First Choice Haircutters

I just got a haircut for the first time in 2 years. Christine washed, cut and blow-dried my hair. She gave me exactly what I asked for. She was knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. She has gained a new client. Highly Recommend!

I had been here in the past and it was very busy and felt like I was overlooked and not a priority. I had also seen a young woman leave after a dye job that went horrible for her. The salon didn't style their hair and left it wet in the middle of the winter. Highly recommend not getting your hair done here, for both men and woman. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

I love coming here! Jessica G is amazing and really understands what I want with my curly hair. She is very knowledgeable with her products and she has helped me so much. She also cuts my mom’s hair and she loves going to her as well. I will definitely be back and will be recommending her to my family and friends.

Christine and the rest have been cutting my hair for years now and I am always satisfied and will always keep coming back.

Angele is very particular about her work and always does a great job. It's always a fun conversation and she is a very nice girl.

Christine cut my hair Saturday and I love it, excellent job. They sanitize everything after each customer and sweep. Very clean and safe, great job ladies.

I booked a wash and blow dry style today. I was asked a couple times when I called and when I arrived for my appointment if I wanted it done with a flat iron or round brush. I've had my hair done here before with a round brush and it turned out nicely which is why I came back. Today I had a different stylist than the first time which was fine. But, if the stylist didn't know how to blow dry using a round brush, she should have said something. She got my hair caught in the back of the blow dryer which she had to pull out out. At the end of the service my hair looked like someone electrocuted my head. I did mention to the stylist that I've had my hair blow dried with a round brush manyyy times and never has it turned out this way. Not only did she not suggest to fix it, but also charged full price. I don't know how First Choice Haircutters hires a mix of experienced and non-experienced stylists. Never again!

Worst ladies ever seen in life!

You want to call and book an appointment, the lady on the phone says that you can walk in as they are not busy. When I went the lady at the desk says wait for half an hour! I checked back in half an hour, she said to wait another half an hour. After waiting for an hour and no one in the saloon the two ladies go back in there back room and I heard them talking and they said something about brown guy! I ignored and waited for them to say something to me. I asked myself to the lady again and she said that they have an appointment so I have to wait more! This is ridiculous and unprofessional and racist from the ladies that worked there! Worst is that those ladies themselves didn’t look professional and dressed unprofessionally too.

Need them to behave with the customers, don’t pass any comments, and don’t waste the time.if you want to Keep doing what you are doing, work at the place where you don’t have to face the customers as it shows how I’ll mannered you are. I wish I had an option of not selecting any stars!

Don’t go to this place as there’s a million barber shops around that deal you with respect and honor you as a client.

Have been going there for almost 9 years. Met Christine she is so nice, warm, friendly. I will only have her to do my hair she know exactly what to do she explain what going on with my hair because I have a problem with my hair. It’s been hard to find a good hairdresser but Christine is the best.

I always have the best experience from one of their hair stylist's Christine. I've been going to her for years. She helped point out different products that prevented my hair from turning orange (due to hard water from my home). My son has been going to her since he was six months old. Christine let's him look at the tools that she is using to ensure that he is aware of each item getting close to his head. I would recommend her!

Recommended! I had Christine do my hair color and cut. She was fast, efficient, friendly, down to earth and did exactly what suited my face and style I was going for! I feel fresh and clean cut once again! She also did my two daughters age 3 and 2. She was able to work with them and keep them occupied and still as she could with distractions while cutting their hair. She knew just the right things to say to my little girls! I will defiantly be returning again to see “Miss Christine” as my two girls call her. They enjoyed her company as much as I did! Their hair looks the best it ever has, now easy for me to style. She even gave me some quick tips and tricks in dealing with little girls hair and preventing tangles.

I've been going to Chris for 12+ years and she gave my son his first haircut 10+ years ago and he won't let anyone other than her cut his hair. Amazing stylist with an equally amazing personality.

I had asked for a cut and layered. All I got was a one length bob style. I could've done that for a lot less than $30.

It was my second visit. Angele is a very good hair dresser. Thought I visited 30 mins before closing but still she spend sufficient time on my hair cut and finished her work very precisely and gently. She understood, exactly what type of cut I want from the picture i have shown to her.

I'm not going to lie, I was looking for a completely different place closer to where I lived and I couldn't find it and wound up here. I am so glad that happened! This will forever be my go to location so long as Tina is the person who does my hair. I walked in with my hair in TERRIBLE condition. What happened to be a defect in my salt water filtration system, ended with dangerously high chlorine levels, and being unknown to me, on one of the hottest days of this year, I swam in the pool for SIX hours. I woke up the next morning with my hair completely fried and damaged. I walked in, spoke with Tina and told her what happened, and she worked her magic. My hair turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I literally told her to do what she felt would best suit myself and that I wanted to keep as much length as possible but to get rid of the completely damaged parts. She knocked it out of the park! Not only that, but she recommended some amazing products to help with my coloured and damaged hair. For what could have ended in disaster Tina did an incredible job! She made me feel comfortable during the entire time, she was confident in her work, and it made the whole process less scary. I HIGHLY recommend this angel of a woman! I will definitely be back, solely for her! Thank you again Tina!

