I usually don’t leave reviews, but I must do this time. Went there this evening and told the hairdresser exactly how much she needs to cut but she decided to set my style based on her own choice. My one-year work disappeared in one stroke of her machine. She kept telling me how good it looks. Stay away from these idiots.

If you are looking for an extraordinary haircut experience, you should visit Cora at Hair Cutters in South Common Mall. She is such a beautiful spirit doing her job. Lots of good positive energy, kind heart and attention to details with your hair. You will only come back to her every time.

Getting my haircut here was such a pleasant experience. All the stylists were so welcoming and friendly and really made it a warm environment. They also had such great quality in terms of their haircuts. Strongly recommend going here!

Overall good, fast walk-in exp like always. I had Pashke this time around, very friendly and informative on what she was doing. Highly recommend her, would say my best to date at any FC I've been to IMHO

Very reasonable price for hair cut and usually pretty fast in and out unless they are busy. All hair dressers courteous and polite. I recall about a decade ago my boys had their first grown up hair dressing experience such as shampoo, haircut and blow dry experience at this location and they were thrilled:)

Just got a trim in the back, neckline, as I do sometimes and / or / just the bangs… however, today I was charged for a FULL haircut price of just under $30 when I recently had paid $10.
I argued and was told that « New Price, look at the list » Not a haircut, just a trim guys. Not coming back. Very disappointed to get scammed by First Choice

Disappointed. I went in for a haircut around 3 today, to find two staff working on other patrons. They informed me that it there would be a 45 minute wait, which I was okay with. After leaving my information and returning to my car (as all the seats were occupied) I proceeded to wait. After 45 minutes I walked back in and was asked to wait at least 30 minutes more. While the ladies were obviously busy, and understaffed - I’m bothered by being asked to wait a further half hour. I would have certainly appreciated being told it would be over an hour I would have happily decided to return another day. Understaffing cost this location money, and part of its reputation today.

I had an appointment on October 17. Moka took good care of me. My hair had grown way too long and was very heavy. We had a discussion of what I would like and she just knew what to do. Very nice staff. Good experience. I’ll be back.

The lady here is very friendly and skillful, this is a wonderful visit for me.
I use the picture of a model to show my expected hairstyle, and I got a really nice haircut even better than the picture, I would strongly recommend this place for haircut.

I have been going to this salon for many years now. I have gotten great haircuts for very reasonable prices from multiple hairstyles, namely Moka and Mirella. I would definitely recommend.

I had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by Cora. I had a vision in mind of how I wanted my hair to look and she took the time to check in and ensure that I had a good understanding of how she would proceed. I felt like I was heard. She was fun and made it by far my best hair cutting experience to date. Go see Cora for the best hair care!

Me and my sister was greeted by the man in the front with a friendly welcome. This was our first time visiting to this place. We waited about 10-20 minutes which was bearable! My sister got her haircut by hairstylist, Mirella and she absolutely loves it! I'm so glad we came by to this location while they had the summer haircut sale.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They don't even keep track of their appointments, any person can come in and say they have an appointment and they would believe them. I walked in with no appointment, waited 30 minutes as 2 people had appointments before me, then 2 additional people came in, said that they had appointments, so they asked me if I could wait for ANOTHER 30 MINUTES, AS THEY DID NOT KNOW THEY HAD ADDITIONAL APPOINTMENTS AT THAT TIME.
Waist of time, the Dundas location is so much better

I arrived for a 9: 30am appointment this past Friday.
Moka greeted me with professionalism and a smile.
Services completed were full highlights, toner, cut and blow-dry.
There were a few walk-ins, and Moka politely asked the potential clients if they could come back around 11am (another stylist arrived at 11am). Moka kept her cool despite juggling the phone, walk-ins and my services.
I was there just over 2 hours.
The haircut cost $25, full highlights $100, toner $20 plus HST and tip. Very reasonable compared to nearby salons.

