Had my hair done by Letisha for the second time yesterday and will be booking exclusively with her in the future! She was very pleasant to talk to, did a great job trimming my hair and undercut, and was very helpful when I asked for product recommendations!
Awful experience. It’s like she didn’t know how to cut hair. I’m pretty sure I got an apprentice and I didn’t agree to that. First choice try Last choice hair cutters
Went in for shoulder length cut with layers. Came out with chin length hair with the layers that were choppy. And one side is longer than the other. Unless you want to sport a haircut that makes you ask yourself "dear god, what have they done to me" when you look in the mirror, stay away.
What is this? Like come on! My mother in law brings my daughter for a haircut, she had hair down to the bottom of her back, and she comes home with the most uneven cut. You can tell they just don't care at all! Absolutely won't be returning!
Awful customer service. Agree that hairdresser with short black hair is nasty to customers. Believe her name was Savana. If you are not happy do something about it.
Samantha was amazing and very thorough with my 11 year old daughter. We had booked an appointment because if we would have came walk-in style they would not have had enough time to do her haircut. My daughter wanted more hair off. I was outside getting ice cream with my son and Samantha said we will wait for Mom. I really appreciate how respectful she was.
My only recommendation would be if somebody asks for a haircut with a wash and style and books the appointment, to make sure there's enough time to make that happen. Samantha had still made sure my daughter walked out with some cute loose curls tho! Would recommend!
Surprised my daughter today and brought her in for a haircut. The staff were rude and the stylist (Older Lady) was rough with my daughter. She didn't ask what she wanted until I showed her a picture. She never talked to my daughter the whole time. My daughter was so upset by this experience. We went to the South end location last time and they were amazing. Booked an appointment for my husband. He told the stylist he wanted a buzzcut. Stylist looked at me as if for confirmation, then proceeded to not give him a buzzcut. Instead, she left the front of his hair uneven and the top longer than he wanted. Glad to see the stylists here can't trust someone who isn't white to know how he wants his hair.
Stylist was pleasant and friendly. I usually get a good cut at firstchoice lasalle. This Cut was a disaster. A lot of hairs left uncut. Did not clean the back of my neck. Overpriced. I paid $29 for a straight cut, no shampoo. And I tipped $10. Thats $39. I had to go elsewhere to get it done properly. Which cost me another $23. So I ended up paying $62 in total for a haircut. Very upset with firstchoice haircutters right now.
First Choice on Lasalle in Sudbury, is always a pleasure. I have nothing but praise to Susie, Pam, Crystal, Sarah, etc and their Apprentices. With each haircut, I have been satisfied and if I can, I will show a pic to make the visit run smoothly from start to finish. Please, start with a “wash” as this is the most relaxing part! It is so easy to make an appointment on line. Plenty of parking, credit card accepted, and you can pick up a Tim’s when you arrive, as it is right beside this location. Thank you to all
Went here for a haircut and when I got home I noticed a bald spot shaved into the back of my head. Shaved clean down to the skin. Then I realized the barber did not show me the back of my head like they usually do after the haircut was finished and went back to the store for a refund.
To add insult to injury, when I went back to the store to ask for refund they:
1. Refused to admit their mistake 2. Diagnosed me as a young person experiencing hair loss due to stress/unknown medical condition 3. Did not give me my money back 4. Wasted my time by making me come back to the store 5. Gave me a voucher for a free haircut, even though they did nothing wrong. Because I guess they felt bad the stress and hair falling out/medical issue. Not because they just messed up.
What makes them think I ever want to return there? They lied about making a mistake, tried to diagnose a clinical issue, took my money, wasted my time, and gaslit me.
There has never been any issue with my hair balding before or after that haircut.
I went and seen Sarah a few months ago, and I am excited to say I'm going back on Sunday for another cut and shampoo. I was beyond happy with what I got and really happy she listened to what I wanted. Normally I am left leaving the hair dressers disappointed and waiting years for it to grow out before I take the leap again, and going back again months later tells you how amazing she did! I am so happy to have found someone who listens! Thanks Sarah
Went in for a haircut (6 Dec) and I must say Sarah did an amazing job. Very impressed with the cut and reasonably priced place. Staff was friendly and explained each step. Will be back there for sure next time I need a cut.
Went in for a haircut and was blown away with how well Savannah did on my hair. My last haircut at a different barbershop was not even close to as good as the haircut I received from her. I think I've found my new hairstylist
