Overall good, fast walk-in exp like always. I had Pashke this time around, very friendly and informative on what she was doing. Highly recommend her, would say my best to date at any FC I've been to IMHO

We came for kids hair cut. Lady with long hairs was so nice and gentle with kid. But there was another lady (white hair short like boys) who kept murmuring throughout our time there and she was murmuring about us to other customer on her chair. I don’t know the reason why she has problem with us, we were very gentle. Don’t show your personal people (color) choices in business. We won’t be coming back again.

Worst of all is, she repeatedly said my kid is sick as she was coughing little bit. Why the hell she would call my child sick?

Awesome place, stylists are super friendly and customer service is excellent. Got my hair trimmed/cut today with Sabrina H. She is wonderful, very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable and one of the main reasons I continue to get my hair done here.recommend

I usually go to get my roots done and specifically called and booked an appointment. Jenya was great and very nice to help me with the service. However when it came to pay I was very shocked to know that the price of the same service was now Doubled! I told her why was I not informed of the change in fees when I booked the appointment and how does the length of hair matter when I am getting my roots coloured. The roots service doesn't involve blow drying my hair either. I have no complaints with Jenya as she is a professional however not being told of the service charges when booking the appointment is unacceptable.
Unfortunately this will be the last time I will be going to this salon for any of my hair care services.

Sabrina goes out of her way a lot of the time to accommodate her customers, what is being said in a review is totally not Sabrina she is a very caring and sensitive person she would not hurt anyone. I would recommend Sabrina H to my friends and family anytime she is great.

Sabrina cut and styled my hair. I have been coming to this location for years and have always been inpressed with the way she carried herself. I would use her again in a heartbeat. She listened to what I wanted. She was personable and attentive. I ended up with a great cut and experience.

I have had nothing but a VERY positive experience when coming to have my hair done this location and love Sabrina H and Tatiana! They were both so kind and professional when I was asking for for hair style advise for colour and cut, taking the time to really listen and actually care! From the first time I went, Sabrina H made me feel like a regular client. Always does an amazing job and is a warm caring, funny person. I have many choices for hair salons, because her, I have become a regular customer.

AVOID SABRINA H. AT ALL COSTS! This lady is by far the most rude and abnoxious human that you will come across. I would not recommend this hairstylist to anyone due to her utter lack of professionalism and the poor customer service I experienced. As the manager, she was was rude from the moment I walked in, accusing me of being late even though I arrived within the stated business hours. The lack of professionalism and respect for customers was extremely disappointing. The manager's attitude and demeanor made the entire experience unacceptable and I will not be returning to this establishment. It is a shame that someone with such poor customer service skills is in a management position.

Usually, I get my haircut from Pashka (hopefully, I spelt it right). She's always friendly and gives a great haircut. The other staff seem to be really friendly too.

I have visited this saloon today. I am giving average rating as they have only limited services. The manager said only hair cut/styling can be done. No waxing or threading services are available due to absence of staff. It’s an additional effort for any customer to visit another saloon if they need threading/waxing/facial etc. Since they listed all services in their catalogue online, I assumed the list will be available which are very basic services that any saloon will offer. But ended up with disappointment as they do not offer any other service except haircut.

Cost me in total $28.19. The service was fast, but some part was forgotten to trim, like near the ear. Barber was nice btw.

Often when you get a haircut, you can’t really tell if you like it till you go home have a shower and try styling it yourself. That’s what happen with me. I went in yesterday and got a really short haircut by Sabrina. But after having a shower last night and sleeping on it and then trying to stylet this morning, I noticed that there were areas that looked a little puffy/long. I called this morning just after they opened and spoke with Sabrina. She was more than happy to have me come back in. She thinned out the areas I thought looked thick/ puffy. She even cut more when I suggested it could be a little shorter in other areas I highly recommend this location - especially Sabrina.

My sister and I went here for the first time to get haircuts and Sabrina and Pashka were amazing! They were both so sweet and we had great conversations with them! Not to mention our hair looks amazing! Thank you both so much you really made our day! <3

Sabrina (the purple lady) is my favourite! She is very skilled and friendly. And she always takes covid protocols seriously which is much appreciated.

I have had good experience with them in past but this time the receptionist was very rude. I would never call or use their service again.

Not good trained hair dressers. They just randomly cut in few minutes without giving any shape or size.

They cut my hair in 9 minutes and it is a very bad job. I would give 0 if I could, especially to that African American lady.

OPTIMISTIC FROM POSITIVE REVIEWS - LEFT DISAPPOINTED

I asked for one-inch off the top and a 3 shaver on the sides & back. She didn't cut any off the top and spent less than 7 mins.with my haircut in total. (I timed it)

B.s. Never going back here again. Now I have to go get another haircut tmrw. Hooray!: (

(Not to mention she talked about Covid-19 the whole freekin' time. She never asked "how my day was, " never asked "what i do for living", it was just about her & she wouldn't shut up. She was just so rude, I felt devalued as a customer)

p.s. I go to different First Choice Haircutters all over Ontario, this one has been my worst experience and the only review I've ever bothered to waste my time to write, in hopes people won't fall for the same trap as me.

My regular hairdresser was busy so I decided to take a chance with First Choice Haircutters. I am glad I did. Wait time was very minimal. I explained what I wanted and was pleasantly surprised with the final outcome. My hairdresser had suggestions that I had not considered previously. The overall experience of having my hair cut and styled was pleasant because of the added value of a great conversation. Overall I've given it a 5 star rating because I have no complaints whatsoever. I believe discounts are also provided if one posts a review immediately after. I am also told that the site occasionally sends coupons that can be redeemed here. The location is easy to get to with ample parking.

I have brought my son to this place to have haurcut several times. The service is very good. Jenya and Tatyiana did such a good job that my son began to like having haircut now.

Pashke is excellent. She clearly understands what kind of haircut the customer requires and does a fantastic job. Highly recommended.

We were new in the area and had the whole family’s hair cut here. The team here is great. They check you in and set the right expectation on estimated wait times. The whole family including my son (4yrs) and daughter (9yrs) loved our haircuts. The team here is truly hard working and courteous. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I had been a regular, but over time the quality of this place has really gone down. Each of the last 3 experiences were less than satisfying in different ways. I will be going elsewhere from now on.

I have an important event this weekend and was unable to see my Barber of 4 years. This First Choice location is convenient for me so I decided to give it a shot to freshen up.

Anastasia cut my hair and was very thoughtful. Knowing I had come there for a quick clean up, she walked me through each step of her process so she knew I was comfortable with each cut.

Overall I was pleased with my experience and will choose them (Anastasia) again when I am in a bind.

First time here. Hairdresser was nice but I didn’t get the hair style I was hoping for. She says it’s because I didn’t pay $20 extra to get my hair fully styled but my hair looks messy and completely unlike the photo of a simple clean bob cut I asked her to do. I’m pretty disappointed. Going back to my old hairdresser an hour away to fix my hair.

I’m international student and I don’t speak english very well but here the staff is very kind and polite and tried to help me to understend connected with my haircut, so I understand everything and it was great cooperation.
Finnaly I’m very happy about services here.

First time at First Choice Grand Park, and could not be happier with my hair and overall experience. I was greeted immediately upon entering the salon, and although it was a little busy (Saturday afternoon) I was serviced with a very short wait time! Tatiana was my stylist who did a fantastic job! I left with my hair looking and feeling extremely healthy! Will definitely return for future hair cuts and highly recommend Tatiana and this location to anyone looking for a great and affordable hair cut!
