Great work by Katie. My husband and 3 year old son always go there and Katie manages to do exactly like the photos we show her. Nice sleek haircuts, friendly, fun. Always a pleasure going there and toddler-friendly (they make sure my son is having a good time) will come back many times!

It's been awhile since I had my hair cut and decided I needed one.
Was very disappointed to find that this establishment does not accept cash.you know? The legal tender of this country. It's illegal to refuse it. After seeing this sign on the business I will never return. I'm positive there are many other hair cutters I can support

Professional and pleasant place to get your hair cut. I have troublesome hair and the stylist was able to tidy it up better than most. Would recommend.

I like this place. I hate waiting, so I get my hair cut by the first person available, which means there is lots of variety in the quality of the cut. Price is good and the folks are very friendly. The stylists have always been quite patient as well!

The hairdresser wasn't friendly. The haircut was rushed, rough and a little sloppy. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. For the price they are charging they should be taking their time or reducing their prices. Won't be returning.

I decided to colour my hair myself. The result was an unnatural ghastly colour. First choice was able to reverse the process and return my hair back to it's original colour. I can't thank you enough for helping me.

I have taken my 2 year old son to Katie at this location a couple times now and she is just so amazing and patient with him.

Took my daughter here to get her hair dyed. She got the tips dyed blue. The ladies were absolutely fantastic. They took the time to find out what she wanted, and made her dreams come true. Thank you!

Soo bad. I won’t use the woman’s name that cut my hair. But I was in and out of that chair in 10 mins tops. Got home and fiancée had to go over it and cut hairs she missed. Quite honestly the worst hair cut I’ve ever got.

Had a very good cut from Wayne today. He was very polite and friendly to me. I enjoyed chatting with him. Also had eyebrows waxed and the young girl was also very nice and did a good job.

My daughter visited this location (Angus) to have her eyebrows done as it had been a while. The lady checking her in (Katie) was nothing but rude to my daughter! After her eyebrows where completed, this same girl cashed my daughter out and proceeded with the comment of.

"WOW! They were actual able to tame those beasts! "

Really! Is this how you treat your clients, by insulting them? My daughter left in tears! I will never step foot in this first choice location again! My daughter will never set foot in this location again, and I will be sure to tell everyone NOT to go to this location, unless of course being insulted is their long life dream! This lady, if you even what to call them that, should be fired!

I love getting my hair cut by katie. She always does a great job and knows exactly how to cut my hair the way I like it.

Firstly if I could give this store no stars I would! This store is absolutely disgusting extremely dirty and should be reported too the health board when my hair was being washed the water kept Comming up so it didn’t even get washed properly while that was going on all I could hear was a girl screaming and yelling at another girl in the salon very unprofessional! A bigger set lady with brown hair greeted me very poorly said ya what’s your name with a snotty attitude I don’t appreciate being talked too like that I’m a paying customer! It was my first and LAST time I will ever go into your store! Clean up your store and your staff!

I had my hair cut by Katie.it was a very busy day but Katie took the time to ask the right questions to find out exactly what I wanted and had a few suggestions as well. It's was exactly what I wanted. I had been to several places in Angus for a cut but this was the first time in a long time I was fully satisfied. Also she was very pleasant to talk to, even though the place was very busy and she hadn't had a break that day.

Katie is an amazing hair stylist. Her professionalisms is exceptional. She cuts, colours and highlights my hair so that when I leave I feel like a beautiful woman. She is always polite, punctual and a pleasure to be in her company.

I've been going to this location since I moved to angus 2 years ago. Kate has been our go to stylist for my kids who have special needs. She is patient, kind, and has always done a great cut even when I'm not sure exactly what I want! My boys love going to Katie. I brought my daughter in for her first haircut the other day and we had Margery I think her name was. She was so wonderful with my daughter and gave her a little pink cape which she loved. Thank you for fixing the mess I had left over from me trying to cut her hair myself! I don't know why the other reviews are less than fantastic because everytime I come into First Choice angus, we get the small close community feel and welcoming presence. Also, try checking in online! It's SUPER handy!

I have been coming to see katie for over a year at the angus location. She has been NEVER been rude to me or seen her give attitude. When she sees me coming she always helps me because I've had a stroke and struggle with balance. My daughter also gets her color with katie. We will always come here to see Katie while she is here. Im referring her to all my friends!

I went to the First Choice website to leave my experience and it makes you go through all the steps and then won't let you submit it. So here's my story. I called in to make an appointment to get both my son's hair cut and the girl that answered the phone (Cathy or katie) sounded like my phone call was a big inconvenience. She sounded all flustered and agitated when she said that I couldn't come in today that she was too busy. She then told me to comega in tomorrow and before I could respond she hung up the phone on me. How rude! I will now make the trip out to barrie instead of going into somewhere that I will be treated like crappie. Horrible customer service. I will also make sure to tell everyone I know of my experience with this salon

I went in for a haircut and as I was waiting a heavier girl working there was discussing about how much different types of marijuana she has at home. I know it is legal now but it was a little unprofessional to be discussing that in an enviroment where there was children. She was talking low about it but I was still able to hear it. Not really a discussion I would like to have in my business.

I contacted head office to put in a complaint about the hairdresser Katie and never got a response back. I don't understand what everyone is ranting and raving about because she is the most rudest person I have ever spoken to. She needs to find a different job, not working with the public because she is terrible and obviously unhappy at what she does. I find the reviews about her hard to believe considering how I was treated and talked to when I went in there. Terrible service and I will not be back ever.

Went to get my sons hair cut tonight and Katie was amazing. He is very picky and he loved what she did. I even mentioned we hadn't had dinner yet and she offered us hers lol. We will be back!

I have only had experience with Katie, and she’s lovely! She made time for me, and did a great job. I don’t often post reviews, but realize the value in doing so. I’d recommend Katie to a friend without hesitation.

Despite the negative reviews, I have to say that I absolutely love going to get my haircut at the Angus location. It is always an inviting enviroment. I find the girls to be upbeat and very knowledgable. Julie usually cuts my hair and is very understanding and good at what she does. I recommend her to everyone who asks where I get my haircut. Great place, great cuts other than the price for cuts. $20 is a little steep for just a standard womens cut. Keep up the great work and I'll be back again and again.

This place is horrible. FIrst of all you can geat a hair cut on base for 15$ these people charge 25$ plus tip for a guys hair cut.
Second thing they literally take 10 minutes to cut your hair. It's like they purposely rush through and try to get you at the door. To top it off their trimmers pull your hair and make you feel uncomfortable. I strongly suggest if you're a guy not to go there.

We t here for an eyebrow waxing, they waxed off half of my one eyebrow. Had my hair straightened and was told it would last even though the hair dresser didnt use product, walked to the end of the plaza and my hair went frizzy and wavy. I had it done for an event and paid 80.00, just to have straight hair for a few minutes and with no time to fix it I had to throw it into a pony tail which defeats the purpose of having had it straightened. Havent been back and wont go back.

Fast service though over priced compared to others in the area, it just happened to be the only place still open once I got off work.

Took my eldest to have his hair cut, brought multiple photo references. She cut far too much off, didn't ask before taking the length down drastically and despite having photo reference and consulting with her beforehand she missed the mark.
