First Choice Haircutters

I took my son to Bibi for his first haircut at 5 months old and she did an amazing job! She was so patient and lovely with him. And his hair looked great when she was done even though he was pretty squirmy. She has also cut my mom and sister’s hair in the past and they both look amazing as well! She really knows how to cut thick hair and style it so well! Definitely go to her if you want a great haircut!

Went in to get a dry trim.
Was in the chair for barely 5 minutes. Cut straight across the bottom. No layers trimmed, and the bangs barely touched, and it was $29.

I will never go there again. The price has doubled. I've been going there for as long as I can remember because it was cheap, but it no longer is. The reason people go to first choice was for the price.

I can see it having to close down with these prices.

I have been getting my hair cut here for a few years now and they have always been excellent. It’s mostly Nancy who cuts my hair and she’s fantastic, she’s probably the most polite and friendly person you can ask for. If you’re getting your hair done here, ask for her next time.

Never been disappointed at that location - Nancy is skilled and always greets me (and other clients) warmly… Very location also…

This is the worst salon I have ever seen in Canada. Service and behavior both are so bad. The person who served me was a white girl unfortunately I forget the name. I went for a blow dry and she didn't even ask me how I want to do it. She literally just dry my hair and ask to pay $48 without any styling or cut. Moreover she was so rude. There was other employees too and I'm not sure about them. But the white Girl who did my hair is so rude and charged money for no service at all. I would suggest not to go there anyone. You will pay too much money without any service or satisfaction. I would request the owner to refund me my money if I would see him/her. Seriously disappointed by the salon First choice. It wouldn't be ever anyone's first choice.

Great service Bibi and Nancy, Nancy done my hair couple times and Bibi as well, they know how to cut hair and also have good time to receive your hair cut. I enjoy coming here.

I went to this place gave me the worst cut of my life I looked like a egg after this I told them to not do it short but they still did it

Honestly don’t go here. Especially if you have curly hair. Disappointed with the service and certainly not worth $25. Could have done a better job myself

I just went to this store and got extremely poor service. They never hesitate to take my money and tell me that they don't have the tools to cut my hair properly and I should check with the barbershop across the street. Never recommended this store to anyone.

The ladies at First choice at Audley are wonderful. My son has been going to them since he was 9! He refuses to go anywhere else.

Normally I don't pay too much attention to who cuts my hair, however Sherry was exceptional! She went out of here way to provide me with great advice, cut my hair even better than I expected and styled it perfectly. On top of that the staff was very kind to my needs.

Thank you Sherry, loved the hair cut you gave me. You were so gentle while washing my hair and giving me a haircut even though my hair had tangles. Would highly recommend Sherry for your next visit to First Choice.

Was told multiple times during session that she doesn’t think we have enough time, I offered to reschedule and come back another day and she insisted I stay, colour job was rushed and uneven. There are splotches in my hair and uneven colouring throughout. I went to another salon to get it corrected and she laughed at the dye job! Will never go back to this location again.

During COVID-19 they have been very busy so the wait time is around 1-2 hours especially if there’s already people there. If you can’t wait in store make sure to come back frequently to check if it’s your turn yet or else you might miss your turn and get booted to the bottom. They said that they might open up an online booking system to help move the process more smoothly. Not sure if they have done that yet.

What you pay is what you get. It is affordable and decent place to get your hair done. Only concern is the attitude need more work done. Missing fragment was friendly attitude. Not that they had a bad or rough but smile on the face wont hurt much

Negligent staff.first and last time going here was yesterday after the hairdresser used the wrong spray bottle and drenched my hair AND my eyes in RUBBING ALCOHOL (she thought it was water). When it got in my eye, she took me in the back to wash it out. I was very calm when I told her what happened was "not okay", and grew in frustration when she tried to convince me it was "fine" because I rinsed my eye and it was better, not even apologizing once or taking responsibility for what happened. Continuously told me that what happened was " fine now" and told me "you're ok". I understand that what had happened was a mistake but how it was handled disgusts me as she blatantly tried to minimize and dismiss the situation and avoid taking responsibility. I pray that I'm the only customer this has happened to because it could have ended so much worse. I'm just thankful that my eye is okay.
Horrible customer service. If I could review this with -10 stars, I would. I'm not even the type to leave these types of reviews, but what happened was insane. She was an older lady with a russian (?) accent? Blonde hair, I think.

Very courteous and helpful associates. Neat and clean atmosphere, strict adherence to Covid19 guidelines.

Basic hair cutting service, not experienced. After 6pm the staff looks stressed out. Not the best customer service. Until they get a staff with positive attitude and WITH EXPERIENCE, we won't be going there again.

I have yet to find a Hair Salon that reliably does my hair properly despite it being so simple. My most recent visit my stylist did my hair perfectly, but most often times it doesn't go well. One time my brother got his hair cut by a woman who was so hyped up on Monster Energy that she was shaking the whole time she cut his hair, but you never question the one with scissors against your skull.

Great service and friendly staff, very responsive of your views and takes sufficient time to give your desires cut. Price can be slightly less or can introduce discount coupons for regular clients.

My mom while her visit to Canada and Firt Vhoice Haircutters specially with my stylist Sheri she was soo happy with her professional service. I strongly recommend her like your personal stylist.
