My experience with this company was so bad that I have to write this review. My lease ended Dec 2022 and I left the unit on Dec 31st. Fast forward 4 months and I still haven’t got my security deposit back. I visited the office and they said they can’t even look at my file because it takes a long time. There property managers change every year and I’m left with no answers at the end. I have been trying to contact the new property manager since 4 months. He answered the first time and after that started ignoring my calls for 2 months straight. I went on vacation and came back and still no answer. I visited the office and they said they will work on it and that was mid March. I’m still waiting on someone to issue a cheque that I’m owed. If you or anyone you know that wants to get in business with this company, I suggest you don’t and look for a different one. If I was late on paying the monthly rent, I would get reminder emails or the property manager would say that he can come pick up the cheque in person. That time I wasn’t allowed to be late and now they want to be 4 months late paying back the deposit. Looking at all the reviews, I realized this is not there first rodeo. They keep on dragging it and giving you false hopes. I’m not sure what else I can do to get my money back but I just wanted to leave this review so no one else gets scammed by this PRIVATE Corporation!

I would like to give a 0 star if I could. I’m applying my application to take over the lease. I prepared all the documents they required. But then it can’t be made it so I asked to cancel my application. Then the employee said that she new and she deposited my cheque by a mistake. I know the law if the application is haven’t approved yet, they can’t deposit the cheque or keep them almost 4 weeks like this. I try to call many time to the Ottawa office, the lady did the mistake named Christina, she talk to me like I’m very annoyed even she the one did the mistake. And the property manager named Nowell is the same, she asked to help me with that, then I wait for her call but she didn’t call back to me. Few days later I call then Christina said she was sick. About the head office in Toronto, I asked to speak whoever responsible for the cheque was never answer the phone, then I call the HR office is the same. I read some other reviews of this company, a lot of people got the same case like me.

I love renting from Firm Capital. They’re very fair and responsive. I was having a small issue, and Leslie Dadouch personally made sure it was fixed the next day. I was so impressed.

Great service with competitive rates and fees. Firm Capital looks out for their clients' best interest and provides a variety of solutions through their various products and services.

One of the best companies to work for. Team work is everything and we have a great team.

A lot of these reviews are misleading, two sides to every story and I've never had any issues.

Just received another email from Leslie Dadouch. He just can't help himself. He's a bully, a liar and completely dishonest. I am an extremely disabled person who lives on a very meager pension. I can barely afford the lot lease payments as they've hike then up so high in 2 years time. $535 - $775 and no repairs or upgrades to speak of within the park. I had a water breakage and had a big fight on my hands with Aviva and then beyond any control of my own Firm Capital starts with the eviction threats. My yard was an issue, I had a large wast bin in my driveway for too long. The list went on with this company and then the park managers started telling lies and we were warned about things we had no clue of. Leslie Dadouch, Sherry and Ernie Holloway are absolutely the worst people I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Stay away from anything related to this company.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. 2 weeks ago I did a virtual tour with a lady named Ruzica from Westbury Rentals who then sent me an application form for a property I loved at 2-12 Kingston Rd Toronto. It took me 2 hours to do the application with all the required documents in which I was supposed to send to a "Joel Cash" and "Natisha" including a money order of the full amount. Such a shady company! I dont understand why forst im talking to Westbury then Firm Capital. Got me to do a money order getting my hopes up that the unit is mine, had to pay extra $ to change the money oprder twice to the appropriate "address/name" and then all of these people disappeared literally for 2 weeks keeping me waiting and STILL never heard from them after various calls and emails. The one time I spoke directly to Natisha she had no idea about my application which was concerning and my partner spoke to Joel Cash and he said he couldn't help us. I dont know why we were assigned to these people then. It feels like a mafia vibe something isn't right. Such a waste of time I could have spent searching for other apartments. Stay away from this company

If I could give this company a less than 1 star I would. This company is the most unprofessional company as a business owner to have ever dealt with.

Our company was called in May to do EMERGENCY work at Sunpark Hidden Valley Estates in Woodstock Ontario.

It is now October the 11th and after the park supervisor at Sunpark Hidden Valley Estates tried several times to get payment from Head Office (Debbie Wood) and every time the response was the cheque is in the mail.

Myself and my Husband owner of Woodstock Tree and Stump Removal attempted ourselves to call Debbie Wood with no response.
We Emailed, no response.
We called, no response.
Called Head office they put us thru to a ridiculous voicemail. No response.

So, we attempted to text her and with shock she responded as she had no idea who she was responding to.

After her speech of company changes blah blah blah again she stated 2.5 weeks ago the cheque was in the mail. Shocking 4.5 months after the completion of work we still have no cheque from them or any attempt to pay us.

This is completely unacceptable and now for EMERGENCY work that our company performed for them at their request, we now have to get our lawyers involved.

Stay far far away from Firm Capital.

Criminal organization. You would be better to lease land from the mafia. Arbitrary denials of buyer applications. Firm capital makes profit dollars off denying applications for lease when owners try to sell. They do not file forms or follow landlord and tenant laws.

Sunpark Beaver Ridge. Three years ago, they spent millions to patch the waterline problems. This past week, 6 days without a shower, trickle of water from tap, buying water, they are putting in temporary lines, just another patch job. I'm a senior having to buy and carry water. Not happy at all.

Contract means nothing to Firm Capital. Stay far away from the Buildings managed by Firm Capital Corp. Building Management is bunch of greedy Gangsta. They ignored the lease agreement and rental increase limit by different excuses. If you do not agree to their unreasonable wrongdoings, the building staff will harass you forever, very low. Cannot believe there is such thing in a rule of law country. I would put 0 if there is a such option.

Based on my personal experience dealing with them (from director, property manager to building super), this is a TOXIC company! They never follow the contract, ignore the law, I feel like dealing with greedy gangsters.
This company is not even worth one star.

Horrible service. Do not recommend whatsoever. Do not listen to your situation to find a product that fits you best, employees are so rude, and look for what's in it for them rather than the actual client. Avoid at all costs.

Wish I would have checked this first prior to renting from this company.
Watch out for the bait and switch contracts (proposed and actual).
Commercial landlords are known to be opportunists, this one is no exception.
Rents out old rundown buildings as has the tenants pay to fix the old infrastructures! Tries to collect bills already paid, accounting dept lost, sends bailiffs to your location when you are not in agreement with extra charges.
Confused way of doing business to confuse you to pay more…

It's the 10th no plumbing in washroom sink place dirty. Fridge dirty. And broken gaps in windows. All was supposed to be fixed before I moved in on first. Got a three month old and 8vyear old. This is messed
