First Choice Haircutters

Do not go here, my husband had his hair cut yesterday and it is with no doubt the worst ever, left shaggy at the back, and very uneven. I had the same experience a couple of weeks ago. These hair cutters do not appear to be trained, and very unsure of themselves.

JC is the man! He does high level fades and cuts but with the convince of a quick pop in service 10/10!

They did this to my autistic friend and didn't say anything to him. Worst haircut I have ever seen in my life.

Undoubtedly the worst hair cutting experience I've ever had in my 73 years. Thew girl didn't listen to a damn thing I said. I have or had moderately long hair, she took the clippers and set them I guess to her preference and proceeded to do what I call a 'buzz' cut. Got her stopped before I was bald, but now the sides don't match, one side has a wee bit of length, the other basically no length at all. So I will wear a hat until the length grows back in, and then wonder if I will try the place again as it was the incompetent hair stylist not the salon itself.

I have tried two branches before, but this one is better, they all look professional. The one who cut my hair was Olivia. She was so nice and caring and most importantly, familiar with curly hairs. I described what I want and showed her some pictures, she spent some time to fully understand what I was looking for and asked my opinion a couple of times during the cut. It’s highly recommended and I will definitely come back again!

Olivia is hands down the best stylist I've ever been to. I have 3a to 3c curly hair and it is very hard to find someone who is knowledgeable in textured hair and she nails it everytime. Highly recommend all curlies to go see Olivia!

The experience overall is not the best as waiting chairs are not comfy and the place is not the greatest but Jay C makes it all worth it… The amount of dedication and perfection this dude puts into cutting hair is insane… I can’t believe I can get this level of haircut in a place like first choice, the consistency of nailing the haircut every time… Amazing

Every time I take my kid into first choice. They are always super good with him, and they always do a great job. I really can't complain.

I continue to take my son there because their prices are fair and they do a good job.

Pleasant staff. Efficient and got what I expected. My haircut is simple. Basically a buzz cut, but I've been to other places and they manage to mess it up. Not here. Not rushed and took time to get the small details right.

I have routinely been a “do it myself in the bathroom to avoid the stress” type of haircut person but ever since coming here I haven’t looked back. I’ve seen two different ladies on two occasions and both were incredibly kind and genuinely interested in making sure I got a haircut I enjoyed. For $25 you truly can’t go wrong here, clean, tidy, quick and friendly.

Horrible experience on June 30th getting my haircut with my son.
Arrived at 6: 15. First customer to arrive after me (who was a minority) was told they were not taking any more customers tonight (and it wasn't busy). Another customer arrived shortly after (minority) and was told they weren't taking any more customers. Another customer arrived at approximately 6: 40 (attractive young white male) and his name was taken for a haircut. No problem.
Hairdresser asked me how old my son was while doing my haircut. I said he was 12. Two minutes later when ringing up my bill he was charged as an adult. I questioned her on it and she said she didn't know how old he was, was not able to issue a refund and said to come back tomorrow to speak to the manager.
To top it off my son's haircut looked like it was done by himself or a 6 year old. Convientally no receipt was issued. Terrible experience.

I went in at 630pm today, when they close at 7pm, to see if I could get a haircut. I was asked if I was on the list and when I said no, he rudely responded we aren't taking anymore customers on and he left it at that. Very rude, not good customer service and not how people trying to retain clients should act.
I work retail so I understand not wanting to be there all night and you have to draw a line somewhere when adding to the line, however there is a difference between politely saying I'm sorry but we aren't accepting anymore clients this evening, however we open at 9am tomorrow, than what I recieved today. Definitely not going to this first choice ever again.

I'm super happy with the ladies. Every single time we bring all three boys here. They are very patient with kids and do a great job every time!

Didn't blow the residue hair after, i was shocked when i get home and saw all the hair on my tshirt.

Always friendly! JC is a pro at making kids and adults feel comfortable. Great hair cut too.

They don't book appointments on weekends, but its usually no more than a 20-30 minute wait which you could spend at the mall.

Place was busy but had large wait room. Had my hair cut my Michelle and am extremely happy with it. Michelle is just wonderful.

Hair was nothing how I asked, she cut the right amount but the she started cutting small amounts off so I asked her what she was doing it was the length I wanted and then she said she was evening it out. Her evening it out took an extra 2.5 inches off that I didn’t want then I go home to find the next morning that my hair is about 1 inches shorter on the right side. Also terrible customer service, people were short and rude. I will not be returning

Go to this location and deal with Lindsay; she has been absolutely amazing everytime with myself and my kids. Other staff have also been quick to get us checked in and answer any questions.

I went for a haircut today and while I waited for my preferred stylist I had a chance to watch the other stylists. The care and personal touches they took with each client made it more clear as to why I choose First Choice as my favorite for a haircut.