Stopped by today, was warned it would be a bit of a wait, 'Chris' was wonderful, freindly, great job on the haircut, the stylists all seem to know everybody that came in, good covid-19 protocols, highly recommend this location,

Went in today for haircut of myself and my Son with my wife. The moment we entered the reception desk we were treated by the lady as if we were unwanted (very much because of our skin color it seemed. It was literally showing from the rude way the lady was talking to us and she did everything possible to make us feel the same.) She took our names In and said it will take around 30 minutes and we waited happily for our turn for the same in our car. After which we saw around 8 to 10 people coming in after us and were taken for haircut and we were still waiting and waiting.we waited for 1 hour still and after which I went inside and asked the other lady who was one of the hair dresser and it was her turn now to insult us. She very arrogantly and rudely said you have to wait and that's it. Not at all ready to hear me out or my query. So I still took it into my stride and still waited. After 1 hour more (Now the wait was 2 hours) we asked the other lady who was a little old and she honestly was not that rude or arrogant compared to the other 2 before her. She said actually she don't even know when will they take us for our turn. Frustrated, Insulted and after 2 hours of waiting we decided to leave and I was trying to take the number on the board hanging above reception of customer feedback before leaving and guess what? The lady whom I hade talked the second time jumped in and said to her colleague that he is taking the number and is going to complain. And not only that she couldn't resist to shout at us and tell us that you can leave whatever comment you want and we care a damn about feedback from people like you. Do whatever you want and we don't care about the same. Long story short just go here if you want to insult yourself and treated like an unwanted allien. They wasted our 3 hours of Sunday (which was no problem at all for them. Infact they would have wanted us to wait till they close and see us suffer) and were not even apologetic for the treatment given to us. I really can't describe the treatment given to us but it literally brought tears in my wife's eyes and my sin who patiently waited for 2 hours even being a 5 year old kid. God Bless them and give them some humanity and emotions.

Raised prices and terrible haircut. I got my haircut today thought I'd save a couple bucks by going here instead of my regular barber. Wanted my hair cut short and slicked back on top. Ended up paying more than my regular place and the cut was terrible.lady just kept saying should have gotten an undercut instead of a blend. Never had issues before with my cut. Very disappointed and not returning. If your a guy dont get your hair cut here.

I 100% recommend coming here to get your haircut! The people there are always so nice and informative. I have to admit, my favourite employee their is a woman named Pat, she was amazing and made me feel comfortable. The only problem I had was that I can't grow my hair fast enough to get another haircut soon!

Visited this place on 8th August for my full hair colour. I had highlights so i told them to cover it but i am totally disappointed. Its not even a month and colour is getting off. My coloured highlights looks brown. I also had some white hair which is still there. I paid 100$ plus tip. Waste of money. My hair looks bad. What a waste of money and time.

I have been going Christine for a few years now. Service with her is always great, whether a trim or a colour, Christine is awesome. A great place, so clean, everyone who works there are so nice. Great atmosphere.

I have been getting my hair cut by Chris since I was in elementary school. I am now 21 and won't go to anyone else to cut my hair! Always exceptional service and I always make sure to call and book with her. My lifetime hairstylist, don't know what I would do if she left First Choice!

Always a great cut by Mary who has recently moved from Magicut. Lovely girl, listens to what I want and always does a great job, been seeing her for 20 years. Place is clean and professional and friendly.

Staff are very accommodating and you can see that they're being extra careful while we're still in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic.

I had Chris work on my hair and she is a lovely person. She works with you to make sure she provides you with the style you like and constantly throws out suggestions in case you're ever not sure. She's also got stories you wouldn't believe actually happened. You can tell she loves what she does and I'm grateful for it.

Angell is apsoloulty amazinggggg! I have never had just 1 stylist but I will follow Angell where ever she may go! She knows exactly what I am looking for. And is amazing with colours and cutts! The prices are also pretty reasonable too!

I don’t understand meaning of booking Appointment online with hair cutter. I booked at 7.30 pm with Christine after work. I arrived at 7.20. She was cutting someone’s hair and other customer was waiting. She said that she had to take me in after those 2 hair cuts.
I don’t understand booking ahead in advance, at certain time and with certain hair cutter if I still have to wait for that long. Then what’s difference if I have just walked in.
Probably they don’t understand meaning of booking an appointment.
I walked out with deciding that I am Never stepping in again
