First Choice Nails Spa

I use to go this place and always i had a good experience. This time i went for my refills but the experience was really bad Jenny totally messed up with my nails. She was so unprofessional.

Lisa was amazing as usual, so attentive, careful and thoughtful. Her dedication shows through her work. My favourite place to come for my nails, I have recommended so many family and friends whom are now regular customers.

I got my nails done here for the first time today and it was great the lady was very nice and when i was going to her she was very nice to me and my mom

I had a great time with Lisa! She's so gentle with my nails and created a really beautiful nail set for me thank you Lisa

Bad Experience.
I asked for an acrylic removal and to paint my natural nails with gel nail polish. They didn’t soak the nails or anything she (the old one) ripped my nails off with a gel x tip and broke every single one of my natural nails underneath. Mind you, I had pretty long nails and I wanted to keep their length mostly in tact. Welp. Then she had lots of attitude when I was trying to pick my color and kept telling me to put my hands in the uv light when they were already in it‍️ She talks a lot in her native language which is not a problem but she would say things to me in that language which i do not understand.then I’d ask the co-workers what she meant and they don’t respond to me… odd. Must be talking bad about clients? Anyways, i’m not coming back here

If I could give a lower star I would. Absolutely the worst customer service ever. And I have been here a couple of times before, mediocre work sometimes even less than mediocre. The customer service makes it less than worth it. I just needed my shellac removed and I offered to pay whatever but this man refused because my actual color wasnt from them. It was an emergency and I requested very nicely. My question is, if I was going to get another color of course they would have removed the first one before doing it again so what is the reason? They have even done it for me before but this man flat out refused for no reason! Shows lack of respect for the customer and even though in the grand scheme of things it wont matter to them but you did lose a multiple time customer because you refused to help them especially in a time of need. DO NOT GO HERE!

These people don’t know how to do face wax. Don’t know what kind of cheap product they use it gave me so much acnes and pimples. Please don’t play with people’s skin. The Lady was so interested in my personal life instead of work. Got the worst service ever. I am dam sure i went to this location. Contradicting a costumer doesn’t feel really professional. Unprofessional and thinking that the customer is dumb

I got my nails done for the first time and very very disappointed with the work they have done. None of the nails were shaped or filled properly. I came on vacation for month and i cant even go back and fix them. Lady was very nice very fast but I didn’t like her work

Best place to get your nails done, the nail technician is actively helping with each step of the process including helping pick a good colour. I will be coming here often I love my mani & pedi!

I got my nails done by Jun, who did an incredible job. She did exactly as wanted, which the design I asked was complex as each nail had a different style. She was patient and did great service. She is greatly talented. Highly recommended. All the staffs were so kind and helpful as well.

I booked a few days earlier, confirmed the appointment once I arrived they said they can’t take me because of no staff. Very disappointing I came from Downtown Toronto and was pregnant. This occurred a month ago.

I wish i could give a zero star…. Really bad service.
I wanted to take my nails off, waited for an hour and then the owner said they can’t, i have to go back where i have got them done. I told him that i have got them done from india he said okay wait. Then he went to attend another client like seriously. I wasted one hour just to go back without getting anything.

Really nice salon and professional people. The girl who did my nails was really nice and even suggested that white flowers would be better than the gold flowers i had asked for, and she was right! I really appreciated that and the nails themselves came out wonderfully.

Worst experience. No point in making appointments with them because they don’t honour it. I had a scheduled appointment but they still made me wait an entire HOUR. They have no consideration for peoples time. If you want good service go right across to Pedi N Nails instead.

It was really a nice first experience with first choice nails spa. Best pedicure service by susan. She did great job ️ Found really a nice and calm place for nails.

I went for acrylic nails and they started without even giving me time to choose nail color

I had ‘the worst’ experience at this place. Not only did they do a horrible job of bio-gel nails, but offered a horrendous customer service. I booked an appointment for 6 pm, and arrived there at 5: 45 pm. I was waiting for my turn when another customer came in for a 6 pm appointment as well and they prioritized that customer over me because she ‘looked’ expensive, and made me wait till 6: 30 pm. When it was my turn, I confirmed with the worker that I want the previous set of bio-gel extensions removed, and put on a new set, to which she replied ‘okay. ’ She was rough with removal of the extensions. She yanked them out, and while preparing my nails for next set, she nipped the surrounding skin thrice. I put my AirPods on to block out the unpleasant sensations, and started watching my show. Later, I realized that she put the bio-gel on my own nails. She never glued new extensions. She did a real lousy job of that too, and made my nails look uneven. I felt she was rushing to get the job done. She than billed me $60 if I pay cash, and the other employee who had prioritized other customer over me gave a scowl, and confirmed with me that I did in fact get bio-gel on my own nails. Anyways! I am never going back to this place, and I recommend no one else does, especially if they don’t want to spend money on a lousy, half-hearted job! And 1 star because ZERO is not an option, otherwise ZERO! Oh, and I forgot to add the lady who did my nails did not even bother to clean them up at the end! Disgusting job!

Got shellac done on my real nails from there less than 1 week ago and it started chipping and peeling of after 2 days. Never going back to this place!

