It was a very unpleasant experience! Will not go again or recommend friends to go. The final bill for the lobster set meal ordered by two people was $250. Let’s talk about the food first. The taste is average. The key is that my friend came home with diarrhea after eating it! This is very unacceptable; secondly, when it comes to service, it cannot be said that it is lower than the industry average, but that there is no service at all! It’s like we’re eating for free without paying! Even though we always said thank you very politely to the waiter, we were still given a cold face as if we owed him a million dollars. It should be emphasized here that it was not just one waiter who had this attitude, but several of them gave us People feel this way; in the end, with such food and service, a 12% service charge is mandatory when checking out. Why are you so embarrassed? I am not opposed to paying service fees, but it only makes sense to provide good service and make guests feel that they have been served. I feel like writing a review here is a waste of my time and not worth it.

Always great food, 10+ times, every single time. But bring lots of people as portion of food is big, we never exceeded 150/pp, sometimes 100pp, highly recommended, much better than steak house. King cran and Maggie sauce lobster are to die for.

The first time I went to Fishman Lobster Clubhouse was in 2022 and it was a great meal to experience for the first time. I went again recently in 2023 and it doesn’t have the same charm as it used to. For me, I think going here once is enough. It seems that prices have gone up quite a bit and the quality is not matching the price increase. There is a lot of seating and it gets pretty busy even on a weekday for dinner

Come here so many times but the food always so delicious! Crab with salted egg york is my fav! Good place for family dinner time and gathering

The seafood at this place is soooo fresh. I highly recommend the Alaskan crab and lobster; they have unique preparation methods that cater to both Asians and people from other regions. The pricing is relatively reasonable and transparent, but they don't accept credit cards. The ambiance is cozy, making it perfect for gatherings with friends or family. I wouldn't recommend it for small groups as you'd miss out on many delicious options. They also offer free parking.

The only fried lobster place my family goes. Typical noise level when it’s busy and it feels home.

Good restaurant, great food, rude hostess. I reach out to make a reservation and she was extremely rude, like I was an inconvenience. I called to give you business and not ask you for money!

I have been to this restaurant few times and this time is the most disappointing. Not only the price went up due to inflation which is understandable, the quantity has been reduced by 20%, double inflation added to bill. The 12% tips were charged on total including taxes which should be on total before tax, and the tips are not a choice by customers in this restaurant. The popular king crab meat were over cooked with a sticky sauce which I’d different from other times.

By this point, Fishman Lobster Clubhouse is a Toronto landmark. Their lobster mountains look as impressive as they taste. I recommend getting the salted yolk flavour - it's a $40 add-on but finger licking good. Gloves are provided for the meal, and I like to double up.

Reservations are recommended! The lunch menu is slightly cheaper, and which might work out better since it's a heavy meal. Keep in mind this restaurant is cash or debit only.

Have returned. Would recommend.

Huge towers of fried lobster, in that addictive special HK style are paraded to every table here.

There is value to be found in some of the lunch/dinner sets as opposed to ordering Alacarte.

The Sweet and Sour pork here is one of the best I have ever had - in the world. It is perfectly crispy, yet not greasy or oily. The pork, while pork belly with decent amounts of fat, does not overwhelm you. Sauce is not overly sweet or fake sticky. Just perfect for sweet and sour pork lovers.

Lobster is amazing - not much more to stay. The best part is honestly the fries (if you like Fries/Chips).

Everything else is kind of mid, and very expensive - so forget about value and just have fun with the lobster mountain. Bring Cash.

Food was epic.but the service could have been better. We literally got our last dish when we finished our meal. They gave us a discount but would have rather had it with our meal rather than with dessert.

Spent $1000 for 8 people with king crab and 15 lbs lobsters set menu which is not bad, good service and good food, but they now use the french fries instead of the dried fish to serve the lobsters which is not good, taste much different than before.

Definitely unique and something special for seafood lovers. Been four times with my family and friends. Best experienced with others. Mind the group packages for slightly better value.

