I was impressed by the manager yoday, who reached out first thing to try to rectify the situation. She was very kind and u derstamdimg and ooooh so apologetic for my experience. Although for now i wont be returning to the one location, she did assure me shed be keeping an ear out yo rectify these tupes of situations. Thanks tons!

Yesterday: Well.today I am thoroughly disappointed. I go to the 2 shops here and have for years. Always have great service.always! But. Today however. I felt like I was totally inconveniencing the stylist.big sighs each time I made a suggestion.more like a " could ya? " The look on her face was one that said.lady I'm really not into this today.
AND whatever beef is going between stylists needs to be kept private. The eye rolls, the snide commentary and the general feeling like I was interrupting a high school mean girl moment.will ensure I won't ever return to.this location. Shame on you folks for not doing better! Be professional!

I had my hair washed dried flat ironed and my bangs cut by Michele. She is absolutely the rudest hairdresser I have ever been too. Charged me 53 dollars. My bangs were so crooked I had to go elsewhere to get them fixed tight after. I will never go there again

I had a not so great outcome and felt when I went back it wasn't resolved so I wrote a not so great review. FC reached out to me and set me up with Dy to see what could be done. I understand misunderstandings happen and everyone's hair is different so perfection is not always achieved. What counts is that things are attempted to be made right and done so in a manner that is welcoming and understanding. I felt a relief in how I was treated as it's sometimes hard to be assertive and complain. Thank you Shirley and Dy.

First Choice on Dughill Rd in Trenton is my go-to salon. The staff there always has a great work ethic and take pride in their craft. I never leave disappointed!

I will never be back! Was charged 89 dollars for a wash and trim. Granted she blow dried my hair which is included always anyways. For this price I would rather go to a shalon and get a full cut and style. I'm beside myself at this ridiculous price for a first choice haircut!

Showed a photo of what I wanted and she listened and did exactly what I asked for. Definitely recommend with their new staff

Was at the Trenton FC, & Michellw cut my Hair. Usually its Billie, but idc who cuts my hair, all the girls do a wonderful job, when I ask fir a " Militaey Fade", which humourously, I called it a " Joey", from thebshow, FRIENDS. LOL

I supported someone from work to First Choice. The ladies working helped from opening the door, welcoming us in to the salon. Taking names, accommodating the people supported to sit down. Took the time to listen to how they wanted hair cut and styled. All around so amazing! Thank you ladies.

I am always happy after visiting this store no matter who cuts my hair, they are all friendly and terrific at their job.

Very disappointed with the person who cut my hair today. I won't go back to this location. I understand that mask wearing is not mandatory but when I have someone 2 inches from my face with a cold who tells me she doesn't HAVE to wear a mask that makes it mandatory for me. It's just common courtesy. Please don't tell me everyone has to get this cold! Unfortunately she had started the haircut before I was aware so it made it hard to just walk out.

Went in at opening on Friday before Thanksgiving, staff were friendly albeit still tired. I didn't want to be rushed for time as I still had to work in the afternoon so figured it would be less busy first thing which it was and I got seated right away. I was told to curl my hair would cost $80 assuming a charge of about $53 on top of their regular for a shampoo, cut and 'style' (about $28). Another salon in the area is $45-60 pending stylist experience and they include all of that for cheaper than here, surprisingly. I asked for layers, texturizing and to be thinned as I have very long thick hair - I have been pulling out clumps of thinned out hair all day since leaving with a damp diffused head as it was not fully brushed out afterwards. Not thrilled about this experience but it is convenient I suppose for walk in appointments where it's harder to get into the salon last minute - I have a funeral the day after this but I'll still have to restyle my hair now.