Negative: It was the first time I went there, but it hurt me a lot. The lady was pushing my skin very hard and asking her to be gentle, but she kept pushing hard, and my fingers came to the point of bleeding, and they charged me 75$.

I payed 15 bucks to get my old acrylic nails literally yanked off my nails, I'm actually currently bleeding on one of them. (This is what they called an acrylic nails removal) Didn't even have the audacity to hydrate my nails with cuticle oil. Please out of respect for any person trying to get their nails removed DO NOT COME HERE.

I had my shellac and UV Gel done on hands - wonderful lady named Lisa did it, I would love to go back and get my services done there again.she was polite helpful pleasant, didnot
rush for finishing the stuff.

They did a great job, lots of care and attention to detail. Very friendly and took care of all my cruft! Highly recommend and will come again!

The best nails ever. The place is busy but its worth waiting. I wish my nails grow bit slower. Got so many compliments. Trust me I did houshold stuff with my nails on. Not a single damage. Highly recommended.

I’ve been going to this location since they opened up. They consistently have superior service. They treat their employees well, you see the same employees for many years.
Ann is easy to deal with and so is her husband. They are calm and do not push extra services.
Accommodating and honest.

Terrible product quality. Got shellac done on my real nails from there less than 2 weeks ago and it started chipping within a week. And in the second week, it all started peeling off. The whole purpose of getting shellac is so your nails don't chip and when i called them to complain, i was spoken with in the rudest tone. I was told straight up that it's been two weeks and they can't do anything. I've had shellac before from other spas and it used to last at least a month. Never going back to this place!

I don’t usually write reviews but this has to be one of the worst nail salon places for costumer service. Considering how much you pay for your nails, you think they would value their costumers.the paint on my nails chipped of the next day, I went in to get them to re-do it and the lady was being so snobby, and arrogant. Definitely will not be going here again!

Went to get my acrylics removed, lady used the automated filer machine to "remove" my nails. As you can see in the image she didn't even remove them properly! Terrible job!

I went there for Manicure and shellac nail paint.
The service was worst. They put the cheap nail paint, that took off next day.

I honestly wish I could give less stars. The workers don't care about doing a nice job, they only care that they get as many customers in and out of door in a day. I came in to get my nails done for my birthday a month ago and they were pretty, however, the lady doing my nails didn't let my nails fully dry before putting another coat on top. This led to me believing that they were dry and having them ruined as soon as I got home. I managed to fix my nails the next day right at home. A week later one of the nails broke and since I was on vacation, I had no way of getting it fixed. I recently had the nails removed by another nail salon and all the acrylic came off but the glue they used did not. The tip of my nail was then ripped off because the glue had a very strong hold on the tip of my nails. I will not be going back to this salon due to poor service and poor product quality.

I just recently started coming here after being suggested to by my sister but I have 0 complaints. Joanne is great and perfects my nails every single time. The whole staff is super nice and I leave happy each time. 10/10 recommended

I’ve been coming to this salon for years and I am always happy with the service I was provided. Everyone there is very sweet especially Joanne. She is extremely talented, takes her time and always provides expectational service.

Went there to do my natural nails. I requested that I did not want them to use the machine to remove the shellac from my nails. They refuse because to them it's going to take to long to soak my nails.why worry about time if the customer agrees to wait? Me waiting will not even hinder them from moving to the next customer. You provide a service you should have patience to do it.

Very bad service we wait for 2: 30 hour but they were telling everyone 30 minutes wait results also very bad I paid $22 for this thing

These people only care about quickly rushing their job to fit in the next person. Extremely hostile and do not listen. Complete garbage selection of polishes, a clear disregard for hygeine.

Don’t ever go here i went for a pedicure and 2 days later my toe got swollen and infected turned green I had to take the nail polish off and and 6 days later it was still infected they are not unsanitary don’t clean there stuff after new person comes in

I had a very very horrible experience with the male nail technician at this nail spa! I showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted to get done and even agreed to pay extra to make it perfect! He stated he knew how to do the style I requested and BOTCHED MY NAILS!

I had an appointment and had to wait more than one hour to be taken. The man there is extremely rude and hostile.

Poor customer service, they don't show up for their scheduled appointments with clients and don't seem to care or apologize. This has happened on more than two occasions. Some of the workers do not speak a word of English.

My nails chip off in 1 week and when i went there.i told them that shellac usually stays for 3-4 weeks, she laughed and said i want that kind nails too.they never even bother to fix them.annoying.i would suggest to never go there.

Super Unprofessional. I booked an appointment for 6. I reached at 6 and till 6: 30 they didnt attend me. I could see people coming after i got in and getting their nails done but I didn’t say anything at first. Then around 6: 40 they asked me to sit and wait for my pedicure. They made me dip my feet in water and I kept sitting for another 30-35 mins. The guy there told me somebody will be with you in a minute. No one did. At last I stood up and walked out.
Their work is great but no customer service. Very disappointed.

The ladies and even the man are VERY rude and unprofessional. However, I have gone here about a 3 times. The first time I did bio gel and shellac, the fake nails fell off within 4 days and the shellac chips easily. The second time I did solar gel (which lasts about a 3-4 weeks for me usually) but it fell off within a week and a half. Definitely choose wisely before you go here.
