I sat for 3 hours. Still Mariam left the chair. Finally I asked: can we start? We started half an hour after I sat down in the chair. I wanted highlights plus color. I paid $175.no streaks. I don't have the "wow" effect. Massacre. I do not recommend. She kept sighing.she kept talking. I don't like talking to the hairdresser. Somewhat, but not all the time. I do not recommend. Shocking! NEVER go there. I was twice.once to cut hair and today make color and highlights.

Always a good place to go for a haircut. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly and courteous. I always make an appointment and it usually runs on time. Sometimes I come in without an appointment and usually don't have to wait too long.

I've been getting my cut from Cindy for the past 10 years and I've never had a complaint. She's always in a good mood and is very easy going. I would recommend this location and Cindy specifically to anyone.

Good experience here, often with Mariam. Basic long hair cuts and kids cuts are well priced, easy to walk in and good quality. Best value in the area.

This has got to be one of the worst hair cutters i’ve ever had the displeasure of going to. With my mother having last been here a couple weeks ago, I thought it fit to finally leave an honest and open review of the place. She absolutely hated her haircut and mentioned how the staff were rude and unprofessional. I haven’t once stepped foot in this place again.

While some employees offered adequate appreciation for their clientele, others were quite rude, sensitive and overall overbearing. My brother and I came here a few number of times (no idea why) and it was the same experience each time. One of them even butchered my brothers hair and made me question how she got her license in the first place. Every one of the staff can’t take honest criticism and are quite sensitive. When i made a comment as to how i wanted my hair cut a certain, and that i didn’t like it (the last time i was there) she tried to defend herself and tried playing the victim.

While i admit, it has been a long time since i had my hair cut here, i assure you that i will never pay them a dollar to even touch my hair again. If i could leave a negative negative star then i would’ve.

Although I had prior appointments but due to walk ins, I had to wait 2: 30 hr before my haircut.

Didn't feel great service. Worst and ruined my hair. The handling of scissors and trimming hair made me know that it was not good. First and last choice for me. I wont recommend others as per my experience.

Superb service from Kristine! She did an excellent fade & style on my 12 yr old son. He was going to an event afterwards and was happy with his hair. Truly experienced and friendly service.

Kristine was amazing at the East Mall Etobicoke location. She explained the costs, did exactly what I wanted with improvements. Didn't rush me in and out or try to up sell. I got a wash cut and dry. The conversation was light and not intrusive.
Such a pleasant experience. And my hair looks great.

Worst haircut ever! You get what you pay for. The cheap haircuts here are not worth it. Miriam butchered 6 inches off my hair instead of 3. I even showed her with my hand that I wanted shoulder length and she gave me a short bob. When I got home I rinsed my hair and discovered it was lopsided. I had told her to pay attention to my side part but she ignored me. I was reluctant to go back to get it fixed but I couldn't go out with lopsided hair. I went back and Miriam lied and said that I had told her to chop off my beautiful hair. I tried to explain about the side part and she couldn't understand me. I tried to explain that with my textured hair you can't give me the same cut as a white lady. That's when her blond sidekick with an 80s hairstyle out of a Flock of Seagulls video stepped in and out was two against one. It's so not okay to silence women of colour. My hair texture (South Asian curls) matters. Miriam couldn't get my face framing pieces right either. I gave up trying to get her to cut them. Honestly do not come here. Do not come to Miriam. What a nightmare.
