Take it all the way! Also all orders of fries are huge. The shakes are awesome and this is one of the few places in town where you can get malt in the shake. In the back by the pickup window, there are complimentary peanuts in the shell. Definitely a great place for a burger and fries.
This place is consistently good. Today however I did find a long black hair in my burger. Now I usually don't get grossed out by this kind of thing, so it wasn't a big deal. I told the crew memeber behind the cash at the moment, they said they make me a new one, no apolgy btw. I said no, it's fine just tell your team to be more careful. I think she went to clean the dining room right after, instead of telling her manager. I ate my burger but I was not impressed with their lack of customer service today. It easy. "I'm really sorry about that, we'll make you a new one and I'll inform my manager. " Immediately tell the manager so you're crew won't have dangling hair over guest's food.
I’ve had burgers at Wendy’s that were comparable. So not sure what all the fuss is about.
I love a good burger and have been told to check out 5 guys forever but could never stomach the almost $10 for a burger. And if you add fries and a coke it’s almost $20. I can get a whole lotta better food for $20.
Anyway I gave it a shot. Waited in line, put in my order and a few minutes later I get a bag of food. I sit right down to eat all excited and take my first bite. Toppings are fresh and the meat and cheese is all cooked but nothing spectacular. Just a basic burger. And the fries were just ok.
This was my very first time to try eating at Five Guys since I was hearing nice reviews about this fast food chain. So I went there around 5: 40 pm on December 4 2018 and this Asian lady with a short stature was the one at the counter. I was very disappointed how she dealt with me. First, she didn't even greet me and just yelled "next" without even looking at me. Then I kindly stated my order and she was really displaying an annoying intimidating attitude. She gave me my receipt without even stating where to go next. Such an attitude SMH. The burger and fries really met my expectations though. If not only for that lady I would have dropped a 5 star rating. Maybe I'll rather try to go to other branch coz of this bad first impression.
The burgers are a little overpriced but tasty. The staff was quick to make the burgers and inviting. I was not a fan of the processed cheese they use. The bacon and onions were fantastic. The burgers themself were very good overall.
Very nice place to eat at but this place is very expensive for 2 burgers it costs 20$. A very cool part about going to almost any 5 guys is their is unlimited amounts of peanuts you can get for 100% free which is really cool of five guys. The only thing i hate about five guys is the food is sometimes overcooked that's why i recomend getting burger sauce on top of your burger because in some cases the burgers are just so overcooked to the point where their just unbearable.
Five guys is an amazing burger chain, and their food is superb. Everything is fresh, with fries and ground beef being made on site. All toppings are free, and the burgers and your typical, stingy, thin McDonald's burgers. They are juicy, thick, and the cheese actually melted on to it. The fries are amazing, and I would recommend that you try the Cajun fries. The fries are all fried in peanut oil, giving them a distinct flavour. The portions are also very large, so you can leave feeling satisfied. The restaurant has a diner vibe to it, complete with red and white checkered walls. The staff are friendly, and have no trouble taking special requests. It's location is also optimal, right next to the Eaton center and Dundas square. Would recommend to anyone.
Great burgers and fries. I also love the free peanuts.
The burger is a basic hamburger, in the the thinner side, with good flavor and texture. The normal burger comes with 2 patties so if that's too much eat get their small burger (maybe kids burger? I don't remember)
Fries that you could enjoy as meal on their own, but they taste so much better with a messy burger and all the fixings. They give you a lot of napkins, and you'll need them all unless you like to lick your palms.
Every time I was here, the burgers and the fries were always consistently delicious. They have peanuts here too, which is just an added bonus to whatever meal you're ordering. The fountain drinks were always good, I don't recall too many times, if any that they had tasted watered down or had any bad taste to them. They work fast and move fast here even with the tons of people that are usually coming in. The washroom facilities were clean, the tables in the seating area were cleaned quite well 99% of the time. The chairs aren't all over the place. It is quite a busy place, but if you've never been here, this is definitely somewhere that you would want to check out. The music they play on the radio here is quite awesome too.
Just your average burguer, I think the hype is too much.
Price is too expensive for the size you get, fries too. I mean, not bad, but not worth the price. I can get a A&W burger just as good with full combo for half the price I pay here for both the burger and price.
Try St Street Burguer instead, that's really worth it.
