Not sure how many Drs are here but the one we saw today was horrible. Interrupted me multiple times when I tried to describe symptoms. Brushed me off, and gave some ridiculous answer for what was going on that made zero sense.

I would absolutely recommend this walk-in clinic. The Receptionist Sharon went ABOVE AND BEYOND to be extremely helpful to myself and Family through a tough time and I will be forever grateful for all that she had done to help us, this world needs more compassionate and caring people such as herself.

The Pharmacist was also a very friendly and personable man who was also very efficient and helped us get what we needed very quickly, there was no waiting around for our prescriptions.

As for the doctor, I would for sure recommend him. I get VERY anxious going to the doctor, but he made the visit very lighthearted while still being very professional and unlike a lot of doctors, he listens, and that to me is very important!

I have been trying to call them since 24hrs I think everyone there has gone back to ice age no one has responded so visited the clinic and they said they don’t have walk-in and asked me to come the next day morning. Their website always shows “CLOSED”. It’s a waste of time.

Gave this place a second try after my first bad experience. The second was way better. They had a totally different receptionist which was very empathic and kind and very organized.

Would never go here again. Receptionist was telling me there was no doctor the doctor would call me but I saw other people going at the back to see the doctor. Told me I may have to take my toddler to the hospital because he had a cough.thank God I found another walk in clinic that exam my baby and he was just fine with the common cold.smh.

Came at 8: 45 so i would be first in line right at opening at 9am. I was first in line and was registered first and told I would be seen first. I was then told doctor doesn't come until 9: 30. It's 10am now and doctor finally arrives, goes into room beside me to deal with another patient first. So I have waited an hour even though I was first from 9 to 10am. How is this possible?

This is the third time I came to First Line Walk-in Clinic and each time I came here I meet a different receptionist each one of them were very nice, kind, very polite and courteous. But the first one is the nicest. I met her about 3 weeks ago. Each time I came the receptionist told me the wait time and told me. I can leave return and if when I return my name is called, before I return she would put me in right away. The first two times I came my name was already called and each time I was put in as told.

Today my third visit there was a cocain guy infront of me who was very impatient and rude to the receptionist as soon as his turn came up to the receptionist. He rudely told her if I would have a long wait I can't wait. As soon as the receptionist open her mouth to say some thing to him he said, don't "I will go". He grab his heath card and left.

People you are coming to a walk in clinic not your doctor office and if you don't want to wait a long time. Make appointment and go see your own family doctor. If you must come to a Walk-in Clinic come and line up first thing in the morning, you won't wait long. The later in the day you come the longer the wait is. If you are a person who's impatient and have a short temper don't come at all. These receptionist are people too and have patience be nice.

Had an appointment at 12: 30 to get travel shots, had to wait over 2 hours to even see the doctor.i was late to work as a result.i don’t understand the reason for booking appointments if you won’t be able to see the doctor at the stated time.

we were not informed that we had to get our own medication for the vaccines. (correct me if i’m wrong but i have never been tasked to go and collect my own medication for a vaccine, i assumed since our appointment was booked for a vaccine we would have been supplied the medication?). When we returned with our medication we asked for the doctor to come see us, the reception said it was “our fault for not being prepared with the medication” and proceeded to talk about us with the pharmacist LOUDLY.the receptionist then went to the doctor and complained that we “yelled at her”.

the pharmacist seemed nice enough, doctor was okay.the reception needs to practice better professionalism and needs to understand that speaking loudly about a patients appointment in a public setting has to be breaking confidentiality.

This is the worst clinic I've ever been at. Not only are the receptionist rude but service is almost non existent. There aren't any doctors on site on Wednesdays and 3 times I've been sent away because they've reach thier capacity. THERE WASNT ANYBODY THERE. This is not a walk in clinic

This clinic is useless. They have a recording with their hours and their site has their hours. If you have Covid symptoms, they want you to call ahead. I didn't have Covid as per 2 tests. Their recording and site say they are open on Sundays. I tried calling for 90 minutes when I finally gave up as I suspected they were closed. When I drove there, they were in fact closed. Update your voice recording and your site. People are expecting to speak to someone and hadn't I driven there, I would never have known.

