Today I went in at 1: 25pm. A lady greeted me and asked if I wanted to make an appointment for today within 3 hours. I said yes and asked her if she had ideas to cut my sons hair which is long and thick because they have no books out anymore because of covid. She snapped at me stating she's been cutting hair for 23 years and all the people here know how to cut hair, and if i didn't think so then i could take my business else where. She was very rude. I then said "I didn't say that, I asked if she had ideas". She then turns around and says she cannot book me in for today and to try making an appointment for tomorrow over the phone or the app. That is the worse customer service I have ever received, and I do hope she can cut hair better than her attitude towards my children and myself!

**** Update - it's been MONTHS since I contacted the area manager - as requested by the owner - and I STILL haven't heard back from her. This shows how little they care about a customer's concern.
I’ve been going to the First Choice in Huntsville for over a year and have been relatively happy with the results and service. However, I recently called to make an appointment and was told that I couldn’t. I asked why I couldn’t make an appointment for a cut and colour and she said that was their policy. I knew that was incorrect because I’ve been using First Choice for years. I had to wait a few weeks but I did eventually get an appointment.
Today, I went in for a cut and colour and was told that my bill would be $50 more than I’ve always paid because they had to lighten my colour. I have dark brown hair and have been colouring my hair for 30 years and no one has ever told me it needed to be bleached. I recognize when a business is trying to get me to spend money that I don’t have to. It’s like a mechanic trying to scare you into getting things you don’t need done. I left without getting my hair done and later called to tell the manager exactly what I thought of this attempt at gouging a customer. I’m so upset by this. Makes me sick that you can’t even get a haircut without someone trying to rip you off.

This is a great place for men (and also women, I think) to get their haircut. It’s reasonably priced and you get a red seal trained hairstylist, cutting your hair.
12/10 for reasonable cost, and atmosphere going above and beyond and general vibe. The boss lady, Olivia, is super chill and the whole place has a really great feeling when you are there.

If you want a bad hair cut this is the place to go. In the last 4 years I've had had 3 bad hair cuts that I've had to shave my head to fix
The short girl is by far the worst. She I'd who did my hair this time. I think her name may be Olivia. Such an uneven hair cut with a chunk missing on top. Sadly only way to fix it was to shave my head as short as the missing chunk.
This place is a traumatic experience and needs to be shut down.

Bro save urself the heartbreak 30$ for a 5min haircut that she literally butchered… my hair is literally chopped up like a bush and I don’t complain so trust me save yourself the embarrassing date

I haven't had my hair cut professionally in years. Today i walked into this hair salon and had the best haircut I've ever had. First one of the ladies was so helpful in helping me choose a type of style with some suggestions even as she was done with her shift leaving for the day, she took those extra minutes and i then found the perfect style thanks to her (im sorry i didnt catch your name)!
Olivia my hairstylist was amazing! Kind, professional and went above and beyond. My hair is wonderful exactly what i had picked out and complimentary to my face type. I walked in with no idea other than lets just get a cut, and left happier than ever! Thank you so much ladies, definitely the place to go. Affordable & high quality service
