First Choice Haircutters

I came in with shoulder length hair, asked Dianne for a trim and at most for the hair to be cut chin length but to keep as much length as possible. I requested a bob style, with my undercut brought up a bit to be just over my ears. I was told my hair was healthy and there was no need to even go that short.

I left with my undercut a good 3 fingers width over my ears, so much more than I asked for. My hair is now jaw length and can't go up into a pony tail or a half up style which I mentioned was important to me. I don't know what style was done on my hair but I have straight sides and then the back goes down into a point at the back. It is definitely not a bob. There are so many layers when I had also asked to have minimal layers which was disregarded. There's also patches of the undercut that were forgotten and the face framing hairs from my bangs were cut off on one side but not the other.

I'm leaving the country on vacation today and the fact that this is my haircut I get to see in all the pictures is heartbreaking.

The online reservation system is pretty useless. It only allows you to make an appointment on the same day. When you arrive at the store, there is a sign that states that even if you've used the application to make an appointment, you are not guaranteed an appointment. Don't understand the point.

The worst haircut ever! I had hair down to my lower back when I went in to just get the split ends trimmed out. I said no more than a couple of inches, she asked if three inches is ok I said ok but no more. My hair is now up to my shoulder blades and all different lengths. This because I have natural curl to my hair and she didn't wet it before cutting it. I trusted her and now my hair is a disaster. I have to wear it up in a ponytail until it grows out to get it fixed. I really don't look good with short hair at all!

I have been going here once every week for about 8 years. Right now I am very upset as I just learned that the most important person that works here is leaving as the owners said she is no longer needed. Her name is Chrystal and she is an amazing woman. She is always busy either answering phones to book appointments, dealing with walk ins, cleans up everything that needs cleaning, sweeps up the hair, and does all the laundry. She is wonderful with customers. I even saw her help one of the employers when a little girl maybe 2 or 3 years old and was terrified of getting a haircut and Chrystal calmed the little down. Most of the employees are new here and they will have to take over for her when she goes. This is going to upset the business as they will not be able to do the work that Chrystal does and I am sure that some of them will find employment elsewhere. Chrystal is unreplaceable. I gave this place a 5 star for the staff that does my hair. Michelle is excellent. I am a senior with thick waist long hair and she is very patient. I am so disappointed and upset that one of the best employees will no longer be there because head office said that she is no longer needed. Please change your mind, they all need her.

I've been trying to repair my naturally curly hair that I've straightened for YEARS (a lot of heat damage) I was also nervous about getting the big chop my hair needs, the hair professional I had was Sherri, she too has beautiful naturally curly hair. She listened to my concerns and hair goals, and she made me feel so comfortable. She stuck to the trim I was comfortable with and gave me great tips to help heal my hair. She was awesome!

Took my daughter with me. We both got a wash and cut. The lady who did my daughter's hair was great with her. I liked the lady I had. I made the mistake of getting the wrong hair cut for me but that's ok.

Called ahead because I was driving an hour to come here. They were great had an appointment, lady was friendly. I specifically said I wanted someone who knew how to do layers.
My hair is curly so I straightened it before coming. The girl started spraying it, I repeated that it was curly but because it was fried from bleach she insisted. I let it go. She didn’t dry or style my hair before I left which I should have gotten her to. I straighten it the next day and it’s a complete hack job in the back. I saw the stylist Bianca who also had curly hair so I had high hopes for the outcome. I am so disappointed and angry!

I went to get my hair cut and they took me right away and Allie was the one that cut my hair and she cut my hair like I had asked her to do, I would recommend her to anyone, I live the job she did!

I went here to get a haircut and instead got shaved on the back and sides of my hair. Not the haircut I showed the girl at all. I feel like a cancer patent that has had their head shaved. Was supposed to be spiked on top and spiked in the back but she must of used the lowest shaver possible. I’m so sad and crying right now. I can’t even put a complaint as she never gave me her name or receipt. $30.00 down the toilet. I definitely won’t go back. I’d rate a zero but no zero rating.

My granddaughter got her hair cut here in Thursday the 15th of Dec. I'm not at all impressed. It is not even and there is 2 spots in back that look totally missing too thin
