First Choice Haircutters

These people should relearn or LEARN the skills before actually being reliable enough when it comes to dealing with skin or hair. I went here to get a haircut, they are so impatient and so dumb when they where supposed to be the experts.

The workers are so racist and unprofessional at what they do. They always look like they are ready to just argue and ruin a persons day and hair/ skin / whatever they do. No one I knew had ever actually said anything good about this place and after I experienced going there. I too can’t say a single thing good about this place. DON’T GO HERE!

Crystal did a very nice job and took her time. More care and attention to detail than you would expect from a chain haircutter.

I come here for a good blow out especially if I have a job interview or an occasion

I recently moved to Pickering and was looking for a local hair cut, with ptsd and face tatts it's difficult to find welcome business', I was extremely impressed on how welcoming all the staff are. When it came to my cut she was warm and helped me feel comfortable as it's always Alward on both ends. I would highly recommend this location as staff are fantastic. Very pleased with me cut as well.

The staff was friendly and the lady who helped me (I think her name was Pamela?) cut my hair quickly and the style turned out very nicely. My family normally comes to this location because of consistently good results.

They managed to cut my little guys hair and skin. He sat very still and nicely so I don't see how this happened but it did. They also balded him in some spots. I asked for level 1 shave on the bottom area and I've never had an issue. But somehow there was bald spots. Any other place that has used level 1 buzz never left his hair looking badly. Their shavers are also very tough on the scalp in comparison to other places we've been. They need more training for sure. I can't believe they still charged me after this! Last choice hair cutters not first they didn't clean all the hair off his scalp and face very well at all and I had to ask them to gel the front of his bangs at the end. Usually places offer this as part of good finishing. Overall terrible experience!

This barber shop cut my wife hair and when she came home my kid started to say "Daddy why does mommy look like a boy".

The place used to be much better than I remember, one of the employees there, I think she's blonde, is a pshyco.

Customer service is friendly. But hair stylist need more training & development to cut hair. They need to do better with cleaning hair and avoid getting all over customer clothing.
Please train staff with cutting hair better.

They cut my son Ferrans hair too short. My son was ANGRY! I was ashamed for a few month till has grown back!

Highly recommend this place for haircut. I just had my son’s first hair cut done and the stylist Megan is amazing and was very gentle and took her time to do my son’s haircut. She is awesome will recommend people to go there.

Most times I get a good haircut. Once I got my cut too short because the person doing it used clippers instead of the usual scissors and comb cut.

They have been my hair cutters of choice for over 20 years. No matter the stylist, I always get a good cut.

Fast service. All the ladies are friendly and they all do a great job cutting hair. It seems that even when my hairstylist (Rose) is busy someone else can step up and do a great job.

Great cut for the money! The environment is a little poor though. Hairdressers chatting loudly back and forth. Definitely not a relaxing environment.

I like this place. It blends old Skool with a new modern salon. When I say old school, I'm referring to one set price $16.75 for a haircut. No coupons and seniors discount. They don't even have a computer system to take your name/phone or to print out your receipt. That is done by hand on a piece of paper. So retro.
I like the layout of the salon. The chairs run up the sides of the store which allows space to walk up and down the center aisle.
And the last but most important thing is I got a great haircut the way I wanted it. Thank you.

I’ve been here once and I’ll never go back the women who cut my hair kept making rude comments about my hair my hair is very thick and wavy she kept saying she doesn’t know if she can do it but was so rude about it and talking to the other hairdressers and laughing about it I swear if I wasn’t so shocked I would have gotten up and left
