Not just because the always amazing, relaxing haircuts that I get from her but also because she makes me feel comfortable around her with my social anxiety (and/or anxiety in general). I have been going to east end for just over a year and I have to say it feels like family, Sarah has done mine and my 3 sons hair over the year and she is amazing, great to talk with an she is willing to go above and beyond to make you happy to come in an look great when you head out the door please go visit her you will be happy you did.

I've been coming to the First Choice on Dundas for more than 15 years. I enjoy how fast the service is and the staff that work their. I've always chosen Andria to cut my hair. She does an excellent job and knows how I like my hair cut. She is always positive and we seem to like the same things so we have really good conversations. I know I'm only getting my hair cut but when you have a positive attitude and atmosphere and the staff are always upbeat you enjoy the service more.

Just had another amazing experience with Sarah! I cannot say enough positive things about this hairstylist! From the moment I walk in, she always greets me with a genuine smile and makes me feel welcome and at ease. Even though I pretty much ask for the same boring haircut every time I see her, she always takes the time to ask me what I would like and listens to what I want. She even suggested some small changes to what I asked for that really exceeded my expectations of my hair which brought it up to the next level! I feel great! I have been coming here for the past 5 years and Andrea has been my main stylist. Wanting to try something different, I asked her to put purple highlights in my hair and it turned out great. She gave terrific advice on what products to use as well.

I love first choice, I go to the Dundas and Clarke road location and see Brandi. Been going to her for years now for myself and my boys. She's fast, friendly, very knowledgeable about her profession and offers exceptional service. Love her!

I always go to Nona for my cut and perm and she has never let me down. Both the cut and perm are perfect for me. Nona and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I went in there and already had highlights but they were grown out and i wanted more and to fix them up. SARAH decided to add a special conditioner that put the prices up to 223 when i told her i only wanted to fix ip the roots and more highlights at the top and i didn’t care about the back, so basically only half head. She was done doing my hair then she said she “blended out” the highlights because before my other ones were just “lines” Ahe didn’t even style my hair.so i went back home and straightened it and it looked like this…

I got told it was gonna he $114.99 unless i wanted more. But i didn’t want more. $223 for this.

Awful, absolutely terrible never going back here again I asker for a short at the back to long in the front style and this is what I got no thank you

I've been going to this first choice haircutters for years now and I must say Brandi is absolutely amazing at what she does, she always remembers conversations we've had months ago. I couldn't ask for any better customer service.

It was suggested to me that I write a review, so here it goes. Been going here for buzz cuts once a month for at least 17 years now. Nona has been buzzing my head the longest and does it most of the time. Nona knows the routine like the back of her hand, but she's mowed my head about 150 times over the years. Then we have Brandi who has done it several times and she pays attention to detail, a real people pleaser that girl. Seems to be full of energy every time I see her. Then we have Patty who takes a different approach. She likes to run the clippers very gently and slowly over your head to avoid pulling the hair or cutting you, just about lulls me to sleep. Patty takes a little longer but does a great job. Bojana has recently gotten into the mix so I'm giving her a shout out for doing a great job

Nona and I go way back, so we're pretty tight but she's been around a long time and will have to retire eventually, and when that happens Brandi will take the reins full time.

Highly recommend this place. For a reasonable price you can get your haircut and more. I personally liked that unlike in some other places in the area you can get wax/correct your eyebrows, what a man taking care of himself should.
P. S. Although I didn’t have an appt, I received service in about 20mins, which is good for a walk-in.
