Took 27 minutes from the time we ordered to receive our food, VERY DISAPPOINTING! Wasn't even busy, there were only 2 orders ahead of ours (our order was 2 subs, nothing special, the people ahead of us all had one or two subs so not sure why it was so EXCRUCIATINGLY slow to recieve said two subs!) don't mind waiting for quality, but almost half an hour wait is absolutely ridiculous. Will not be returning to this location!
My Engine Co sub was great, as typically. However, we should have double checked the other sub BEFORE we left. Once home, found that the Bacon Ranch sub had white instead of requested wheat. Still tasted good.
I love firehouse but always tooo much time we have to wait for order. Main thing was only one employee is making all order i have shift but i have to wait for 30 mins for only one medium sub. That was not good. I thing management must.visit nd check it
I wish the lady at the counter would have told me it would be 35 minutes before I would get my sub. There are only 2 people working in this large space and the line at the time was not that long. When I finally got my sub it was messy and not up to the high standards that firehouse claims to have. This was my first experience with this place and I believe it will be my last. I would recommend that there should be more employees working during the lunch period.
I usually love firehouse but you should avoid this particular location. We ordered 3 subs. All the subs were wrong. They managed to mix and match all 3 orders. It's kind of amazing how wrong they managed to make them.
It was very unpleasant experience at this place with misleading website and inefficient staff.
We wanted our order to be quick so ordered online. When started ordering online at around 6: 50pm, it said 7pm picktime but by this time we finished ordering the pick up time updated to 7: 20pm. The website is misleading. Dont ever order here online.
We showed up early to pick up and was okay to wait inside. But, order was not delivered at 7;20pm. Then, went to the pickup counter at 7;25pm with no one attending. Then, finally got the sub at 7: 30pm. There is no coordination between the staff and no respect to customer. They give priority to Uber eats and not the walk-ins.
I selected no pickle since I was allergic to it but it was added. Sub tasted good but the price is not worth for the quality and service.
Worst place to get subs in the town. Totally unhygienic environment. Unprofessional staff not welcoming the customers.they are just there to have bad impact on the business. Not returning to the same location ever
One of my first stops every time I'm in Ontario. Would love to see them go Canada wide. Hands down the best subs you'll find anywhere combined with fantastic customer service. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.
We waited over 20 minutes tonight for our 2 sandwiches. We usually order online, but the website is terrible and was not able to order online this time, but decided to go in and order anyways. After waiting so long for 2 sandwiches, the sandwiches were mixed up with each other, neither one was the correct order. Also, the employees were not being polite to each other, making this entire experience extremely disappointing and frustrating.
Understaffed, went in at lunch ordered a medium sub, took 30 minutes before I finally asked what was going on, they misplaced my order and tried to give me a refund but they didn’t know how and they were too busy so I paid $20 for nothing after waiting a half hour.
Had club on a sub at the other location before, loved it. Tried Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket and broccoli soup on a Saturday afternoon, it was very busy, waited at least 15 mins, sub was pressed too hard so bread was a bit soggy, and soup was too thick, not a good experience, doesn’t seem worth it
Top notch subs- priced accordingly. The thinly sliced meats really make the flavour pop. A bit of a wait for your meal sometimes (they steam and toast the buns and don't slap them together quickly like the cheap sub restaurants). Always worth the visit.
Tastes great! But long wait to get your food lately. They seem swamped with pickup orders. I waited at least 20 minutes after ordering and it wasn't incredibly busy.
Our first time eating here. The staff were friendly and helped us figure out the menu easily. The storefront was bright, cheerful, and clean. The food was yummy and in a compostable package, so no waste.
Note to self for next time - the sub isn't wrapped tight, so keep it level when carrying home to keep the filling in one place:)
First time and never again! After a 40min wait to get subs I spent the next 2days in ER with my 9yr old daughter getting blood work, altra sound, X-rays, urine sample as well as stool sample to find out it was very bad food poisoning for my 9yr old daughter and myself with a lighter case of food poisoning.
I accidentally ordered from the through Uber eats. Instead of the location closer to my house. I cancelled the order 5 seconds after it went through, they claimed they had already prepared my order and charged me anyways. Bunch of rats.