TL;DR DON'T GO TO THIS CLINIC THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH OR ACTUALLY TREATING YOU! THEY DON'T CALL YOU BACK AND COULD CARE LESS

Terrible walk-in clinic. I call ahead to see if I can walk-in or if I need an appointment, but no one answers the phone, so I drive down to the walk-in. When I walk in there is already someone waiting there and the pharmacist next to the walk-in tells us that the receptionist will be here in 15 minutes. 40 minutes later the receptionist finally arrives and tells me that no I can't see a doctor and I'm going to have to do a phone consultation for something that'll likely need an ultrasound or x-ray. Save your time and go somewhere else. If the receptionist can't even bother to be at the clinic why should you.

Update: so the doctor called me 30 minutes after our scheduled time and rushed the call and didn't even bother to give me his name or anything. He told me to go to the x-ray clinic and that all I need to show them was my health card and that they'll take care of the rest. So 2 days later I go there and he never sent the requisitions to them, after he told me I could go the next day on the phone. Don't come here, your health isn't worth these guys not giving you care

Update 2: Still no call back or even a acknowledgment that I'm one of their patients. It's been 3 weeks, they couldn't even bother to call to get an update on my condition. I feel like I don't need to say this again, but don't come here

Update 3: it's been 3 months since the original phone consultation, the doctor never called me back. Don't come here

Poor service. I already talked to the doctor request to send the referral to the another doctor. He said yes. After wait for 3 weeks, called them again, referral was still pending. If the doctor was away from the office, why when they come don’t finish the pending work. Lady booked the appointment again and said talked and request to the doctor again. Why we called and explain same thing again and again to the doctor. Staff and doctor must change their self. And give priority to the pending work first.terrible experience.

Worst worst walk in clinic ever. Still can not find a good walk in clinic in Cambridge. Not just the receptionist is rude, the doctor is condescending and doesn’t want to even listen or try to understand your problem. No matter what you tell him, he would not take it seriously. Very sad that there is no accountability and the taxpayers are suffering with such kind of attitude from the doctors who are being PAID well by the government and who are SUPPOSED to treat the people well. Nobody goes to the doctors just for fun. We only go there because we or our family is in pain and need their advice. Very very disappointed.

I took phone consultation from first line walk in clinic and the receptionist told me visit life lab for the X-ray given by doctor and receptionist said I will send your requisition to lab but I waited there for 3 hours to get the requisition and i called to ask the requisition and receptionist said her gmail is not working and keep putting me on hold they wasted my whole day I never recommend anyone to get services from them overall it was bad experience

Honestly Dr Van is the worst dr i am so shocked having such a idiot doctor in Canada, he is non responsive can barely speak proper English never takes anything seriously, i would give 0, also this place is always behind on appointments at least by 30-45 mins minimum and no follow ups on any tests.go somewhere else if you want to see a good dr.

This place is worst i had a bad experience with dr Van actually he doesn't care about the clients and he is so rude man. I had my tb test from here and he told to me am tb postive later on i went fr chestxray on 6 th january since from that day i was calling and went two days fr report but they said they didn' receive it. When i went to xray department and they said they sent to dr van on the same day. So finally i can say he is irresponsible doctor, he doesn't know the value of tym, i paid to him but still he doesn't care for the client that report is important fr me to submit to my employer. I loss my 15 days money just because of him.

As others have shared, the doctor at this walk-in clinic is extremely rude! He cut me off as I was trying to express my medical concern, and he made degrading comments towards me as a person, presuming judgment on me when he didn't take time to listen to me! I would never recommend anyone going to this walk-in clinic due to the extremely poor ability of the doctor to be personable or demonstrating concern to patients!

I had an appointment at 12: 50PM, receptionist told me to wait in my car outside. They called be after 1 hour 10 Minutes. Furthermore, I agree with all the people because I had the same experience with the doctor. He had no clue, he cut me off in the middle of conversation, he did not give me any alternative. I will never recommend anyone to go at this location ever.

