My second time taking my 4 year old son here. They are very friendly and take time to talk to their client while paying attention to the haircut they are providing. I highly recommend this location if you want a professional yet relaxed environment for a haircut. Great place.

Carol did a great job. Listened to what I asked for and did it well and quite quickly too! She was kind and didn't force conversation.
Affordable, very pleasant experience, I would definitely recommend.

My 9yr old son got a simple haircut. 1 using a shaver around the sides and back. Finger length on top. Very simple. Charged $30. Never again for a basic haircut for a 9yr old boy. The hairdresser did a great job. The price was stupidly expensive.

Carol did a perm on my 92 year old Gran and she was fantastic. I have a problem with Chantel whom I assume is a supervisor but not a good one. She was very rude to Carol and when Carol asked Gran where she likes her part in her hair Chantel went on a rant about “you only give a trim not a style when doing a perm”. We are well aware that you only get a trim and if Gran wanted a style she has the means to pay for it. The problem is Chantel went on and on about it and through body language I could see Carol was uncomfortable with this rant. I am reviewing extensively here because we were in this establishment without a line up and were taken right away to the back but when a husband and wife came in Chantel told Carol she had to do a cut and made my Gran sit in the back waiting. First come first serve out the window here and she’s 92 sitting in the back waiting to get started. Chantel’s rough demeanour on this day did not sit well with Gran the client and she told me Chantel told Carol she had to do the cut. Gran also heard her rant about the “wanting” more than a trim. Gran has asked that I post this as a reminder to people in the customer service industry to watch how you conduct yourself if you are in a position of authority in front of the paying clientele or anyone else for that matter. Carol gets a 5 star rating but overall the experience does not. Side note I myself am a repeat customer at this location but not anymore

Amazing.took my daughter twice. Second time i let her cut my hair. (Super long hair down to my but) Havent had ne one touch my hair in 23 years.i let chantel.she is great amazing

I have been here before and didn't really enjoy our visit. It was my daughter's first real cut and the lady couldn't have been less welcoming. She barley talked to my child and jerked her head.
Today though I was stuck, well my daughter was stuck with a comb in her hair! I was at a loss so being the closest to home I took her in. We were both happy that the previous hairdresser we used was not in. We had the pleasure of two other ladies who were so kind and gentle. Now we couldn't get the comb out but they made her hair look amazing! Thanks ladies we owe ya

They don’t accept cash and ask for your phone number.they also don’t use razor to trim breads and no one tells you that until you sit in the chair. Also, they don’t have a seniors discount. For such a huge company they have such cheap service. Never will I recommend First Choice to anyone. Prices are very high!

I brought my 10 year old daughter for a haircut and style. She had a dance recital that day. I was not told that an updo would be $60. Also on the price board, it shows hair style $25. I ended up spending $120 with tip. I also had to go to the dollar store to get elastics for the updo.i wasn't even offered a discount for helping out the hairstylist. I definitely won't be going back.

Second time having hair cut by Claudia and loved every second of it. I only wish the atmosphere of the salon was a little bit more fancy but, for the price can not beat it. Claudia is the go to stylist there.

Very uncomfortable experience. I've been going to this location for close to a decade and the lady was trying to insist she needed my phone number to cut my hair, when in the past they just entered my name.

They were reluctant to accept cash ($3 transction fee on my card). Long story short they gave me judgemental looks as if I were a criminal and this will be the last time I give them my business.

$27 for a buzzcut is redicuous anyway.

It was terrible. I actually want a refund.
Got my hair cut today. First the whole atmosphere was blah, not really inviting. I told them my name, what I wanted etc and sat down to get my hair trimmed. Claudia, who did the haircut, not paying attention yanked on one of my earrings and the backing came off and went somewhere. It was like they didn’t care, even though they are special earrings to me. So a quick look was done but shoulders shrugged because they couldn’t find it. Then she yanked on my eyebrow piercing and instead of apologizing even when I told her that it hurt, she told me I had piercings all over the place. I’m not easily offended, but what kind of comment was that? My hair wasn’t even trimmed to the length I had asked for to top it all off.
I’m looking for my full refund.

Went in to treat myself on my bday to a long Overdue hair cut. Booked online for a wash cut and style.got the cut.no wash just used a spray bottle to soak my hair.my stylist was A LOT, she exhausted me just listening to her slander the store owners.my hair knots easily and she just ripped threw.caused much scalp pain for days after. NOT PROFESIONAL at all! Didn't even dry my hair, just let me walk out undried and unstyled.didn't even show me the back.guess that's what you get when you go to a place like this

HI, me again. Second visit not so great. Got highlights and my hair turned green gold. She changed the highlight tone without discussing it with me. I left thinking I can handle this, she says it will tone down after a few washes. I couldn’t live with it and went back a few hours later. I paid a lot and expected to be compensated to some degree ……. No such thing. She put a neutralizer in and my hair ended up looking like it did when I first went in. She did put a lot of time and effort in it, but the end result was horrendous. I’m very disappointed.

First time for me and absolutely love my hair. Took a chance for just a trim and after talking to Chantal decided to get highlights. She took great care with my hair and I would highly recommend her. Their pricing is fabulous and the fact you don’t need an appointment is a bonus. Love, Love, Love my hair!

Previously they have been amazing. My last visit was horrible. I said i was donating my hair and had put it up in a pony tail as it has to be in a pony tail or braid. I showed her the image of the hair cut she barley glanced at it and then started. She took out the pony tail and started shaving. I assumed she had been grabing the hair as she went. Nope all dropped to the floor. The hair cut was not even close to what i had shown her and is uneven. Seemed to be in too much of a rush. If your just wanting to get as many people in and out of the chair and not take an extra minute to make sure its accurate. I did say its not how i wanted it but i also didnt want anything more done as it was already to short to do much.