I just had the chicken gyro sub and it was life changing. This was also the first time I've ever been to firehouse, but I always hear my colleagues raving about it. I am SO impressed!
Omg, I’m glad real firemen don’t take as long to get to a fire as it takes for a Firehouse location to make subs. Why are there so many people behind the counter and only one person is making subs? I’m not sure I can do Firehouse subs anymore with amount the of waiting involved. They do make great subs though.
This I the place to get your subs. Subway can't touch the taste and quality that Furehouse pumps out. The wait times can be lengthy at busy times but you are able to call ahead for pickup to speedup your wait time.
Favourite place to get a delicious meal in the area. Personally love the beef and cheddar brisket it is like tasting heaven in your mouth! If you have never tried it before you need to go right away.
I absolutely love firehouse subs, they make subway look like garbage. Employees were super nice and I had quick, efficient service. Keep up the great work!
This was our first time ordering from Firehouse. Sorry to say our experience was terrible and it was our first and last time ordering from here! Ordered 2 kids combos with chocolate chip cookies, and firehat, large sub, salad and 2 chips. They didnt have any chocolate chip cookies and offered brownies instead, only we didnt get any cookies or brownies or firehats. I went back once to get the firehats, didnt want disapointed grandkids, only to get home and find there were no cookies either. I then called the store tonly to get a rude response a d unsatisfactory resolution.
Amazing subs. Hands down best in town. It's always busy and there's always a line for this reason. However the workers are very fast and still provide great service.
Came in to order food and got told I would have to wait 45 mins standing in the store due to the fact that they would be making my order after all their deliveries ect. I won't be coming back. If you can't serve your customers in store maybe you shouldn't be open at all. I won't be coming back due to this.
The staff was not very nice, when we walked in there was about maybe 6 other customers in the store, and when I went to order I was told that it would be a 25-30 minuet wait. That is ridiculous to make a SANDWICH. I personally have worked at fast food sandwich chains and even with that amount of people in the store I would assume a 10 maybe 15 minute wait at most. I will not be coming to this location again, not worth the wait.
Better than the "other" chain sub places. More variety. Smoked meat is good, so is the steak, and the brisket subs. Decent selection of toppings. Big subs if you're hungry.
Service is friendly and fast. Doing a fine job of social distancing measures.
This location is SO rude! We ordered takeout for 3 subs (veggie, Italian and Italian on gluten free). We get a notification that the veggie is apparently out of stock.so they cancelled only just that sub.well I had nothing to eat then so we tried to call the location to figure out a substitute and the lady put us on hold for over 30min and then hung up. When we attempted to call back multiple times she wouldn't answer until we finally did get through (5-8 calls later) she began to yell at us because it was "our fault"? And that "if we wanted a substitute we should have called"? Which is what we were and had been trying to do for over an hour. Not to mention I think it should be the responsibility of them to contact us and notify us why they couldn't fulfill the order. She actually SCREAMED at me over the phone and then hung up on me. Like I'm actually shocked this person was employed.
Love this location and the employees great place friendly people always helpful food is amazing won’t eat at another sub place again EVER. Such friendly and helpful staff no complaints at all.
Put in a order at 5 to be ready at picked up at 545 got there on time like they told on the website ended up being told it wasn’t ready cool whatever happens. But this is where I am not happy.a staff but multi orders on your heater and didn’t tell us it was ready we waited until 610 to find out it was just sitting there. Will not be coming to this location ever again.

The food is pretty good but the service is lacking. Two out of four meals ordered were wrong. We waited 12 minutes for those meals to come out and have been waiting 8 minutes so far for the corrected subs. I’ll let you know if they ever arrive.
They greet you when you walk in, the food is amazing. The subs literally melt in your mouth, it's real meat and bread. A medium sandwich actually fills you up nicely. Super clean still and cozy. Love the fact that they support our firefighters.
I have visited three times, each time I had the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket. The subs were good, the first time the sub was packed with meat. The second time there seemed to be less meat and the third time even less. They may be just getting things figured out as a new location, but I will likely think twice before going again.
Normally they are great but today I thought we went into subway by mistake. The subs only had half the meat they normally have, the girl asked how they are and we tired to tell her after informing her she smiled and said good and attempted to walk away, we called her back and explained that if you ask a question the least you can do is listen to the answer. Very disappointing today.