So I have been having some issues following my insertion of an IUD, after the removal I was still having issues and so the doctor who inserted it did a bunch of stuff for me, but since I didn't have a family doctor, asked me to follow up with a walk in clinic. Unfortunately I called this one, and it was THE WORST experience I have ever had with a doctor.
Its a phone consultation (due to COVID-19), which is fine. So, we are talking he is constantly interrupting me and asking why if this doctor was diagnosing me on such a small abnormality, I dont need medication but if the other doctor was qualified they should have prescribed me. I responded and explained she isnt a family doctor and wanted someone who I could easily follow up with, and he was so rude the whole time. Interrupting me, and so I had said "I dont understand why you are being so rude to me, I called to get help, not to just be disrespected and told I am wrong the whole time. I know how I feel. And during that conversation he told me "saying I am rude is not accepted, do not say that again" at least 4 times, and then proceeded to CALL ME BACK 3x after that conversation to tell me that I was wrong to "say rude", "to apologize, but that he will not accept calling me rude" and "do not say that again, he is trying to help me" and it was just a SUPER terrible experience. I wish I got his name but I am assuming it is the same person that everyone else is complaining about.
I understand if you are overworked, and going through a lot and are probably VERY busy, but cutting me off, disregarding my concerns, and telling me that the abnormality that I do have in my bloodwork is not enough to medicate, even if I have symptoms is unacceptable behaviour. Thanks for the TERRIBLE experience that further solidifies my anxiety whenever I am seeking a doctors help.

The receptionist and the doctor were both so rude. The Doctor doesn't even let you address your medical situation properly and cuts you off. He was so impatient he disconnected my call, and when I called back regarding my appointment, he failed to call me again. Never had such an awful experience with a Doctor.

My current doctor is on vacation and wasn't available for about month, so based on the opinion of my family doctors receptionist, i decided that to get a quicker referral i would go to a walk-in. I booked an appointment here and the receptionist was basically a robot and the doctor was very rude. He basically turned me away and told me that "this wasn't going to be solved over night" and that i need to go back to my family doctor to be helped. He gave me no advice on how to stay comfortable or what i can do in the mean time to help with the pain, or what might be causing it to have become so extreme.

Current receptionist isn’t very friendly, & the doctor is dodgey and unresponsive to questions but the pharmacist is nice. If you’re in for a sick note, or a quick diagnoses (sprained knee, ear infection, etc.) I have had no problems either with treatment or waiting. Here’s some advice, go in the middle of the day on a weekday, but I know that’s when everyone’s usually at work. Try using Telehealth if you don’t want to wait.

Despite the extra challenges of COVID 19 this clinic has managed to run efficiently. The doctor listened to my concerns regarding my daughter and ran more tests than her pediatrician who suggested more fibre and water. As a result of his diligence and willingness to listen a significant health concern was discovered. I have full confidence in his ability to care for my children. For the first time in a long time I feel like I am in good hands.

Waited 30 minutes to be prescribed medication that interacted dangerously with one of my current medications, even after sharing this information with the practitioner that I was being treated by.

When I went to pick up the prescription outside of the clinic, the pharmacist thankfully caught the error.

Do not go here lest you feel like toying with your health even more.

The worst Dr i have ever met in my life is Dr. Van.
My wife is pregnant for the first time and we never got proper response from him when we ask any doubts to him just because he doesnt like asking questions. Either he says yes or no but never gave any explanation. The only reason we go there is because we dont have any other doctors available at the moment nearby. We decided not to go there any more as he continuous to be the same each time we go there!

I saw the reviews and I thought “is that worse of a place” but my mom had already arranged the appointment so here is my review

Lady at the desk was an Asian young lady who was nice and patient with me and my mom as my mom doesn’t speak English very much

After we went to see doctor v, which he hears my moms symptoms and gives her a blood exam and a anti depressive

Now the details why I took 2 stars out
I started reading to him about my moms symptoms which she wrote on her phone
Then halfway trough he turns to the computer and I started wondering if he really was listening to me

He didn’t explain nothing about the causes, symptoms or what could lead to what.simply turned and gave my mom blood exam and the medicine, I just felt him vague, like, man, do you really like your job? !
If he is working too much, give him some rest

But other than that, my mom is taking the medication, no problems at all so far, it’s her second day. So I’ll keep the update

