I went there two times over the last two years. My hair was cut by the same lady, a women with blonde highlighted hair I believe. She said she had experience with curly hair but when I got home I realized that at least a dozen clump of strands were just poking out at random lengths. It was a complete waste of money because I had someone else fix them.

I called ahead and they were able to take me within 15 minutes. Nasreen cut my hair and did a great job. I requested an inch off the length with short layers. My hair feels lighter and healthier.

Kristena is excellent. I first visited First Choice in April & since then I have been visiting on regular intervals for hair wash & styling. I always book my appointment with Kristena as she is very good with suggestions & styling my hair

Got my haircut here yesterday; I went in a little unsure of how my haircut would turn out but I was worried for nothing! Kriestina cut my hair and she did an amazing job! She helped me cover my baby hairs so well and really helped me in feeling better about my hair. She’s very skilled in this craft and such a lovely person as well:)

Christina one of the best hairstylists that I’ve known. She is a true professional with naturally warm personality. She mastered fundamental skills and has amazing taste of hair styling: the colours she chose for me turned out so natural and beautiful that everyone including myself feels it’s my “true colour”. She recommended right treatment based on my hair conditions and they worked well. I trust her when it comes to my hair and would definitely recommend her to my friends!

Christina gave me an amazing layered haircut, she was so sweet and kind and funny. I came all the way from Mississauga and she treated me to a beautiful blow out as a treat from her to me, coming so far for a haircut. She did an amazing job and I would totally recommend anyone to go to Christina for a haircut!

Kriestina is my go to hairdresser! I’m very picky about getting my hair cut, but Kriestina is very patient and always manages to go an amazing job and cutting and styling my hair. She’s a professional, kind, very friendly. She always goes above and beyond to make sure I am happy with hair cut. She is the only person I trust to do my hair.

Horrible service! I had haircut on 5 Nov 2022 and the lady said I need some hair transplant. She was laughing on my hair and saying that I should use some product! Well I do not have baldness. I just have curly and thin hair from top and she has no right to comment on my hair, she is not my girlfriend. I visited other barber shops in past and although my haircut is challenging, they did a great job! I told this lady of First choice haircut twice to use scissors only and she did not listen. She used clippers and cut my hair all the way to the top very quickly resulting in very vert short hair which changed my look completely. It was disaster. She must be fired immediately for commenting wrong way and cutting hair in a way she likes. Guys, there are many other places for haircut. DO NOT Entertain this ladies. They do not know how to cut hair. They only know how to play with clippers and trimmers

Kriestina is my only hairdresser she always give me a great cut and style. I really Appreciate her she took me last minute for my hair cut before closing! 100% recommended.

Prices are on par with top-notch hair salons. But although they have accommodated me last minute, and staff was very nice, my blow out wasn't great. This place is probably good for a simple cut/ trim.not so much for styling.hence the name! So my experience is for styling only!

Zoran was great at his job! He was taking his time to sanitize his kit and didn't rush through the cut of my 4 year old son at all. Highly recommended.

Faiqa always do a great job cutting my 3 year old son’s hair. She is very friendly and knows how to handle kids. I would recommend her.

I got about 4" cut off my hair to remove the deadends and asked for a straight cut. I was literally in the chair for 15mins. I've been wearing my hair up in a pony tail for work everyday and didn't notice how bad it was cut until I straightened it today. I am shocked that they couldn't even do a simple hair cut correctly.
I usually go to another salon with professionals but my stylist moved out of town. I wanted my hair cut right away and thought how bad could first choice be.well I guess I learned my lesson.

I just wanted to say that Zahra is an amazing hairdresser that is not only a true professional but friendly too. I have been her client for almost 5 years and I still continue to receive compliments on how great she makes my hair look. I would highly recommend Zahra for any of your haircutting needs. Cut my hair way too short after I said please do not take anything off the length. I asked for a refund and was told no refunds no matter what. They did offer to fix it and I asked if they are able to make my hair long again. Unfortunately this was not the first time which is why I specified do not touch the length. I won’t be going back.
