I went today for the first time to get a set of dumbbells. He was very helpful and I was in and out in under 5 min. Also his prices are better than you will find anywhere else. Highly recommend!

I had a very pleasant and efficient experience visiting the store today. I was unsure of which dumbbell weight was most appropriate for me and the exercise I was expanding upon. So I was invited to give it a whirl on one of their available workout benches. That was exactly what I had hoped for. Happy customer here. This store has been in the Thornhill location for many years. They always have what I am looking for and not only are the prices better than other places (even Amazon!) the customer service is excellent. I'm greeted almost after walking in and they know their products! A great place to shop for everything fitness!

I had an amazing experience. Peter was great answering my questions and was very friendly. They sell a lot of cheap gym equipment compared to other store. I will definitely come back again!

Recently visited the Thornhill location for the first time and was instantly greeted by very helpful and nice employees. There is a variety of gym equipment, all very well priced. Perfect place for anyone trying to purchase gym equipment, will be coming back again.

The rubber of the strength bands turn into sand and grim that doesn't wash off! It's been a nightmare for my executive clients. The worst part is I was charged a 5% restocking fee to return them.

I have been a customer to this location for almost 6 years. They always have nice staff members and all products I bought have matched my expectation. I will definitely return for more products in future!

I went in to look at a power rack, adjustable dumbbells, floor matts, barbells, and bumper plates. I mentioned to the white grey haired gentleman the above requirements. He then proceeded to send me an e-mail with the quote and links to the above mentioned requirements. Very professional and direct.

Picked up about 400lbs of weights here, staff was quite helpful and friendly. The location is a bit tricky to get to, but they had enough stock of what I needed.

Felt incredibly unwelcome, walked in thru the door and said hello, no one said hi back despite at least one person not talking to anyone else.i went with a friend so i had someone to show me around, but none of the staff even bothered.when i was ready to check out, we were standing in front of the cash waiting for a while and no one even acknowledged us.one person was behind the register on the phone, so he was busy, which I understand, but he didnt even look up to acknowledge our presence.when someone finally rang us up, he was incredibly rude and impatient, rolling his eyes at us.anyways wont be coming back.

Jason is one of the nicest person I've met, he knows his stuff and he's willing to help you. I bought my entire home gym from here. Very satisfied!

Well stocked, great selection of equipment. One of the better stores in the GTA. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

This store has great selection of products. Jason helped us find a spin bike that was great quality and in our budget.

The worst customer service ever. Only the manager, the rest of the staff was nice. He was incredibly rude please do yourself a favour and never go here.

Jason at Fitness Depot has been a lifesaver during this pandemic. When items have been sold out and on indefinite backorder in all stores throughout the nation and online - Fitness Depot managed to keep stock and deliver a quality product for a competitive price. The delivery team were also top notch as they managed to figure out how to setup a full size commercial treadmill on the second floor of an old narrow house in Toronto. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work!

Unlike all the scalpers and other retailers that will charge you crazy inflated prices. This place I trust to always give me the right price since before the COVID lockdown.

What a great experience! I ordered a treadmill and within a day or so it was delivered and installed at my home. I would highly recommend this Fitness Depot. Excellent customer service! I'll definitely be back.

They only allow 3 or 4 costumers in at a time despite the large store size. Friendly staff. Most importantly, they had the plates I needed in stock! (albeit fiar pandamic prices:) )

The store has better stock than most others during the pandemic, but the customer service is atrocious, with the manager throwing insults at times (an attempt at trying to be funny.hard to tell) ? The markup is also pretty bad, which has steadily increased to about $2.5 per LB for standard rubber dumbbells and rubber plates.

If you can't wait then this store is essentially all that's left if you need your weights quickly, but I'd suggest either going to Kijiji for a discount or just waiting a few more months for gyms to open up again and the price of weights to drop back down to their pre-pandemic pricing of around ~1$ per LB.

We purchased multiple items from this Fitness Depot location. Items were delivered and set up quickly and with care. The individual that we dealt with at the store was easy to deal with - did not pressure us and showed us a number of options. He also was open about the pros and cons of each.