This is a review of this walk in clinics hiring experience as a potential employee.
I feel that this clinic is extremely unprofessional and would like to steer anyone away from seeking employment at this clinic.
The position I was applying for was a medical receptionist with RPN duties.
I applied with my resume on Indeed about two weeks ago. A few hours later I received a ‘congratulations on making it to the next level’ email and an invitation to complete a customer service questionnaire to which I completed promptly that same day.
A few days pass, heard nothing so I decided to call. After a pleasant phone call with one of the receptionists there she told me that I should be hearing from John soon and that she would pass my information along.
4 business days pass and I have heard nothing again, I decided to call again and ask for John.
A lady answers and says that her name is Sharon (or something close to that name) and says that she is the one who does the hiring for the clinic.
I thought to myself great! We proceeded to have a brief phone interview (to which she cut me off several times and was slightly demanding). She then asked me if I could come for an interview that day which I responded that I can not as I live in another city currently but will be moving to Kitchener permanently August 1st. She did not seem pleased with that answer and demanded that I come on Tuesday July 30 for an interview (meanwhile keep in mind I lived 3 hours away and July 30 is only two days before I was moving to Kitchener). I agreed in the moment on the phone because I was really excited about this opportunity.
She seemed very interested in me on the phone and kept saying that she wanted to hire someone ASAP (even though for about 2 weeks I heard nothing back from anyone and I had to call 3 times).
Anyways, I sent an email to her that night explaining that I was very interested in the opportunity but that I have my notice at my current job and the last day that I committed to was July 31 therefore I would be leaving them short staffed and wouldn’t feel good about that (and I thought she would want to know that I am the type of person who likes to stick to their word and not leave people in a bad spot).
I explained that I could skype interview on the 30th or I could meet for an in person interview 2 DAYS later. I finished by saying that I was still very interested and would like an interview still and to let me know if they would prefer to move forward with someone else!
I thought I was being pretty reasonable. Anyways, it’s now the 31st and I never received an email back. I’m disappointed as I truly was excited about this position, but now I believe 100% that I dodged a big bullet.
Work on your management and hiring process. Have the courtesy to respond to people. You’re going to keep getting bad reviews if you keep this up.

I don't wanna give this clinic any star but no Choice anyways the doctor doesn't know anything and not knowledgeable at all. My toe was broken and he didn't even do anything and he said he can't do anything even if it's broken, no advice at all, not give me a requisition for an x-ray until I ask for it so how can he be a doctor? Its whole waste of time. The nurse seems nice though.

My wife took a branch in the eye and it scratched her I pretty bad.
We saw Dr. Van Binh Ngoc.
Caring, funny man. Totally lighten the mood and provided excellent attention and care for my wife. Sure the waits a bit long (1.5 hours), but the alternative is CMH, and if I could rate that right now I'd rate it a 1; I have waited no less than 5 hours and as much as 8 hours there for something more serious.

They have long waits more than 2-3 hrs. During weekends they mentioned open till 3pm, but actually closes the registrations before 1.30 pm so plan your visit accordingly.

I am never going back. Worst pharmacy in Cambridge. I had just seen a docter at the clinic for my illness. I was in pain and irritated and just wantes to go home as soon as possible. The docter had perscribed me a series of medication out of which one was optional. After the pharmasist handed me $160 bill I asked her to take off the medication that was optional and advised that it was only $6 and would not make much of a difference to the bill. The extreamly rood woman never gave us a breakdown of the bill and only explained the dosage for one of the medications. The room was full of other patients and because I didn't want to be in the other poor people's way I left to my car. I was when I had left that I saw my bill and realized that the medication I had asked the pharmacist to exclude was $53 instead of $6. I went back immediately to ask for a refund. There was noonw else in line when I went back. Instead of helping me out first she told me to wait, took two other customer and helped them out and asked me to come forward 15 minutes later just to tell me she can't give me a refund. The pharmacy had no written policy on the the reciept or any sign saying that they cannot return or refund unopened medication. I felt cheated, dissappointed and also ill treated by the pharmasist and will never go back.

Worst ever doc.asian doc name doc van.how's he become doc here I dnt know. Worst ever experience. I came out in tear there no respect that as patient v wait for 2 or 3 hrs and than when doc check and argue it's just oh my. I'm just giving review so people just b aware be that what doc he is.
Management should consider about him.they will lose business.