I went for a haircut on Monday, July 5th. My hairstylist was Cora, she did an exceptional job in cutting my hair, but I really appreciated the fact that she suggested whether I should donate my hair or not. I think there is a lot of clients that may be skeptical about donating their hair, I wasn't confident enough that I can do it myself (also my hair washed at home isn't silky enough compared to a salon). But I really appreciated that Cora offered to tie my hair in elastics and cut it for me. And because of that, I am donating my hair now. She went above and beyond her job to ensure that I received a great haircut, but to also provide her input on a choice that I was hesitant to make. Now I am really happy that I decided to keep the hair and donate it. Thank you Cora!

Cora was our hairstylist. She did a fantastic job on both mine and my daughter's. It was exactly how we wanted it. She showed me all the colours that match my tone and recommended what was best for me. She even gave my daughter her own style. She has not stopped complimenting her own hair since then. LOL. She was also very patient with us as she has experience with hair donation before.

I've had my hair cut here a few times now. I get it cut and styled by CORA. She does a wonderful job with my hair and you can't beat the price. I highly recommend her. Also, the manager was in the other day when I was there and he seemed like a nice young man.

Ask for Moka; I can’t find anyone who can cut hair like her. Extremely kind and good at what she does.

I can’t here one year so and meet Cora for the first time. It is always so nice to get my hair cut from Cora.she does some magic that even my lifeless hair start looking full of life She is always very patient and professional. I think it's fair to say that your experience here will depend on which stylist you get. There is generally a culture here of exceptional customer service and this is why I have been coming here for years. Even days when I've come in close to closing, the more senior stylists have always welcomed me with a smile. Sure, I've had the odd mediocre haircut, but that's to be expected when someone new is cutting your hair and one should not disparage the entire salon based on that. Moka, Mirella and Betty are particularly talented so if you are lucky enough to have them as one of your stylists, you will be pleased.

I attended the South Common location in Mississauga, ON. As usual, I had a fantastic hair cutting experience. Mirella has been cutting my hair for several years and always exceeds my expectations.

Always happy with the service at this location. Tina and Mirella are my go-to, but if they’re not in and I need to get a cut, I’m always confident in the other staff as well.

Five star customer service and hair cut from Cora, ny mom has been looking for a hairstylist and today after six years she finally loved someone's work. I am so so so so so happy that she helped my mom changed my mom's life, my mom is so happy. Thanks a billion Cora

The blonde was left in my hair way too long. The lady was so busy with others that she kept resetting the timer so she can focus on her "regulars "

This is my place to go when I need a haircut. Betty is the best hairstylist I have been with for years. Responsible, professional and super fun to seat with. My 7 years old loves her as well, he doesn't like anyone else to cut his her than Betty. I honestly recommend her completely!

I love this hair salon! I used to live in this neighbourhood for years and always got my hair cut and occasionally highlighted with Betty. Because I'm so far from this location I had to go elsewhere but this week I knew i would be in the area and made an appointment ahead. I'm so glad I went back! I'm always pleased with my haircut. I also like that Betty will explain how I can style my hair at home particularly when we try something new. Lastly, she is not pushy with the products. Over the years I have bought different products that have worked very well for my hair type.

My hair dresser Betty was amazing! She is very kind and clearly an amazing stylist.i left very happy:)

Went in for a cut on Nov 18/18. Was charged far more than I thought I would pay; asked for a cut and blow dry, ended up paying for a cut and full style PLUS extra because I have long hair. $58 was my total, okay, whatever. During payment, the POS system shut down, but the terminal still took my debit card as payment and it went through as “approved”. The stylist called to make sure I wouldn’t be charged twice, and ran my card again.

Turns out I WAS charged twice. So I returned the next day with a printout from my bank. I was asked to come back AGAIN the next day because the stylist needed a manager to issue a refund. She could not just return the amount on my card. I contacted the head office to assist; I kid you not, it took until *December 4* for me to get the refund. Via a cheque in the mail! Why couldn’t I just get a refund at the salon? Why did I have to email repeatedly to follow up on payment? You think they would have thrown in a coupon for my trouble, but all I got was a letter apologizing for the inconvenience. It took almost 3 weeks for me to get this resolved.

I’ve been going to this location for almost twelve years - I’ve never had an issue. I don’t plan on returning, due to the awful customer service and obvious disorganization of their payment processing. So much for customer service.