I waited patiently outside until it was my turn in the store. Once I went in, I was greeted by a very rude employee asking "what do you want? " Even before I answered him, he said "we are very busy, let's go, we don't have time to waste" Is that what you call customer service? Wow, not very impressed!

They have no idea what customer service is.very rude and impolite staff. Drove 45 min and wait patientlly outside of the store due to COVID which was no issue at all when I entered store just to check a pair of dumbbells. They mentioned in their website they should be are available, but they did not update their stock.pure waste of time!

I ordered a squat rack, bench, Olympic bar, and weight plates. I received the goods in two weeks. I should have ordered more plates when I had the chance. Overall a positive experience with Fitness Depot Richmond Hill.

Went here to look at upright bikes. The sales people were VERY aggressive. After saying we were just starting to look around at different options and weren’t looking to make a commitment that day, they continuously asked which one we were going to go with. That being said, they have decent equipment like weights, and resistant bands for a good price. Ended up buying a bike at treadmill factory - love it!

A combination of somewhat helpful and disregarding to potential business. We bought a weighted bag. We were looking for kettle bells but due to the world's gyms being shut down they were trapped of stock. Not their fault. Their unenthusiastic approach to assistance left us dramatically unimpressed. Our final impression was they are working hard to replenish stock be were somewhat preoccupied for clients. We will give them another shot.

My husband and I purchased the Nordic Track spinner after looking at the Peloton. I'm so happy with the spinning classes, my husband and kids enjoy the trails. We will be back to purchase more equipment in the New Year.

The store is off Yonge st hidden in an industrial area. When you walk in the store is full of everything you can imagine for your home gym.

Strongly recommend this place if you’d like to enjoy disrespectful customer services and one of the sales man’s embarrassing jokes/sarcasm

Wanted to see urathane or rubber dumbbells but they don't even keep one set in stock and rep went into long explanation why that is.then told me it's a internet world.so why don't you close your doors? This is probably the worst location for fitness depot.

Terrible customer service. Bought an elliptical a month ago, had to find the unit myself in the warehouse, grab a pallet jack and carry it out. No help by the customer service rep. Shop elsewhere.

Excellent service! The manager here values his clients more than anything. He listens and then suggests based on your needs, not an alternative motive.

Store is okay. Got some stuff that i needed. Just weird dealing with some of the staff. Youd say Hi and the guy just looks at you and says what do you need. He d say just get them over there. And then in the middle of the conversation would ask for your ethnic background. Blunt. Thats okay, its a reality here. Dealt with some cool FD staff at other locations, though. That makes it still worth it continuing patronizing FD products

Just buy stuff in there. They just leave you in store without help. When you find out which one you want to buy, they just push you to swipe your card and no more details. They only care people preparing open gym or big business. If you a individual want to buy small thing for training. Don’t come.

I have heard from many people and also in the reviews that the owner is not a nice guy, but I can say he is an amazing person.as soon as he knows what you need he will try his best to get you what you exactly asked for.when I went in to the store there were 2 guys sitting, they greated me warmly and I ended up purchasing what I was looking for without any hassles.they even helped me and loaded the equipment in to my car. Horrible horrible customer service.the owner seemed deliberately keep his back on me. I walked out of the store empty hand. I can't understand how anyone would run a business like that.

I went to this Fitness Depot location to buy a foam roller and a half-balance bosu ball for my parents for Christmas. Upon getting there, the employee who located the bosu ball for me (it was not labelled, and in a plain brown box) treated me like I was not worth his time.

I asked him about the return or exchange policy (I mean they are Christmas gifts after all), and he returned with a short, and rude response of "No exchanges, no refunds". So, I politely asked him "If this isn't what my parents are looking for, they can't come in and exchange it? ", in which he replied with raised eyebrows, and a shake of the head.

This is extraordinarily disappointing. I understand that if the packages have been opened and used, there would be no return policy; if the product is sealed (plastic wrap around foam roller), and bosu ball has clearly been unused and uninflated, why wouldn't they at least offer store credit?

I have shopped at this location many times in the past, but will never go back. I hope other Fitness Depot locations will offer me better service.
