from breathing problems, a little from pneumonia leaks, but mostly from too much smoke inhalation. Back then, breathing apparatus wasn't all that safe, if any. I am very proud of my Chief Dave Pollard, and each and every fireman and first responders.

They have quickly become my favourite sub shop in London. The foods great, and the staff are unbelievable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal.

Last time I was there the service was extremely slow. Only one other family of 3 ahead of us and we waited at least 30 minutes to get our subs. Could have been longer. Some poor guy who walked in by himself was told he will have to wait about 10 minutes before they could take his order.
Staff moved very slowly, only near the end did I see them start to pick up the pace.

Overrated Subs. New York Steamer: 6.2/10. Italian: 6.5/10. Meatball (Worst Meatball Sub from a major chain I've had) : 6.1/10. Hook & Ladder (Basically a turkey sub) : 6.8/10.

Great subs and good service. It was busy but the staff kept everyone informed about the progress of their order.

Wonderful experience, the gentleman who took our order was so helpful and pleasant and the lady who prepared our sandwich was so sweet! This was such a breath of fresh air! Everywhere service has suffered since covid so to have such a positive experience felt great!

Had to go in there 3 times to get my order right, just got my money back and left!
Find new employees!

Had another disappointing experience with Firehouse Subs. Initially went to the Wonderland so location to order two subs. They weren't answering the phone for an order and when I finally went in they did not have enough ingredients to make my sandwiches. Then I went to the Wellington Road location with the same order. I ordered a double meat brisket sandwich and when I got it it had no sauce or cheese or anything on it. Just a big dry sandwich that cost me $20. We also ordered an 8-in meatball sub and got charged for a 12 in. I've had a few bad experiences with Firehouse Subs and it's a shame because we love the food but the service is not very good. I guess it's back to subway for me.

Just placed a lunch order for my office and the gentleman who answered the phone was so friendly, efficient and helpful!
