Best Fish and Chips Restaurant in Ontario reviews

Still the best fish and chips. We moved away and hadn't been there for over 25 years. We were in the area and had to go back to Hutch's. The food didn't disappoint!

This soup cost just over $8. Chicken gumbo. I needed 6 regular size spoons to finish it. I love the establishment but something ain’t right anymore. We can blame the government (which I do) but let’s be real here someone is taking advantage of customers...

It was one of the slowest services I have experienced in restaurants. It was very slow and expensive. The only positive point is the view. Other than that, if it was possible for me, I won't even rate it 1star. It took 40 to 50 min to get fish n chips...

Just tried here for the first time this evening, the food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely be visiting again next time I’m in town.

Just took my family of four to grab fish and chips and to go down to the water in Brockville. The haddock was beyond good! Super crispy fries awesome dark gravy. Been coming to this place for 15+ years super friendly people inside. Strongly recommend...

So in the restaurant’s defense, we ordered delivery. I would have hoped that a place that specializes in fried food would be good at packaging fried food. I was wrong. I’m sure the food is great at the restaurant but this is definitely not a delivery...

We came at a very busy time. Our waitress was smooth and fast. The lunch was good.

$20 with tip for a basic. Breakfast. 3 eggs 3 bacon 2 slices of toast. Lotsa of coffee. Home fries.
Too much $$$ but times have changed. Good food and service tho.

Fish is smaller than it was when we started going to this restaurant. Taste is still great and service was great thanks to Robyn. She’s very friendly and attentive. We love going here not just for the food but, because you feel welcomed.

We ordered fish and chips for take out and the taste was bad. Fish not fresh and the oil in which the fish and chips were fried tasted old and bad.

Food was expensive for what you got. Fish and chips don't even come with coleslaw. Interior is dated. Service was great

I don't usually write reviews but wow! Ordered delivery and the food came fresh and hot, tasted delicious for a great price. I will definitely be adding it to my list of favourites.

Sunday evening dinner was excellent. Baked Halibut was a treat to be enjoyed!