Receptionists are completely incompetent. Went here with my mother and niece and when my mother gave them my health card, she obviously didn’t bother looking at it? She tells my mother she needs my weight, which I found weird, so I went and waited for her and she says in a condescending voice “no, not you” and loud enough that I felt quite embarrassed. I have severe social anxiety so going to the clinic was hard enough without that experience. Then she tells me “only children need to be weighed, not 19 year olds” once again condescending with no consideration of privacy. I was very embarrassed. She said she thought it was my niece who was being checked. I don’t understand that though because she took my card and my face is right on it. I’m pretty sure children’s health cards don’t even have a picture, so that should’ve been the first clue, the next clue is the photo of my face? And the fact that it says my age. Also, I was getting a cartilage piercing checked out, because it became badly infected. Why would a young child have a cartilage piercing?
It wouldn’t have been so bad if I didn’t have social anxiety, but the only reason I was in that situation is because the lady obviously had no brains and didn’t know how to look at a health card and think reasonably about what she was told the patient was in for. Please hire people that can do their job.

This is worst clinic I have ever experienced. Two rude receptionist stop taking patients 3 hours early even there is only 5 to 8 people are sitting. I don't know who is operating this clinic. I have seen them talking each other their own own language all the time and ignore all patient. They take an advantage even Doctor don't know how many patient behind. Management is worst.

Dr. Ngoc Binh Van is absolutely phenomenal. He is always extremely helpful, professional and kind. I always have a great experience. Most of the 1 star reviews are from inpatient patients, it’s one of the only walk in clinics in the city.

Terrible experience. Waited a long time (which is expected at walk in clinics) however, once my name was called I saw Dr. Van Binh Ngoc. I am not someone to usually leave negative reviews, but I feel as though this is necessary. He has TERRIBLE bed side manner. He did not make eye contact with me, spoke quietly and under his breath so I could barely hear him. Was irritable when I did not understand him. I was then very uncomfortable, and it was hard to talk about what I waited 2 hours to talk about. A huge waste of time.

Ridiculously long wait times, over two hours so far with pink eye and an infection. Only one doctor to see all patients. Not first come first serve, then seem to take phone appointments, people would just walk in and go straight in to see doctors. This is the state of healthcare in Cambridge. Er likely has much shorter wait times.

If you say you close on Sunday's at 1pm you should stop taking people at 1pm. I went in here yesterday at 12: 05pm and was told they where at a max limit.this is our heath care system putting CAPS on FREE heath care. Went to Kitchener walk in where they accepting patents till 3 PM (when they close) I wouldn't send anyone to this walk in unless your looking for death. I should also mention the little girl at the front desk taking information has no interest in her job or compassion for people, perhaps seeking a different career path may due you some good. We did not come to a walk in clinic on a Sunday to get attitude from a child.

I paid over 100 dollars to get my TB test done. I know i did not have TB it was just a paper i needed to get signed to start a job. After 2 shots I was told i have TB when i clearly didnt. I am no nurse or doctor but I know i was in the clear. I decided to redue this test elsewhere and my thoughts were right i was in the clear 0 sign of tb.the doctors do not know what they are doing. The wait is unbelieveable I could drive to a missisauga walk in clinic and be back by the time its my turn. I do not know how these ppl are not shut down.only good service is the receptionist.

I went to this clinic to get a pap done. I showed up three hrs before close. Then I was told right before close there wasn't enough time for my test. So they "scheduled" me in for the following day at the same time. Well what do ya know, I waited three hours again the next day and was told AGAIN there was no time for the Dr to to my test. UNREAL.

I would have expected a little bit more of a pleasant / welcoming behaviour from her.the other staff on the contrary was very pleasant and with a smile always. I believe that small things like this can either make or break the reputation of a firm.

This is the only Clinic that answered the phone and provided a wait time, everyone else has an automated msg telling you to go to the Emergency. Really? ! Anyway this must be a good clinic since it's very busy (16 ppl when I walked in) as opposed to Zero ppl at the Forbes Clinic just 15 min earlier (Forbes did not offer the service I needed due to their ignorance). The doctor was to the point and neutral, just what I usually need. The front desk girl Andrea here at Firstline is running this place amazingly, multi-tasking like a pro while being so nice and accomodating. I haven't seen a young person this gifted and caring in a looong time, God bless you and thank you for serving your community with such kindness and professionalism.