My ex-boss took me to this place. I have no idea how much he spent but must be super expensive. The seafood combination is great, king crab, lobsters, oysters, veggie, fish, lobster fried rice, soup & dessert. The environment is very nice, surrounded by the fish tanks. Service is nice. It is really a 5 stars

Food is good. I miss the little fried fish they used to garnish the lobster. I've been here over 20 times and no matter what you order, they up sell you on your original order. Another $30-$60 for heavier portions of lobster. Wall to Wall lobsters and they can't find one close to the weight from the menu? Services are definitely getting worse. They didn't serve the soup, or take it the bone in the bass. We bought a cake last time I went and they forgot about it. When I reminded them about the cake the just brought the box out and dropped a knife on the table and walked off. Sadly I'm giving my vip card away as better options are available with better service.

Really cool experience, had the lobster, lobster fried rice, greens, soup of the day, and macarons. Bit on the pricey side but we spent an average of about 70 per person and we were stuffed!

Whoa. This was insanity! So much deeeelicious lobster was had. A little stunned how mediocre the fried rice was though.

Amazing. A unique environment in a big open space restaurant where the walls are all fish tanks filled everything. King crabs the size of a mid size dog. The lobster mountain is a spectacle to behold. You’ll find your self literally just grabbing handfuls of seasoned fried lobster from what feels like an endless supply. Bring your debit or cash as that’s all they accept (no visa) bring good company and bring an appetite.

Got their take out the other day. Food was very fast and cooked in around 15 minutes did not have to wait long at all. Order process is easy and straightforward, need to go to the restaurant to order.

Hope the restaurant will reopen soon to get the full experience!

I have not eaten here since before lockdown and that time the lobster was great but this time not great.
I ordered the same as last time, ginger and green onion and didn’t enjoy the taste. I’m not sure what’s different from last time but it almost had a cabbage like taste and smell.
Sorry but for that price I’ll look elsewhere for my next lobster meal.

As usual, we have no complaints about this place. We went here 1-2 times a year because after a mountain lobster, we get sick of lobster for a while. The restaurant was full went we came in so make sure you book in advance.

Pictures and videos don’t show enough of the experience. The food here was amazing! We had fish, crab, and lobster.

The value is great as long as you have a lot of people with you. We had a table of 13 and we still couldn’t finish our food.

Poor value- took wife and grandson- bought 6lb lobster and 5 lb king crab dinner for $385+. They brought out two live huge crustaceans which i think they use for marketing and sales at all tables, Great for pictures though- Our dinner terrible. They also you on the weight weight.
The veggies were cold, King crab was fried not steamed as we requested. Lobster tower contained french FRIES instead of krill as was the case before. Service was dreadful and lobster looked like it was reheated on grill and then battered and fried. Lobster was dry and tasteless. Total bill came to over $500 plus a $50 tip THEY added to the bill for their shiitty service. We were there at 2 in the afternoon. Go to the Royal Seafood on Sheppard and Brimley if you want great Cantonese lobster and food value. I would not go back to Fishman. Incidentally - the daily market price for Lobster was $9 per pound and they charged $18.and $45.per lb for what the called King Crab! If you calculate what we paid it was Way over priced and lacked quality and taste.

I absolutely loved this place. What a wonderful experience! The food was great - we had the lobster menu. The portions were huge, and all at an affordable price. Looking forward to going back to have the king crab menu. The atmosphere was wonderful. I got swept up with all the giant king crab and lobster surrounding us. The waiters allowed us to take pictures with the crustaceans before they cook them. All in all, it was a highly enjoyable evening. I would recommend it.

I visit this spot a lot since I work in the area. I have to say their service is always good and they keep the place well organized regularly. Pricing is affordable and they serve generous portions.

This place is very famous for their Lobster Mountain and King Crab Legs. When you order the combo, it will come with 3 different cooking styles: Hong Kong Style, Fried Garlic, and Steam. The food was very good and the service was average. But the price is a little pricey. Be prepared for at least 130 CAD for each person in your party. And they only accept CASH or Canadian Debit Card. They are super busy. It's recommended to bring enough changes or ask to pay at the front desk. The waitresses would be too busy to return your changes if you don't give them the exact amount. Their total already included taxes and tips everything. We ended up paying 15 CAD more for our total. It just felt like we were "forced" to pay more tips.

I for one am not a huge fan of seafood but if you are looking for a set menu of seafood and large portions this is your place. It should run you about 100 per person on average with out a drink but there a few cheaper options. Just a reminder, this place only takes cash and debit cards.

Such an amazing experience! We enjoyed our dinner last night for my husband's 40th bday! The food was amazing! The layout of the restaurant was excellent with crabs and lobsters in fish tanks; like Red lobster on steroids!

If you're from America, they only take Canadian debit/credit/cash or American Dollar, heads up!

We were brought or shall I say they dragged a grey bucket to our table with a 6lb king crab to get our approval and we chose three different styles of flavors. Then, they brought plate by plate our meals and it was sooooo much food for two. The style is family sharing like most authentic Asian restaurants!

My husband and I did well, actually he did well I just assisted! This is a must eat restaurant! The veggies they bring are just fillers though, I love veggies but they were flavorless! So they remained on the plate while the star of the show was defeated!

What I loved was there were plenty of waiters to help at all time, they went from table to table to check on you. But, we had one whi looked as if he was a manager and he was awesome. He gave amazing tips on what to order and we were satisfied on our choices. He wore a blue shirt instead of a black shirt, so I'm figuring he was management!

A seafood feast like no other. The food is absolutely delicious!

Perfect for groups and those rowdy familu members and friends.

Be aware, the prices can be up there. But if you have no problems with spending $700+ on a meal for 6, then this is your place.

Although the lobster looks very large it was not old and rubbery as you sometimes get. The lobster and crab was cooked perfectly and the Hong Kong style seasoning is excellent. The portions are large, the accompanying vegetables were good (not too greasy) and the service is very good for a Chinese restaurant

Had the 25lb lobster mountain and 5lb king crab. Both were very good but it was way too much food even for 12 people. The side dishes were ok but nothing special. Will probably be a one time visit that was fun, but soon forgotten.

Omg the lobster is amazing.the popular style is deep fried and stacked like a chimney but to truly enjoy the lobster taste, i recommend steam or boiled

Had their Lunch special. Basically 1 lobster (by weight, ours was like 7.5lb) cooked any way your want plus some veggies and fried rice. They caught the lobster from one of many lobster tanks they have and showed us (photo opps!) Before taking it back to cook it. Overall seems pretty good.service is decent.

Food was good, not great. Definitely felt like it was more for the experience of getting a tower of seafood rather than enjoying the food itself. The fried lobsters and crab were the way to go, you can really ignore the steamed crab and fried rice dishes.

This place is well known for their lobster mountains and king crab - there are many set dinners that you can choose from that are all pretty fantastic value for the amount of food you get. You can also order a la carte. This place has a large dining room but gets pretty busy, so definitely recommend booking a table, especially for a group. Loved the maggi style lobster, and the salted egg crab!

We had an amazing in this restaurant. We loved the fantastic atmosphere and the menu. The staff are super attentive. I’m content we finally managed to eat here.

We finally went here after seeing many pictures of the iconic lobster tower. Upon entering, you get amazed at the walls of tanks full of ginormous lobsters and King crabs. The menu is a bit confusing because there's a few different menus, and some of the waitresses don't speak fluent English. It took us a good 20-30 minutes to decide, and luckily we had a Chinese-speaking person in our group. The food itself was amazing and tasted really good and flavorful (we got it cooked in Hong Kong style). It was quite an experience and we were all stuffed for a good day and a half lol. I'll definitely come back. Just keep in mind, it can be quite expensive, so the more people you have to split it with, the more affordable and the more dishes you can try.

Definitely one of my favourite places for lobster and king crab. Price is a little high compared to others. Also some items on the menu is only served during lunch hours.

Huge place! And huge servings! My 4 Girlfriends and I had a 15lbs lobster dinner set. We're surprised when they served us a huge tower of deep fried lobster on a plate of French fries and this-addicting-crunchy-tiny white fish! The lobster's meat was cooked perfectly - soft and tender.
Sumptuous dinner! Which ended each five of us up with a full take-away container!

The bad side: It's kinda oily (yah, yah, coz it's deep fried! I know). Just hoping that they would have some choices on how the customer would want their lobster/crab to be cooked.

This place is amazing! They specialize in lobster and the prices are not terrible. You only pay for the lobster combo and it comes with rice, greens, congee, and the lobster prepared in different ways. There are so many ways they prepare the lobster and the experience is very high end. Might be a little pricey but at the end of the day, lobster cannot be a better deal. Their food is amazing and super high end. The atmosphere is romantic and fancy. Great place to eat! Lunch is cheaper so I recommend going during lunch because the prices at dinner rise significantly.
